Xiraes stood a distance from the mansion, surveying it carefully. She had heard about it a few times, a covenant for rogue demons and vampires. Well, that's me now... she thought, and sighed inwardly. At first she had brushed off the thought of coming here completely, she hadn't needed any charity.
But she did.
Well, no use standing around. Cautiously, she approached the mansion. She sensed other presences, but no one around her. For a moment she wondered whether she should knock or let herself in. She smirked, and cracked open the heavy door.
"Hello?"
