Feeling a set of lips lightly brush against his forehead, Blank took in a deep breath of slight surprise, though he didn't move much, only burying his face further into the pillow, "Mm..." He moaned when her hand touch his skin his arm looping more so around her and pulled her closer, a tired but warm smile on his face.

Grinning, Aki begins to run her fingers through Blank's hair affectionately. She loved how cute he was when he was sleepy, and she couldn't help but let out a small giggle. As he pulls her closer, Aki brushes her lips against his softly, then kisses him.

Blank smiled at her touch, breathing in deeply as her fingers moved through his hair. When her lips brushed against his, he felt his body shiver slightly before he returned her kiss, hugging her close to him. Parting slowly, he peaked through the slits of his eyes with a smile, "....Mornin'." He whispered softly before giving her another kiss.

"Good morning," Aki says, returning his kiss. She snuggles close, and grins at Blank.
"Were you here all night?"

"Mhm..." He replied as he buried his face into the nape of her neck, holding her close tiredly, "...I think the nurse wanted to pry me away from you...but I pretended to sleep the whole time." He replied through closed eyes running his hand over her back slowly.

Aki giggles and kisses the top of his head.
"Well I'm glad. Waking up in the infirmary isn't nearly as bad when I wake up with you beside me," she says, grinning happily.

Blank grinned before nodding, "You should start carryin' a picture of me, then." He replied, chuckling lightly into her neck before giving her a light kiss, "...Is today our last day of being here?" He asked, pulling away slightly with a bit of a frown.

"Mmmhmm.. unfortunately. I couldn't get an airship so we gotta leave today if we want to make it to Dollet when we planned. But now that the girls have actually met you, they promised to come visit us," Aki says, giving Blank a reassuring smile.
Just then, the nurse walks in with a tray of food and two glasses of water. Aki peers over at her, and reluctantly sits up. The nurse puts the tray on the table beside the bed and smiles at Aki.
"I see you're up. How are you feeling this morning?" she asks.
"Oh you know... a little weak. Also groggy from the sedative you guys insist of giving me every time... I really hate those things," Aki replies.
"Yes well, if we didn't sedate you, you would sneak out halfway through the night and go frolicking about and wind up back here in worse shape than before. And you know that's true, so you just eat up your breakfast and don't argue," the nurse says, raising an eyebrow at the red-head.
Aki grins and reaches over Blank, grabbing one of the water glasses.
"You can leave once you've eaten, but take it easy, will you?" the nurse says.
She then turns to Blank before leaving and adds, "Make sure she rests and stays out of trouble for a couple days."
She gives Aki a serious look, then turns and leaves.

"Aww..." He groaned slightly...he was lookin' pretty forward to the airship, but somewhere he knew it was bound to happen. Adel wasn't one to just hand out Estharian technology...especially to Garden, despite who was probably in the government. Blank didn't dwell on it though, instead he would be happy with what he had.
When the nurse walked in with a tray full of food. Grinning, he nodded his head and sat up, "I will." He replied before looking over at Aki with a wicked grin, "Or else it'll be the lashings..." His grin gave away all hope of intimidation as he took the other glass of water and took a sip.

Aki grins back at Blank, and shakes her head. She downs her glass of water and puts her empty cup on the empty table next to her. She then looks to the try of food beside Blank, eying the two plates filled with scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, and fresh fruit. Her stomach gives a hungry growl as she realizes she hadn't eaten since breakfast the day before.
"Could you please hand me a plate? I'm staarved! she says, her stomach giving another loud growl.

Hearing her stomach make such a loud growl caused him to jump alittle, awakening him even more, "Holy Hyne, do you have a Grendal in there or something?" Blank asked with a wide grin of surprise. He grabbed at the plate before he heard her stomach growl again, "Quick! Quench the beasts thirst!" He said and handed her the plate.
He picked up the other, and set it in his lap, picking up an orange slice and popping it into his mouth.

"Ha ha, you're sooo funny. Make fun of the injured girl why don't you," Aki says teasingly, sticking her tongue out at him.
She begins to devour her food, and finishes it in only a few minutes. When she is done, she puts her empty plate beside her glass and eyes Blank's plate slyly.

Blank grinned before giving her a light kiss on the cheek, "Awww, I'm just teasin'." He said, wrapping an arm around her reassuringly as he picked at the fruit on his plate. He ate slowly...while Aki consumed her entire plate within a matter of minutes.
When she was finished, she began to overlook his plate when he looked between her and his food, "What uh...What are you lookin' at?" The crimson warrior asked cautiously, taking another orange slice and popping it into his mouth.

"Mmm... I'm still kinda hungry.." Aki says, inching closer to Blank.
She leans her head on his shoulder and stares at his plate, sizing up what would be easiest to steal.

"Ohhh...Well...What are you gonna do?" Blank teased as he took another slice of orange and rubbed it jokingly along his lips in a teasing manner before popping it into his mouth and chewing it down with a grin.
