Hex shrieked in pain as her mask unleashed a bright blinding light. The force of the impact shattered her face and caused her to scream in pain releasing Meiko in the process.
Souji finally recovered and rushed over to Meiko and took her hand." Come on! lets get out of here " he said as he rushed with her and touched the portal in the center of the room. Quickly the world around them fluxed as the cube lifted announcing that they had won. "We did it Meiko" he said as he kissed her lips from the relief. "Are you ok! you can walk right?" he asked
Palito walked up to both of them "Congratulations on your victory" she said. "Look" she pointed to a building in the distance. "That is where we must go to override Shodan" she said.
Kratos turned back to look at Toph. He smriked evilly now. After all he had gone through he was finally getting over it all. "Oh Toph" he said "Get out of the city... thats the only warning your getting. As of this point on if you die, i could care less" He continued walking down the hall. "Good luck" he said
Alexander growled. "Kratos is back in the city, i can sense him. Knowing what he was after last time these robots might not be the biggest issue we have to worry about"
Maverick followed closely behind Collette till they reached their destination. "Now what. we need to be able to save more then just 5 at a time" he told her. He couldnt help but think of Oomizu. She would know of a trick or two to get them out of this jam.

Navi was pretty cute, actually. A little too far on the childish side for his more romantic tastes, but still not at all unpleasant to be around. Why would so many of the others find her insufferable? "Comfortable?" Spy asked, in a slightly joking tone. He was still taking potshots now and again, but at a considerably less frequent rate. It was, unsurprisingly, difficult to aim when you couldn't see the barrel of your gun, and he did not want to hit anything other than the machines.
"Junge, I do not have zhe slightest idea vhat you are talking about," Medic replied, in a flat tone. "Zhis isn't zhe time to be vague; eizher explain yourself or make yourself useful!"
"Hey, guys," Jack began, wanting to make sure he had Kikyo's and Link's attention. "I don't know how much info this robot head has downloaded about the city, but I'm going to assume it knows about the sword and wants it. I... I could probably use a hand defending it. Now, Kikyo-One, I know you're hurt, and I know both you guys don't have very many attacks that are going to do a whole lot of damage to robots. You wanna stay up top and just send others after me, or you wanna come with?"

((Quick post before I get caught being up later than I should be. *shhhh* ))
Neru side glanced to the angel chick (no, she didn't bother learning her name) and focussed back on shooting at robots while she gave out an angry, "Stuff." That was as much detail as she was going to give. She didn't feel like talking to the overly nice angel lady making nice with every one and being everyone's new best friend.
Luki moved his hand from Toph's waist and lightl held her head, stroking her hair gently as he leaned his forhead against hers and lightly shushed her in a calm and soothing tone. "I know. It is nothing you hould concern yourself with. Lower thinking such as that is beneath you on so many levels. Just stay calm. When this is all over, you can relax and make the choice you feel is right if you haven't made one as of yet." The tone of his voice actually showed that perhaps he wanted her to keep the child. After all, he barely understood life, and the fact Toph had helped to make a new life, was helping make one at that very moment, was something none of the peope from his world could every really understand or do. Life was precious to them since to create it themselves was impossible. "Come on. Let us leave and find the rest of the people. At least they care for the city and are fighting for their home." The last line was spoken aloud, loud enough for Kratos to hear. He wanted him to hear. If memory served right, he had a twin sister. Surely she was fighting for the city. Maybe that little bit of info would strike a cord on Krato's thought process and make him re-evaluate himself.
Haku could tell he had registered what the pinch meant (or she could assume he had) and stepped back away from him with a hurt and unsure look. It was obvious she wanted to trust him, especailly now... When he offered to fly, she looked uncertainly to the helicopter. "....Even with the laser scope on my rifle, I do not think I could accurately hit the targets from the air while moving so fast... It might be best for me to walk..." Clearly, she misunderstood the concept of using the helicopter to cause damage to the robots.
Meiko grinned as she hit Hex. The woman deserved it. She shouldn't have been fondling Meiko if she hadn't wanted to pay back served to her. She saw Souji rush to her and help her up so they could get through the portal. She sighed in relief once they had passed and kissed him happily. When he asked if she was alright, she smiled weakly and nodded. "That hurt a lot more than I remember it used to... But I am sure I will be fine. My nerves are just a tad jumpy."
Oomizu listened to Selen and nodded lightly. So they were one step closer to going after the Old One. Good. Still it was bothering her both not knowing how her planet was and seeing Joseph act so violently and thoughtlessly. He was the one who thought things over between the two of them... He used to be the one she would go to and drag into trouble that would find a way to get them both out of trouble. Seeing Joseph behave so vicously towards Ostraa of all people was ominous that something bad was going to happen... She ran over to Joseph after he had punched Ostrava and was just about ready to leave them once more and grabbed Joseph's wrst, tugging hard on it as to get his attention by force. "Stop it! This isn't like you, Joseph nii-san!" Oomizu frowned and felt herself begin to tear up. "I know that you're angry, but you've never raised a hand against a comrad! It is not Ostrava's fault that this has gotten out of hand, so you shouldn't raise a hand to him for it! And you've never left a friend behind durring all the years I've known you! Why were you so willing to abondon Selen and I in that horrid swamp back there? Don't you care about anything besides revenge and murder? The Joseph I know doesn't act like such an a**!"

The look on Joseph's face was almost frightening now because of the rage he was in. Thankfully, however, he had a slight chance to calm down. After taking a deep breath, he just looked away. "You're right. Allant is the one to blame for all this. Ostrava just didn't do anything to stop it." He replied coldly. "You can talk to him if you'd like. But if he so much as raises his sword arm, i'm taking the kill." He warned Ostrava. "Allant's gone for far too long without paying for what he's done. But that all changes today." He whispered.
Before he could actually leave, Ostrava stopped him. "Joseph, wait! In the event that my father does turn hostile on me, I want you to have this." He told him as he pulled out a large object wrapped in a cloth. Joseph took the object and unfurled the cloth to reveal a 5 foot zweihander blade. But it looked elegant and sharp. "Demonbrant...." Joseph said in amazement. Still, he shrugged it off and just moved to the archstone. "Just remeber that this doesn't change anything."he told him without even so much as a backward glance. "if any of you want to stay, go ahead." He replied as he slung Demonbrant across his back.
Hearing Haku's concerns about the chopper just made Soap chuckle a bit. "oh ye of little faith. This bad boy's got high explosive rounds. So even if the bullet itself doesn't stop them, the resulting shrapnel will." He told her as he climbed into the cockpit. "It would take a mentally ill blind man to not hit anything with that gun." He told her.

Navi nodded "Very comfortable " she said as she looked out. "Hey spy do you remember how you defeated Shodan last time?" she asked wondering
Souji nodded. "Im just glad your ok." he said as he helped her walk a bit. "You hear that babe? We are getting close." he told her with a sigh of relief "Once we get there we can save your family" he smiled
Link nodded "Well we can do whatever we can to help. My barrier can defend pretty well i just need to rest for a while to charge back up" he told him.
Alexander shook his head "Kratos is back hes the one that rapped a girl here and ran off a few weeks ago. I dont know why hes back but he is and that is not good" he said.

"I can't see vhy it matters right this minute! Shodan vould kill him just as soon as any of us!" Medic never really was very good at the whole "empathy" thing. "Unless he is not a biological creature?" he remembered a second too late.
"I shot her in the face, and that distracted her long enough for Medic to deploy a Kritz on Heavy, which basically means his bullets started doing about twice as much damage and shredded her. At least... I'm pretty sure that is how it went," Spy replied, before scratching at his head a bit. "It is a little 'ard to remember every detail... There was that whole radiation poisoning thing, after all."
"Yeah, I have no idea how long you'd get to rest if you came with me right away," Jack replied, as the main building come into view. "How 'bout I just park near one of the entrances, and you go run and grab a few reinforcements? Kikyo-One, since you're hurt, it might be a good idea for you to get to where the people who can't fight are being kept. I'm sure you'd be able to help calm most of them down, I bet they're all pretty scared." He sure as hell was. At least he'd grown enough to be able to deal with it.

Toph nodded softly, not really in a mood to talk. After hearing all that Kratos had told her, she felt so low, she was sub-zero. It was a terrible feeling, not only for the child that was inside of her, but because she had been shaken to a point where her mind was unsure, uneasy, and could be tampered with by a few quick licks at ease. "Actually, Luki. I'm not really in the mood to fight anymore. I'm going to... I want to go to safety with the rest of the people." She told him in a voice just above a whisper. She felt so depressed and alone, although she knew that Luki and Luka were her best friends here and she appreciated their company so much, she just wanted to be alone for awhile. She had lost the fire from her soul that she had before coming here, and at this point, she was unsure if she could get it back right now.
Yuzuki and Raidou finally got to the group after a few minutes of going through winding streets and mountains of rubble. But once they made it to the barracade that was still holding up, she let go of Raidou's hand. She laid her back against the wall for a moment, closing her eyes to try to recollect herself from their basicall life-threatenin ordeal. "Raidou! You alright?" She asked him before she peaked her head through a hole, getting a good read on the enemy. "How about you guys?" She referred to the Team Fortress 2 guys, "Are you guys holding the front lines alright? Any word from Emmett or whatever to tell us what the hell is going on?"
Collette couldn't help but scoff slightly as she lowered everyone to the ground. From there, she concentrated enough to where a pillar of light appeared and all of the people suddenly disappeared. "There. Done." She told Maverick as she rolled her eyes some. "Look! I'm doing all I ca right now, I'm still getting used to these powers so just... nh! Aren't you an alchemist? Can't you just transmute everyone to safety?" She all but yelled at him as she ran a hand through her hair, trying to think of what else she could do in the meantime before they would have to reconnect with the rest of the group.
Azmaria shook her head slightly, used to this sort of treatment. Because of her singing and her appearence, she was usually sent out by groups of children who singled herself out because she was different. She had fine white hair with soft red eyes, a symbol of any albino child. How she was born this way, she never really knew. But perhaps it was just God's wish for her to be put through his juvenile hatred, to make her stronger. But the only flaw in that idea, coupled with the fact that she chose to enter an all-out war in Quasar, was that she was only 12 years old when she left Boston in 1928. This new place was terrifying to her, seeing things and machines that she could never have imagined even existing anywhere in the world. Well, this was another world... so she guessed that she could expand her sense of disbelief just enough. Well, she was a freakin' Apostle for Chrissake, that should be enough for anyone to just shut up and go with it. Since Neru was not even giving her the time of day, the young angel sat there quietly, using her manipulation of light to create a a small pistol, like the ones Rosette would use back before she died. Although she was against violence, these things were just machines, as Spy had explained to her, so asking for God's forgiveness anyway, she began to shoot. Working in the Order of Magdalene had given her a lot of experience in dealing with guns for exorcisms and the like, so this was just another day in the life of a nun, to her at least.

Oomizu was disheartened by Joseph's lack of caring. He was so hostile... The Joseph she had known and loved was gone. She felt the tear begin to run down her muddy face, but she didn't care. If Joseph didn't care, why should she? She looked down with an emotionless expression and acted as his shadow-- following him silently. She didn't want to go, but she felt as though she needed to. It wasn't as though she really had a choice.
Haku was still uncertain about the whole situation... But she didn't really have a choice. She wasn't in the mood to limp down to the group alone. Besides, she felt as though some one needed to keep an eye on Joseph. She got into her part of the cockpit and folded her hands in her lap as she waited for him to go.
Scout was made even more confused by the whole Krato situation. When had this happened? Well, in the back of his mid, he said he was right about it being unsafe for women durring times of war. The whole rape thing was more what he had meant. Oh well. Can't change what happened... Though he hoped the girl was alright.
Soldier seemed outraged about the whole rape thing and clentched his fist. "We should go kill the sonuvabitch while he is still here! There is no honor in a man that stoops so low!"
Kikyo looked to Jack before she looked to her injury. "You know I wish to stay with you both and help in any way possible, but you are right. With my injury, it would probably be best I stay with those incapable of fighting. The least I could do was heal some of th stronger ones there so that they can assist while I comfort the others.
Meiko used him as support to walk and smiled to him. It was good to know they were almost done. "I am glad to hear we are nearly done. I think after everything is settled once more, I am going to take a nice, long nap."
((Sorry it took so long to get this posted. I'm really tired and I actually got stuck on what to say. sweatdrop ))
Under most circumstances, Luki would be giddy with joy to hear any of his friends agree to do something he had been pushing for them to do. This was not one of those times, though. Toph looked so beaten down, and just from what Kratos had said and done. This was not like her. Her defeated mannor did not suit her at all. A proud, "******** you, I'll do my own thing" spirit fit her better than the broken-down spirit she showed now. He sighed, knowing he would regret what he was about to do. He turned and placed both hands on Toph's shoulder and adjusted his height so she would have no choice but to look at him. "Toph-chan, I know what Kratos said affected you, but are you really about to let that over-glorified neko--" He wasn't sure what Kratos was, so he just went with a neko "-- get the better of you and kill who you are? You are Toph, one of the most dangerous and kick a** women of both your planet and this planet. Us men, we're nothing but cockroaches compared to you. Sure, we may be able to survive nearly anything, but we're still shifty and disgusting compared to such a hard-working woman like yourself. You can't let getting one cockroach's guts on your shoe get you down. Stomp on a few more, laugh, and continue kicking a**. Now then, let us go before my pep talk has a chance to actually work. The sooner I get you some where safe, the less stupid I'll feel for trying to encourage to get you involved in this mess." He got down on one knee and waited for Toph to get on his back so he could carry her like they had agreed.
Neru continued ignoring the new girl. It wasn't so much the girl herself so much as it was the girl in general. She was sweet, kind, muscally talented, and people loved her instantly. At the same time though, she looked like Haku. That white hair and red eyes, the only thing that could make her look more like her friend was iff she had huge boobs sticking out of a polo top! This woman was Miku and Haku combined, and LIKED! It pissed Neru off how hard she had to work to get liked in general, though not necesarilly in this world. This girl came from no where and suddenly Spy of all people was praising her and the blue dragon fly was giggling over how great she was. Neru growled and took out another three robots.

Raidou went behind cover with Yuzuki. He actually noticed some of the people around from his first mission. He looked to Yuzuki and nodded. "Yeah, I'm okay, but what do we do now? We seem to be fighting an endless army."

After pressing his hand against the archstone, the four found themselves back in front of the opening towards the castle, the armor of Thomas's demon form still laying where it was. "Rest easy Thomas. Everything will be repaid soon enough.." Joseph whispered as he leaded the way into the castle. After a few flight of stairs, they found themselves within the throne room of the castle, where Allant surely was. The man was watching over the kingdom from the window of his castle, the twin blade of Demonbrant, Soulbrant, was within his hand.
Ostrava stepped up in front of the group, hoping to try and convince his fatgher to change his mind. "Father... Everyone knows. They know that you summoned the soul arts from the old one. And that you allowed the attack. Please, find it in your heart to stop all this!" He begged Allant. But the man just turned aorund and smiled. "But my boy, this is merely a mercy act to end our tragic existence. Nobody really wishes to go on. And so, God created the old one to end the violence and suffering." Allant explained. All the while, Joseph stared with unimaginable fury, his hands balled into fists and shaking with anger.
Ostrava simply then backed away, almost completely dumbfounded to hear what his father had said, "No.. You were never like this!" He shouted, heartbroken that his father would go to such lengths. Allant himself seemed to be the same, as he walked towards Ostrava with a sad face. Then, I guess I will have to do what is necessary, my son. Please understand.." He told him as he raised his sword into the air. That was all Joseph needed to see to have him jump out slashing at the king. However, the slashed only seemed to cause Allant to fade into thin air. The king was a fake! Joseph just couldn't believe the cowardice of that man. Still, he had the souls of the archdemons. That, alone, was worth something. "Well, it seems my fake was killed as well. Tell you what. I've opened the pathway under the nexus towards the Old One. Meet me there, and we'll talk." This was it! Joseph would finally have his chance!

She watched the event with the false king unfold and frowned. So he was a fake? The voice spoke again and mentioned he was near where the Old One was. She narrowed her eyes and lightly touched her chest where, underneath the armor, she was hiding the piece of paper Maverick had given her with the powerful alchemy circle that could send the monster elsewhere. Her time here was finally close to ending. Maybe once Joseph exacted his revenge, he would act himself once more and be willing to come home.

However, most of the four seemed to be in bitter moods, So Selen just hmmphed in frustration and waited for what was to happen. The maiden simply took Joseph's hand and walked him off the edge of the cavern. With Ostrava and Selen following, the fall seemed long, until a light enveloped them, and Joseph lost all sense and feel for a brief moment. When the light faded, they were all on a beach, fqcing a giant funnel encased in branches. The Old One. Soap began to spin up the main and sub rotors of the chopper, the machine itself lifting off the ground slightly. "All right, man the gun! We're gonna shoot down as many of those metal bitches as we can!" He told Haku through the headset as he began to fly over the battlefield while arming the front guns and missle pods.

((woo hoo writers's block XD sorryz)) Palito was feeling envious of all the emotions and things that they were sharing that she never was able to. But then again a program like her shouldnt be able to feel such things. "Hurry. we can get there fast if we run!" Souji nodded as he took her hand once again. This time he also took Palito's since she seemed to be all lonely over there in her own invisible corner. He was sure Meiko would understand why he did it."Come on, lets go then! " he said as they all rushed to where the main frame was at. Alexander nodded "I guess. Well lets get rid of the rest of these for now." he said as looked at the increasing amount of bots. "Looks like we are getting the finger from some sick twisted force." he smirked." I cant believe this is happening. We cant fight them off when they keep coming and coming " Link nodded "that would be best for now. I need to restock too. put me close to the stock room" he told Jack before looking over to Kikyo. "Be careful my love, Remember to use Neru's love if things get to crazy and get out of there." he told her as he cuddled with her. They would still act like a young couple from time to time, something Oomizu never really liked cause she thought it was too weird. Navi nodded. "Why dont we do the same? Or is there not enough time?" she asked "Im sure that some of the machines down there dont have all the upgrades that the Cop bots have up here." Maverick shook his head "Only if you want a bunch of inside out bodies laying around here. Transmuting them over here would require me to disassemble their body and reassemble them over here, A process that is impossible. You cant transmute a human being." he said shaking his head. "But i do got an idea" he said as he walked over to a table and pulled out a larger piece of paper and started drawing on it. After he was done he smirked as he placed it on the ground. "One tank coming up!" he said as he activated the circle forming a giant tank out of nowhere.
Maverick sighed. "I was hoping to show this one off to Oomizu when we fought our next battle together" he said a bit sadly. "but desperate times..."he said as he motioned her to get inRaguna continued to fly over head firing a few more volleys into the ground below. As he pulled up he felt a violent shaking on the ship he was flying. Alarms started going off indicating he was hit. "What do i do now!" he pouted as he pushed a few buttons trying to make the red lights go away.
A bot approached the young angel from behind. Its claws spinned as it made a dash at the angel in a attempt to slice her up.
One of the bots made a hit on the Medic. The gash was great, Medic had been caught off guard because of his constant talking with the rest of the group he was with. The bot now reeled back getting ready to slash into him again. "Doktor!" Heavy yelled as he rushed up and blocked the bot with his minigun, pushing it backwards. Heavy looked around. they were now surrounded. "Not guud." he said
