"Actually, I probably wouldn't survive either if he really decided to kill me. But it'll be fun, c'mon!" He smiled happily.
He laughed. "I thought you wanted to 'leave him be' so he could be 'normal' or whatever."

I'm allowed to change my mind, arn't I?" He pouted, though he never remembered saying any such thing. "And I doubt he'll ever be 'normal'. I don't think any demon can be 'normal' besides." He grinned. "And I'd be bored otherwise."

((I gtg now. bbl hopefully.))
((Aww. =( Bye, then.))
"Fine. But if I die, it's your fault."

Way at the top of the highest tree, Rio made himself comfortable as possible, takin deeep, calming breaths. When that didn't work he resorted to using his whips and as a result, several dozen trees were missing the last 4 or 5 feet off their tops. His anger and frustration somewhat vented, he again went back to his breathing exercises, this time succeeding in calming down. Some would say hee was in a state of total Zen there atop the tree.

As suspected, Sol politely shook his head. "No thank you. I prefer my tea as is." He took a sip to illustrate his point and smiled. "MY stock will not be depleted...RIO'S however..." his voice trailed off as he gave Jerome an impudent grin. "It's the least he owes you after all the commotion he has caused."

(i fixed the typos. Happy Opal!?!?!)

(No, you didn't capitalize that pronoun XD.)

The priest nodded and put the sugar bowl back. He watched Sol from the corner of his eye, whondering why he was so...intriguing to him while he got cream. He offered this as well, but again expected it to be refused.
"Rio hasn't caused that much trouble. A little excitement isn't particularly bad."

(you go to hell! you go to hell and you die!!)

Again, he guessed correctly as Sol once more politely declined as he took another drink, is tongue flicking out to lick a drop of liquid that fell on his lips. "Do not let Rio hear you say that." he said with a soft laugh. "He might try to cause some actual trouble."

(In that order?)

Jerome found his eyes lingering on the drop of liquid and the tongue that caught it. He shook his head gently, not understanding himself or why his eyes kept wandering to Sol's lips. It was, however, rather aggravating, the way he kept getting distracted like that.
"I was not planning on letting him know...not that I would get the chance," he shrugged, not really paying attention to what he was saying. He stared at his teacup, trying to keep himself from staring at the incubus across from him.

(yes.)

Sol was aware of Jerome's eyes on him and for some strange reason felt the urge to blush rising, along with the urge to stare back at him. This disturbed him more than anything. He'd been courted by people of such astounding beauty it almost made one want to weep to look at them, by people who were of such quick and devastating wit it left you breathless after speaking a mere second with them. All had bored him senseless and had he not been paid well he would have killed them all and been done with it.

Yet, here was this simple HUMAN, a preist no less, and already Sol was feeling...something...something that was making him want to smile, to laugh, making him feel happiness at something so simple as a conversation and a cup of tea...and making him feel a growing urge to see how his lips would taste.

On the heels of that last thought the blush he had been holding back gained a little ground, color tinting his cheeks again before he hurridly rose, taking the kettle to get more water for their next cup of tea. His voice sounded the tiniest bit forced as he spoke from the sink.

"You never know. He could be listening in on us right now...although we would both probably be through a wall if he found out i was appropriating some of his tea."

Jerome watched Sol through his eyelashes and noticed the faint blush, wondering at it. He was curious as to what he had said to cause it, if it was him at all, and if not, what was it? Not that it was really any of his business, but still, a body couldn't help being curious, could he? He looked down at his near-empty mug and mulled over what this all meant, he had never felt like this way before. He'd felt something close to it, but....not quite like this.
"He may be waiting to accrue more evidence against us, though it doesn't really seem his style to bother waiting..."he said, finally looking back up at him.

Sol laughed, causing the small, wiry muscles on his back to rpple. The kettle filled he put it over the stove and turned back to Jerome, his lips turned in a smile and amusment making his eyes glow again. "Patience is considered by my brother to be a foul and loathesome thing best kept locked away." Walking back to the table, his hips swayed in a seductive, hypnotizing way though he was not even aware he was doing it. "If he knew, we, or at least I, would sure be being taught the "error of my ways" as it were."

Trying not to notice all these...enticing details and laughed.
"What's wrong with being patient?" He wondered aloud, watching Sol closely, trying to drink in everything, but also trying not to notice anything at all. It was a difficult task to undertake and he kept arguing with himself. Interestingly enough, one of the voices of the argument was French and the other English, Jerome had no idea why this happened, but it seemed to happen a lot.

"He is of the mindset that if you want something, take it without hesitation, whether it is an object, a person. "Strike hard, strike fast, never hesitate" is how our br-Uncle puts it." Reaching the table he plucked the empty cup fromm Jeromes hand and took it along with his own to the sink to rinse the tea leaves out. Two small packed appeared in his hand and he placed them in the empty cups just as the kettle whistled. Again picking up the hot kettle wth his bare hands he poured water into the cups, the aroma immedietly filling the kitchen with a smell you wouldn't expect to find this side of heaven.

Still doing his unintentionaly seductive walk Sol carried both cups back and set one in front of Jerome before continuing his narrative. "Although Rio tends to take the philosophy a ltitle too seriously." The fragrant scent of the tea continued rising, smelling better and better as it steeped, the color remaining a pale, amber color.

Jerome breathed the scent in, eyes closed and looked back at Sol, looking a bit dreamy.
"Your brother seems to take after you 'br-uncle' a great deal," he said, his voice gently teasing. It was the second or third time Sol had made that stumble, and he had wondered about it each time. He was still smiling at the tea and, being so distracted, his accent was peeking around the corner of his words.

Fire flashed breifly in the blue depths of Sol's eyes when Jerome imitated his slip of the tongue. "Yes. They are a great deal alike. Dravyn however, is a good deal more calm." It crossed his mind to tell Jerome the sordid truth about his family, however, judging by the preists reactions to some things he had said, he honestly doubted telling him the truth would be a wise choice. Restraining his tongue, he lifted his cup and took an experimental little sip. "A few more minutes." was his proclamation.

Jerome stirred his tea intently, and watched as the tea darkened. "Dravyn? That's an interesting name," he mused. The accent was still there, mostly because he hadn't notced it yet. Usually, when he became aware of it, he stopped himself with a trained ease. But something ((gee, I wonder what)) was managing to distract him quite thoroughly.

Sol's mouth opened like he was going to say something then closed as he caught himself, taking a moment to formulate what he was going to say. "Some parents have rather...odd taste in names for their offspring. Pray tell what you find so interesting aboout his name." While he really was curious as to waht Jerome found interesting about the name, Sol also wanted to keep him talking, greatly liking the accent.

"Oh, it's not odd," he began, "merely interesting. It's not a name I've heard before, though I'm sure there are many that I haven't heard or ever will. It has a nice sound to it - dray-vin...I don't, it just sounds ancient, in a way..." he stopped rambling, for fear of sounding even more like an idiot than he already did.

"Be careful when saying someone's name. They just might show up." Though he kept his tone light and teasing, there was an undercurrent of seriousness and fear to his voice. Unintentionaly his eyes swept the room as if making sure this Dravyn person did not show up. Satisfied nothing was amiss, he looked back at Jerome. "Are you not going to sample the tea?"

"I doubt that he will show up in my kitchen," the priest began in an attempt to sooth the demon, "And you said it would be a few minutes. I trust your judgement."

No sooner did the words leave Jeromes mouth when an icy tingle moved across his mind, like someone was dragging a dagger fresh from the freezer over it. Would you care to wager on that little priests? The voice, spoken directly into his mind, sounded as cold and cruel as a glacier with a madness to rival that of Rio's. Evil was the word that sprang first to mind. Sol continued to sit ccalmly, giving no indication he was aware of the voice.
