Leafheart followed after her apprentice and Nightsky to go hunting she ran forward and raced after them then caught up and past them she was the second fastest cat of the clans next to Snowystream.

Leafheart slowed down after her apprentices effort she licked Nightpaw on the top of the head and smiled amusedly.

nightpaw purred and breathed heavily.." wow your fast!" Nightpaw thought to herself someday ill be that fast maybe?

Nightpaw notices a mouse in some underbrush nearby. She drops into the hunting crouch, but not being trained well enough she steps on a twig and the mouse sees her and runs. Nightpaw runs after it, but i gets away. " Dang."

Moonstar returned from the gathering and immediately headed back to his den.

Leafheart pads deeper into the territory with ehr apprentice scenting a young rabbit she drops into the hunters crouch leaping and killing it she showed Nightpaw how to drop into the hunters crouch and creep forward.

Nightpaw observes her mentors hunting style! "ok i think i can do this" she says to herself! after a couple more minutes Nightpaw scents a squirrel. "ok keep quiet otherwise he'll hear you." she thinks to herself.
Nightpaw drops into the hunting crouch, and creeps up on the squirrel! Luckily the wind is towards her so the squirrel doesnt scent her till the last minute....but its to late....Nightpaw leaps on the squirrel and kills it with a quick blow!

"Great job!"Leafheart meows. She leads her apprentice deeper into waterclan territory she scents a mouse dropping into the hunters crouch the wind is blowing towards her she leaps and kills it with a swift bite to the back of the neck.

Leafheart burrows her kill also then waits for Nightpaw to finish burrowing hers then they go on and Leafheart meows "I guess i should show you the borders of the terriotry to."
