Hi all! I'm not sure who to introduce here, myself or my character. smile My character "Itesa" is a fan-made character from the world of Elfquest. She's an immortal (as opposed to a wolf-blooded, mortal) elf from the desert and very confused to find herself here on Gaia! You can read my journal for accounts of her adjustment. I myself have been a member of the church all of my life. I grew up watching "Johnny Lingo" every time my Sunday School class could beg, wheedle or scare off the teacher. (I teach in Primary myself now and have a lot more sympathy for my past teachers! *lol*) After I graduated from university I went and taught English in Japan for three years with my then-fiancee. Two years ago we moved back to his home country (Canada) and got married. That's pretty much my story. Right now I keep the house, play on the computer and try not to go stir crazy as I try to figure out what other directions to go and when. smile It's nice to meet you all! *edit* Coming to this forum never fails to get that Primary song stuck in my head!

I think its cute how the people who post on this forum, their avitars are wearing modest clothing ^_^ I just thought that was cute. I think this is a GREAT forum, chat... thingy, right on who ever started it. I am a mormon and I'm proud! WHEEE heart ok I feel better now, lol xp

Welcome Robynn from Washington! smile I'm not entirely sure my sari counts as modest-- it is essentially strapless on one side-- but I couldn't get it to equip over a t-shirt which is too bad because that's (a) more modest and (b) a perfectly normal way to wear a sari. I looooove sari's. ninja I'm gonna get one someday. I have this thing for cultural clothes I guess. I've got about 16 kimono and I can even wear a few! (The obi (sashes) are complicated things!)
