Anita's tail twitched in annoyance at the woman but she let it slide, sitting by Rin. Even she despised filling the forms out. "Ignore the tone..." She wondered if she should have brought Dr. Lillian instead to Rin.. but they were already there.

Rin nodded, she was still annoyed but she did let it slid, much on the form she didn't understand, but she did the best she could. During the process, she asked, "Will you go in with me, Anita? I don't know what to ask for, or want to say to these people." This was so weird and out of her element, she was never going to a place like this again!

Anita nodded. Next time she was getting Dr. Lillian. "Yea...it'll give me something to look foreward to..." She was actually scared of having kids for the sake of what the kid's life would be like...

Rin smiled and told her "Thanks." Looking down at the form she couldn't help but think they were helping each other. Anita would help her with this part, and she would take away most if not all of the surpries of giving birth and raising of half-vampire children.
A male doctor came out and called out her name, "Ms. Rin?" Standing up, she looked to Anita, she wasn't going to move without her.

Anita rose and followed her in to the doc's office. Anita perched herself next to a wall and leaned against it, arms folding under her chest while her gaze latched itself to the doc. She was naturally suspicious. However, what no one else really knew, was Anita was armed with one weapon, her choice browning which was concealed. Granted it was against the law but Anita was a tad jumpy with the new world she found herself in. It was her comfort blanky.

The doctor took her to the examantion room and asked her about a 'ultrasound' and 'blood work' and about a 'nurse coming' and left. Rin blinked, "I don't like the sounds of those words." She looked to Anita, a 'help' expression on her face.

Anita glanced back. "Ultrasounds are harmless. It allows you to peek inside your body, giving a 3D view of what's inside your stomach. Blood work involves little needles. And nurse comming...can't help you on that."

It sounded like the ultrasound was what she wanted. This was probably going to sound weird since she willingly gave her blood to Asher, but she said, "Do I have to have the blood work? All I want is to find out how many are in here." Patting her stomach, she looked up as a man came in.
He introduced himself as 'Nurse Yui' and procced to check her temprature, heartrate, she stiffened as the man's hands came nearly touch her chest, he also made her get on a scale for highth and weight. She nearly smacked him, her weight was for her to know alone. The man even had the aduactiy to tell her that she had gained more weight then she should at her 'stage'.
By the time the man left, she was seething with anger.

Anita just grinned. "I think I like you already." It was the temper she was liking. "They check your weight, height and all for medical records and to be aware of where your health is. Medical procedures unfortunately." Though Anita could have shot the guy for the remark on her fellow feline's weight.
The nurse came back in with the needle for blood test and Anita just growled softly. "She's just here to get checked up on for her pregnancy. No blood tests. Sheesh she knows she's pregnant."

Rin thought that was silly, she didn't need a medical record, this was the only time she was going to be here this once, even if she got pregnant again, she'd know what to expect so this wouldn't be necessary.
The nurse balked a moment and told Anita, "We need to be assured of her health, standard procedure, ma'ma." He nearly made a smart-alc comment because it was easy to draw conclusions from the fact there were two ladies her, no male.
Rin pulled her self in to action, Anita said she didn't need blood tests, so the was able to defend herself, "Look, I am healthy; I don't need any tests, just the ultrasound." Putting her hands on her hips she glared at him.
The nurse would rather not have two females angry at him, but tried once more to reason, "You'll need this information when you go to the hospital to have your child."
Rin growled lightly and told him, "No, and that means no. I will not have the tests and I will not have my child in any hospital." She was completely sure about that, she'd have help and deliver at home like everyone else. This guy was not on her like list.

Anita glared. "Standard my a**. Just get an ultrasound done and I'll have my doctor look at her, personally."
The guy frowned. Anita just frowned harder. "Look. I've had a bad morning. I'm in the mood to argue my way and my way is going to be this. Get the damn ultrasound done now. The mother wants a natural birth at home so she'll get it. Now stop playing like we're stupid."
Teh guy started to protest again before stopping and paling, finding the barrel of a gun in his face. Granted it wasn't peacful which Anita had wanted but the nurse was irritating her more then Rin. Most didn't interefere with Anita because of the status she had gotten by being Jean-Claude's sweety.

Rin's eyes went a bit wider at the gun, she hadn't known that Anita had weapons on her. However she didn't say anything about it. It was kind of funny how the nurse seemed nearly wet his pants.
The man told her to lie on the table and pull her shirt up and the doctor would be in the room soon. He also made the comment about Anita and 'butch'. Rin hissed at him and he ran out of the room as fast as he could. Shaking her head, she jumped up on the table and swung her legs lightly wondering why someone would come to this awful place.

She put the gun up. She liked Rin and in anita's eyes, Asher loved her. Doc came back in, an expression on his face of half wonder of what went on with his nurse. Behind him a different nurse came in, wheeling a portable ultrasound machine.

Rin watched the machine with wonder; and the doctor with suspicion. For the sake of her question, she laid down as asked. With some issue, she also pulled up her shirt and sweatshirt till they were gathered under her breast. Her tail flicked to the side, a sign of how unhappy she was about this.
He pulled the waistband of her sweatpants a bit and she nearly struck him, the only thing stopping her was he moved away to do something. The next thing she knew, very cold something was put on her. Hissing she muttered, 'Cold.' Followed by that, he worked on setting the rest of the equipment up and starts the procedure.

Anita made a mental note of getting Dr. Lillian for assisting in the birth...that is if Rin would want her help. She took her perch beside Rin.
The doc gave a look but shook his head, taking the control and starting the machine. Anita wouldn't say anything about Lillian until afterwards...and when Rin's temper cooled.
