Storm was quiet for a moment, trying to figure out how to phrase it properly.
"Commitments and I...do not enjoy each other's compay. We try and avoid each other, truth be told, if it is at all possible. I shrug as a way of by passing that inevitable meeting at the crossroads.

Storm pulled up her legs infront of her and wraped an arm around them.
"But, you may be right. Then again, my brother and the crow girls are more then enough commitment for any sane being."

"Like being called screw up?" He asked pointedly. That was a sore spot aswell, after all, to poster and character alike.

[Ranu was telling him how there was good in Humans, and how he hd to just find it. It was pretty close to Sams dialoge to Frodo.]
Ranu twitched faintly, "Yeah," he said softly, "It went down wrong." He sat on the deck near enough to speak to Storm. "Oh well. I spoke of my old best friend. We went though the acadmey together, I helped where he slipped up mainly. When we left, his father got him a captaincy. He said he'd try and get me on his ship." Ranu looked down, "He did. It was the HMS Thunder."

Storm reached out reflexivly and squeezed Ranu's hand softly. Though the action surprised and was thoroughly unlike her, her voice was the same as always: cool, distant, and just haughtly enough to let you know she thought she was better then you.
