The Chief holstered his gun, as did the rest of the police. "I know Cross. I'll take your word on this." He glanced back at the door.
"Cross, you know where the Grid control room is? Our files aren't the most up to date on this place, and time is of the essence."

"Show me what you've got map-wise and I should be able to point it out for you." Minerva gave a slight smile. "Glad I don't have to be shooting you today, Chief."

The Chief held his game out to show her, a map of the complex on it. "You were outgunned. You wouldn't have been shooting much." The Chief smiled.

Arch the Angel The Chief held his game out to show her, a map of the complex on it. "You were outgunned. You wouldn't have been shooting much." The Chief smiled. "I would have still taken you out." Minerva smiled back. She looked at the gameboy and then tapped the screen over one of the rooms. "This is old. They made an extension here, and moved the control center here, more room room for upgrade. It wouldn't have taken more than ten minutes to find though."

"Told you it was old, you gonna tell where the control room is?" The Cheif glanced at the door. "There's a herd of unhappiness on the other side of this door, and I'd rather not have one of them open the door and bump into this mess we got."

Arch the Angel "Told you it was old, you gonna tell where the control room is?" The Cheif glanced at the door. "There's a herd of unhappiness on the other side of this door, and I'd rather not have one of them open the door and bump into this mess we got." "You don't pay much attention do you?" Minerva tapped the screen again, where she had pointed to earlier. "Control room is right here. Down this hall, third door. Key card is required, I have one, but it's likely I've been locked out. As for the unhappy herd.....we could always gas them, worked well on a wedding party I shot up once."

The Chief disregarded her comment like he did the last one and went straight to the plan at hand. "Gassing is unsure: there's a lot of them, and if they started panicking, the whole base would be upset by it."

Minerva shrugged, "We could always hit the supply room first grab a few uniforms...and blend in with the crowd. It's just up a level and to the right."

The Chief moved out, finding the clothing room, and proceeded to change into the standard uniform for the base level troop, though he kept his personalized bullet-proof shirt. The rest of the police force did the same, and after a brief change, looked like they belonged.

Sahira glanced down at the drab colors, and flinched slightly at the rough fabric on her sensitive skin. "I'd rather run through the base naked." She muttered to herself, as she walked out to stand by the rest of the police.

"Wouldn't be terribly opposed to that, Ra, but we're looking for covert, and we're pushing it as is." The Chief walked out the door, glancing around.
"Alright, here's what we're gonna do. My men will hang around in case we need help, but other than that, the few of us are going to go and take out the Grid. Once it's down, feel free to fight your way towards us, because we'll prolly need help at that point." The Chief glances around, nodding his head, and heads out the room.
((This means all my red-shirts stay back))

"We're going to get back the powers. You wanted to help, so an extra super on our side when we end up trapped after lowering the Grid wouldn't be bad." The Chief said, sticking his head back in. "Means you're coming with. Come on, let's go."
