Giving a sharp bark of laughter at Yoh joke William began to lead the party down the tunnel yet again; twitchy as all hell thanks to his lack of fine motor control, but aware of all that was around him now that he had a heat source to keep him moving. Hearing Yoh's comment about the Wyrm, Will could only wonder what that was, but the meaning of the statement was not lost upon him; they where in the s**t now, no turning back.
"Iden, any idea when the next interchange will be, or if there even is another one?"

Iden defaulted to the left path when they got there. By this point, he was taking lead; he was very much hyped up on the closest thing to adrenaline a dead man can have. Rifle in one hand, phone in the other, he was pushing forwards.
There IS no Wyrm here, Yoh. This place isn't part of the world we know, I'm damn sure of it. I think it's changed itself, to boot...just keep moving. God knows, we don't have any other options.

Just fantastic. Labyrinth...
*Sighing, Yoh kept close, his eyes peering ahead into the dark as best as possible.
Down the left intersection, the tunnel opened out suddenly into an open chamber, the walls stretching away to either side, faint luminescence in the ice itself lending light ot the scene, as well as jumping shadows.
In the centre of the floor, a pile of bones. Out of which two sets of eyes glowed from the centre of the massive skull resting on the floor, three times the size of Yoachi.
Again behind them the tunnel closed itself up.*
... we're being herded.

Seeing the pair of eyes in the large skull in the middle of the pile, William didn't waste time assessing the situation; he just aimed the shotgun at the eyes and pulled the trigger. The blast of the weapon going off was deafening in the small space; the 23mm tungsten carbide slug would decimate the skull itself and destroy whatever beast was inside of it. Racking the shotgun again, the brass shell clanging against the floor; William swept the room for any other kind of creatures or dangers.

*A snarling gurgle came from Yoh, and for a second, Yang lifted off of Will in fright, taking the heat with it, then after realising what had caused the rukus, the dragon returned to its perch on William, curling its a tail lightly around his neck, one paw on his ear as it sta on his shoulder and told him off in its chittering voice.
On the other hand, bits of bone and fur had not littered the floor. The fur wasnt done yet though. Two mangy cats slowly got up, even mangier for William's attack, but not dead. Nowhere near dead*
Its been a while, leech. We've been busy.
*the left cat was talking to Iden. Why swiftly became clear. 1, Iden knew these beasts and two... there were a LOT more eyes opening up among the shadows of the room. The cats all had disease ridden hides, that on contact rotted anythind they touched. And now, there were a LOT of kittens coming towards the group from behind*
Here's a good plan.. RUN!
*pointing at the corridor on the other side of the room, currently with a route to it unobstructed, Yoh hoped Iden wouldnt decide to stand and fight*

Eyes...familiarity. Iden stepped forward, about to speak, but then the shotgun lifted.
Acting on lightning reflex, Iden spun 'round and reached for the gun. Alas, Will wasn't *that* slow; he squeezed the trigger.
The deafening thunder made Iden wince, then turn his gaze back to the skull.
Goddammit Will. I think I know what this is, and if I'm right, you don't need to waste that ammo.
No words went to Yoachi. Iden knew as well as he did he was right...and then, it was proved just how right Iden was. These were in fact familiar creatures, ones he was not at all pleased to see.
It has been a while. Pardon not sticking around, but I have a job to finish and a goat to keep dead...
Did he plan on ******** NO.
Acid cats are bad, yo. Iden was going to haul a** like a little sonofabitch.

Following Yoh as he hauled a** for another passage, William made sure that none of the mange ridden creatures touched him; dodging or batting them away with the butt of his shotgun. Williams main focus now was getting away from these disgusting animals and making sure the little dragon on his shoulder didn't fall off; if it did, William knew he was a dead man.
"So, either of you wanna tell me what the ******** those things where?"

*Ahead, the open space of the next room bristled with glints of light.*

For his part, Iden wasn't worried overly much for the feline creatures. He was fast, lean, and hard to catch. So he made it through all fine and dandy, and promptly took point. His gripes were, as yet, unspoken. Best to not show just how jittery nervous he was.

Keeping between the two, William reached into one of the bandoliers on his chest and pulled out another massive shell and put in into the gun; always reload when you have the chance, no matter what. Seeing the light up ahead, William brought his gun up and got ready; they where getting close to a good ambush point, and he wanted to be ready.
"Keep your eyes open guys, they might try and get us as we leave the tunnel!"

*Yoh was about to add another smarmy comment when Yin, the silver dragon, darted out of his clothes and zipped off into the room... and landed in mid air, sitting on the nearly invisible razor wires criss crossing the room*
....I dont think there needs to BE a they. Frion is going to let us kill ourselves. Any cunning plans?

Iden was fortunate for Yin's timely presence; he would have walked headlong into the wires blindly otherwise. Drawing to a halt, he chuckled.
This, Yoh, is where I wish I'd thought to bring the nailbat.
How to cross indeed...likely there were far too many wires to simply slip around. But then again, Iden was known for his willingness to try daft things. He reared his arm back and swung for the wire, presenting the outside of his arm to it. One could hope the metal gauntlet that sheathed his arm would be enough to prevent horrible arm removal. If it worked...then he'd be swinging like a madman to clear the road.

Stopping quickly at seeing the little dragon perched upon the wire, William was going to look carefully at the entrance to see if there was any chance of taking the wires down by hand; only to back away as Iden begin to swing at the wires hanging there.
"Jesus Iden, warn someone next time you have a damn seizure!"

*Yoh shook his head in amusement as Iden started tearing the delicate wires down with brute force, though his gauntlets WOULD end up scratched to all buggery and the odd flailing wire tip woudl give him small lacerations.
And it was at this point, suddenly, Iden's face loomed up out of the ice at the far side of the room, where the next tunnel SHOULD be. It was almost as if Iden was staring in a mirror of blakc ice... except that this face before him DIDNt copy his own movements, but quirked its head at the trio curiously*

Fist, meet Ice. Ice, Fist.
The two grew very quickly acquainted. It seemed about time to choke a b***h, and there was a prime candidate RIGHT there.
'Pardon the s**t post.
