"Hmmm... damage from the heat and light of the flames. The problem of the light can be deterred with some special glasses, but the heat is a whole problem in itself. I'm not sure how we'll be able to handle that aspect. As you said yourself, my treatment may only prove temporary, the treatment along with the special glasses I can have a friend of mine forge will slow the damage from the light, but the heat damage is something I can't account for. I know it may seem strange to you, but for every jutsu there is a oposite. I asume you've heard at least the rumors of the sun god's flames? Something that only manifests itself in the female Mangekyou users, of which I'm the first, there is a more gentle side to the Sun God's flame. These flames regenerate damage caused by just about anything including heat and light. The cost is that the areas affected really do feel as if they're being burned. The more damage that is to be repaired, then the longer the flames have to be applied. It's not exactly a pleasant process." Shisui sipped her tea watching the boy seeing if he was ready for such a radical form of treatment. Rin was quietly listening for once, ocasionally munching on a plate of crackers set in the middle of the table, for once showing a quieter side.

Koujin watched below, the armies and chimeras of his past were being revived, killing one man, no matter how powerful was a simple matter, but killing all of his subordinates, that was a matter he'd rather leave to the other armies. He watched them all below, those clones that were out of thanatos's range, were fighting these shadows of his past some of them attacking the hands desperately reaching up to him. As Thanatos charged forward Koujin only frowned, the fading sunlight framing his face. Had Thanatos realized that he and the other flying clones were not going to attack him from the air? Snowy white feathers would be falling around him as he rushed forward, he would slowly begin to realize that though he wasn't casting a shadow himself, that the numerous wings of the Koujin's in the air, were blocking the rays of the sun, casting the battlefield into darkness. Koujin pointed downward at Thanatos, the massive jaws of what seemed to be a monstrous angler fish, rising around him, the clones, the arms and the conjured spirits. The jaws would close and begin to sink back into the inky darkness, letting the strangely conjured beast draw him back to where it came would not be a good idea.

Koukon stared at the tea leaves floating in his cup. When he had just learned to breed flames as a young boy, he was constantly burning himself by accident. Progressively he grew immune to this to the point where he could be surrounded by an aura of fire and not be affected. If it was a physical effect of the fire, Koukon could take it easily but if it was perceived pain, he knew it would be more painful than anything he had ever known. Amaterasu. The excruciating pain must be another punishment for using the power of the gods. Right now it was Koukon's only option. Worse case scenario would be that he went through the pain for nothing. He was already blind so it wasn't like his vision could get any worse. Koukon was so obsessed with getting his sight back. "I'll do it" he said without looking up.

As Yuan entered the shop his attention would be drawn to the strange creature standing behind the counter. It seemed almost to be made of rags of shadow, tattered and ever morphing, it's eyes on long stalks swiveled to look at the man. "Shoo... go away... no one here." it waved razor like claws at Yuan in a gesture that would seem to indicate that Yuan should leave the shop and look for whatever he was looking for elsewhere.

Back at Izumo inn. Shisui nodded, it had been a while since she had a patient that warrented the severity of this treatment. "Now, come with me, we'll have to get you out of those clothes and into the baths before we can begin the main treatment." she stood up the consultation over and looked down at her young daughter. "Rin-chan, you know, you should go get some of the blue flowers from by the lake. " she leaped up happy that she could be of help to her mother in one of her complex healing tratments. She was gone before anything else could be said. Shisui stood up and began leading Koukon deeper into the large inn. She would lead him to a large bathroom with a wide tub already filled with bubbling water, a fireseal springing to life below the floor. "This will help cleanse your body and prepare you for the treatment. Relax for this might be the only easy part..." and with that, the mysterious woman was gone leaving the firey boy too rest and clean himself a bit.

"You've actually surprised me in this, but there's no way to beat me, not the way you are now." The shadows of his other selves casting his face into darkness, giving him a darker more sinister look as the shockwave broke over koujin the attack was absorbed within his body as he internalized the chakra using a skill he learned as a part of the Akatsuki. There was a slight glint from within his clothes as the pendant around his neck glowed for a moment, then Thanatos would find himself suspended in a near sea of darkness. It was that dark orb from before, the one that had robbed him of his sight and hearing before, but this time combined with the powers of the darkness the orb had becom solid in a sense. The only problem with this dark orb was that it was a artificial darkness created by the pendant, it couldn't be dispelled or reduced by light, the combination of his indigo pendant was his absolute defense, unimpregnable and undefeated.Thanatos would be cast out of the sphere by the darkness.

Yuan stood looking at the odd thing behind the counter for a moment... a rather confused frown on his face and a rather appropriate bead of sweat running down his forehead. This was a somewhat odd creature... If it was a creature. Hard to say since it seemed to be covered in rags. After a moment, Yuan seemed to open his mouth as if to say something, then thought better of it and turned to leave as instructed. Yuan walked out of the shop and was greeted by the sight of a young girl running across the street from a large building, down a hill, towards a lake. Yuan followed, his Akatsuki cloak billowing in the wind. He watched from the top of the hill as the girl seemed to pick some flowers and herbs, then ran back towards him. He smiled as she approached. Seeming to intend to talk to her.

In the last few weeks, Dawn an Knight had been incogneto, resting up and preparing their next move. They needed some powerful jutsu, they wanted to be ANBU. They now sat on the boat from Hidden Leaf to Hidden Nano. They had heard about this village from some ninja in Hidden Leaf, and as it seems the place was very laid back. They said that attack is almost aslways going on due to the laid backness of the villages inhabiants. They boat ride, was like Nano, laid back. Easy going and no boat rocking waves. It, unlike many of the boat rides that twins had been one was acually enjoyable. They were quite relaxed. Perhaps it was the aroma of all the flowers around them, all growing on the banks of the river they traveled up. Maybe it was the low hanging sun, with it's lazy heat that seemed to deter any one from wanting to move. Dawn's finger trailed in the water as he hung over the side of the boat, resoulute in his task of attracting little fish to his wake. Knight was lounging back in his chair, exorbing as much sun as possible. He wanted to get darker. No reason in particular. It wouldn't hurt with the ladies. But thinking, that thought was silly, considering he wanted to be an ANBU, whose like is destined behind a mask, taking no glory. He smiled at his relization and turned to look over at his brother. Dawn was much more used to laying about and doing nothing, Knight on the other hand needed adventure.

The Boat begun to slow down and insticntfully, both brothers looked up. They were in the bay of Hidden Nano. Knight moved to the boarding ramp immediatly. Dawn stayed put, knowing that it would be like ten more minutes until they reached the port, and the crew would take another ten getting the boat docked and finally coming to realease them on to the flowery shores of Hidden Nano. Once the proceedure came to a close, Dawn finally stood and walked off, after Knight of course, who had been patiently watiting for the high part of half an hour. They stepped on to the beach and begun their treck to the Villages border. They say the sign that signalled the town line and they crossed into it, officially entering Hidden Nano. As they walked to the village a head of them, Knight began to wonder what kind of jutsu they had. Some of them had to be flower related, there were flowers every where around them. He turned to ask Dawn what he thought. Thinking about it, he stopped and just kept walking. Dawn would say I do not know and tell him to keep walking. So instead of wasting that time, he just did as his inmaginary conversation played out, kept walking. At this time the two Kon twins entered the village.

They walked up and down the flowery streets, smelling the wonderful scents and admiring the rich furnishings of the town. It was a very rich village, how, they knew not. If they were under attack all the time, Knight and Dawn wondered how they amassed money if they needed to constantly repair their village. They headed down the main strip and entered a hotel, that was wondefully furnished and empty. They figured it was empty because no one would want to visit a village that is always in ruin. There room was on the first floor in a giant room with many acessories, needed and non needed. It was an amazing sight. The place was the cleanest the twins have ever seen. They placed their few belongings down and headed back outside, eager to begin their training in this new and alien village. If they could not learn something today, they were surely failures. The sun was still out side high in the sky and they had plenty of time for ninja jutsu and activities. They headed for the towns center and encountered what most centers had, buissness and people doing theirs. There were many weapon stores, and that was to be expected with the village always under attck. There was a group of ninja sitting at the court yard side. They headed over there. "Hey, do you guys know where we can learn some new jutsu?" The ninja looked up at the Kon twins as if to see if they could potentially be dangerous. When they took their look and deemed them not a threat, they nodded their heads and motioned for them to follow. The twins did as comanded and headed to the clearing used for training with the Hidden Nano ninja.

WHen they got to the clearing the ninja stopped and turned to face them. They once again looked the Kons up and down as if to double check their choice, and re-assure themelves that they were making the right choice. Apparently this dicision was like the last one. They unanimously agreeded that the sound ninja could cause no harm and could benefit from the jutsu they had to teach them. "Well welcome to Hidden Nano," Said one of the silent ninja, breaking the silence, "Here we are friendly to most but we have to be wary of attackers for they tend to show up alot." Knight and Dawn nodded, signaling that they under stand the precautions taken against them for the safety of their village. If in the same position, Dawn and Knight would do the same to every one they met. It was under standable. Nothing comes over one's village, no even custom or politness. "Well what do you have to teach us Nano ninja?" Asked Knight trying not to sound like a jerk. His attempt did not work and Dawn shot him a look of disgust. "I appologize for my brother, he is quite rude when he does not think before he speaks." The nano ninja smiled, but Dawn could tell they didn't like his brother's comment at all.

"Well, I will try not to delay your learning any more than necesary. The jutsu we have to teach you is called similing ice. It will freeze the air molecules above you, and create big sheets of ice like mirrors. These will reflect the light from the sun and create little explosions that can harm the enemy. Of course this jutsu will not work when there is no sun. Also the ice won't last long in a warm enviroment. They should appear but melt due to temperature. Over all though, it is a very impresive jutsu and I think you will be happy to know it." Dawn thought about the jutsu he was about to learn. It was an interesting jutsu, and harvesting a permanent energy sourse like the sun was a very good idea as well. It would not run out, or any time soon as well. Knight thought about the jutsu and how he can use it to cause an break in, in broad day light. He could use it for killing too with no evidence left behind. It was a good killing jutsu. ANBU needed to be killers too. They looked on after thinking to show they were ready to learn the jutsu. The ninja nodded and the one in the middle stepped up and ran threw the just hand seals a few times until they got it down. Then he told them to focus on where they want the jutsu mirrors in the sky. They would stay aloft on their own so they had nothing to worry about.

They got the jutsu down and headed back to town. They begun to walk threw the streets again until Dawn stopped, petrified it seemed. Knight turned to look at his statue esque brother and followed his eyes to the cause of the sudden pause. He would have stopped as well. The paper poster on the wall said in big blue letter: Chunnin exams. The brother bubbled over with excitment. They would be one step closer to becoming ANBU if they passed the chunnin exams. To be an ANBU one must become a Chunnin first, the step up from Gennin, which they now were. The exams would be hard, and they could see many people had already signed up. They knew none but that didn't worry them for they just needed to be one of the ones who passed. They instantly begun to think about what they could do to get the edge over the compettion. One thing they had above all other was each other. No other ninja had another real copy. All other would have to use bunshin jutsu to get to where they were. Knight suggested one of the brothers hide in the other until the time was right to emerge and surprise the enemy. They could looked out for each other, like eyes in the back of their head. Of use jutsu under the cloak with hands behind their back while the other reacts to it. It would be a good intimidation technique. Knight's mind then hopped to Hell raider, and how they could use it to win the exams quickly. Dawn disagreeded with the tactic and had to agree if they wanted to do that to save it for the last round, to be sure they win either way.

They watched the list and formulated plans until soon it was night time. They looked around and noticed that every one was gone. They wandered the streets in mystery, the place was frightnening at night. They made it back to the hotel and knocked on the door to be admitted. They looked into the window and saw the employees looking out at them with their weapons in hand. "Go away attackers, or we will kill you. We, the people of Hidden Nano are tired of your attacks." Dawn and Knight showed that they were un armed by holding their hands up to the window. Then they pointed at the computer to show that they were logged into it and that they were residents for the night. The employees opened them opened the door and they appologized many times, hoping that the two sound ninja twins wouldn't report them to the village. Dawn and Knight would not, they were too nice for that. They instead offered to keep quiet for their money back but keep the room free. The quickly agreeded and showed them to it. They slept the night and in the morning checked out. They had the jutsu they wanted and now it was time to leave. They thanked the hotel people and headed to the docks. Hidden Nano was an interesting place, and they needed to return soon. But training, like always, dragged them else where so that they could learn even more new and diverse jutsu.

Taking the gun from this male, Thantos slowly nods his head. Beads of sweat dripping from his brow as he looks it over. Despite the fact that he had been in this entire battle for an armor. He had received an even more useful item instead, something that was a gun. A weapon rather unused in the shinobi world, and even more dangerous then most things that he may come across. With a slight grin forming on his pale features he lets the gun come to rest at his side. He would work on a way to conceal the weapon later on. "I must say. You're a worthy opponent. And even if I was not granted such a gift, I would have come back to face you again. If only for the sport of it." Thantos says with a grin, as he extends a hand outwards, in order to shake Koujin's. He would accept this token, and those abilities that came with it in order to become stronger. And one day he may show up, to fight once again and perhaps gain the armor he was seeking. "Thank you. I'll be sure to make good use of this weapon, and master it before I track you down again." He says, as he chuckles lightly to himself. Even though he had lost, he had still gained something that was useful to him. And that was a good enough reason to leave for the time being.

Rin watched the strange man leave, she was just about to go say hi to him and see if she could get him to pick flowers with her, but then he vanished she went back to gathering the flowers slightly crestfallen.

"It will take you some time to reaclimate to seeing and I won't be able to let you go outside the inn for the next three days, but after that point we will have to get your eyes used to the sunlight, but yes, if there are no comlication you should still be able to participate. You'll look after my daughter won't you? She insists on participating and she inherited her father's determination so I don't think I can really stop her." Shisui was standing outside of the bathroom waiting paitiently for her patient. "If your done and think your ready we can continue with the next part. This would be your last chance to turn back."
