Tirion Soleq My wife bought me DDRExtreme 1 and 2 and a new DDR mat. I say woot. I wish I still had the time and strength to DDR. My legs are alway sore from work so I never get to play DDRMAX2 anymore crying More importantly, I wish I had someone to play DDR with. Soleq is a lucky man in many respects.

My little sister wants to get the same stuff for us. I have DDRMAX 1 and 2, and two crappy mats one that has a broken right arrow. I hope she buys Extreme 1 and 2 and a new mat, that'll make my day. Then we could play at the same time and I could have friends over and I could play at school against people and and and....
I need friends to play DDR with.

Doesn't DDR for PS2 have some sort of network play? I wouldn't mind shelling out 40 bucks to play online with some of you guys.

That's why I only play in public, even if I have the home version. *sigh* that and I only have a PS1 Mix and crappy mats anyway...

For some reason I never cared much for DDR. I have played it, I have semi-decent coordination, but I never found it particularly exciting.
*Waits to be attacked by rabid DDR fans*

I can understand why someone wouldn't like it... But my first time playing was with 4 girls, and I now associate the game with... Uhm... >.> ... Yeah... twisted Soleq: I'm not really sure about that DDR online thing... I think it'd be a blast playing it online with you guys. I'm still on Light mode though, because my crappy ankles won't hold up when I'm doing a song with too much Air. crying

The next car that dies is personally being shoved off the nearest cliff. The following has happened in the last 3 days:
-One friend completely killed his car battery. We tried jumping it (and yes, we do know how to jump start a car; that is one thing I have done several times and so has he), and we tried some weird clutch trick since it's a stick. Didn't work.
-One friend is going to need a new transmission most likely. Her car began making....interesting....noises. Luckily it made the journey home without dying.
-One friend has a starter that died today. She needs a new one. Hooray for standing around for 2 hours waiting for a tow truck.
Now those of us remaining look at each other suspiciously, wondering when the next car will fall. I am lucky in that I fixed my taillight on Sunday. Maybe that is my car trouble for the year. I hope so.

My friends really want to start up a girls basketball team, and needed one more player so they could at least have a full five on the court... So I agreed to play, so long as they taught me. So that's what I did tonight, I learned to play basketball. And if running on that damn floor wasn't hard enough to do with shin splints, we can now add a swollen and bruised knee into the mix. I was guarding someone, and they went to go around me, and I as I stepped over we tripped each other, and I smashed my left knee into the ground. It's going to hurt like a mofo tomorrow... More so than it already does. mad

Popping a clutch is pretty easy. If it's a battery issue, then that should have worked no problem. If it didn't, then it may be something more serious.

Apparently the battery wasn't holding a charge or something. He ended up replacing it. As far as the popping the clutch thing, unfortunately, that was somewhat doomed from the start. He was so paranoid about the fact that two girls were pushing his car that he paid more attention to whether we would somehow get run over (of course we didn't) than actually doing it correctly. And the starter got replaced on the other car. No news on the third one.
