James straightened up when the man said something about Seth Genesis. Was he a super? James needed some type of proof so he could go tell the PSO and collect some pay.

Somehow she doubt that. Sure, he may have liked her originally, she couldn't create emotions only increase them in volume. But the only reason why he liked her so much, is because the nagging buzz that surronded her every waking second of every day. Of course, she couldn't tell him that.
She just gave a light shrug of her shoulders. She really wasn't acting like the person she was trying to portray. But screw that, who cared?
"So, about this group. Any positions open?" She asked changing the subject easily.
Bobby looked around. He didn't see Erica anywhere, but Ora was standing near the door, next to a big guy in a white mask. RJ was at the bar, talking with some guy. Blitz was nowhere in sight. "I don't see anyone you could talk to about it right now."
"Okay then," She said, her voice fairly neutral, though in truth she was annoyed with his answer. It made her feel, as if he was lying to her. Then, that could also be her perspective of heroes, the ones that always let them (her) down.
"Was that why you wanted to go to dinner, or were their other reasons?" She questioned again.

Blumoo 5ilver 5treak Bobby looked around. He didn't see Erica anywhere, but Ora was standing near the door, next to a big guy in a white mask. RJ was at the bar, talking with some guy. Blitz was nowhere in sight. "I don't see anyone you could talk to about it right now."
"Okay then," She said, her voice fairly neutral, though in truth she was annoyed with his answer. It made her feel, as if he was lying to her. Then, that could also be her perspective of heroes, the ones that always let them (her) down.
"Was that why you wanted to go to dinner, or were their other reasons?" She questioned again.
"There's only one reason I asked you to dinner, and it has nothing to do with heros or villains or anything like that. It was because I wanted to be with you." He looked around again. "As to the other subject, there are four people that I know of - two aren't here, and the other two are busy. That can change at any time."

RJ laughed, "Are you?" "Hard to put out for someone who isn't willing to let me put it in, isn't it?" Eric replied with a grin. RJ shook her head, and chuckled, "well, violets, you may want to get something else from the menu there, right now this one's got to work." She turned to James and gave him a friendly smile, "We have all kinds of drinks here, even blood, but you have to get that yourself and from a nieghbor, with an empty tequila bottle." Eric chuckled, listening to her talk to James. "That's quote fine, I can wait until you get off the clock."

She nodded lightly, glancing around the club for a bit before turning his gaze back on him, okay, to hell with it. "Do you normally feel really attracted to someone after only spending one day with them?" She was guessing no. From what she knew, liking someone especially extremely or excessively took a lot of time. But those circumstances seemed to change when she was involved.

Did you know someone by the name of Seth Genesis?" hekeeps his eyes watching hers to see if she will lie to him again. One thing great about growing up in a place filled with liars, you learn how to easily tell when someone is lying especially if their bad at it.(heh heh, Ruby's not bad at it, she's good, very good, but the face structure from the picture should be enough to know, along with her basic height/build description) Clair smiled, "Some kind of game system back in the old days, right?" She felt a little tug of sorrow in her heart at the mention of seth, her smile faltering for a whisper of a second."I see you haven't figured out that you can't lie to my easily. I know you know Seth I could see that you recognized the name very well by the look n your eyes and the weak smile when you tried to fool me and I thinkyou'll be glad to know that I know were he is and I'm a messenger of sorts from him" he says with a sly smile hidden by his mask.

Deven wakes up and sets his chair back firmly on the ground. can't beleive I fell asleep. He lifts up his cap and looks around for a moment then starts thinking about ordering a drink.

Xeen Soldevi Eric chuckled, listening to her talk to James. "That's quote fine, I can wait until you get off the clock." "You do that, Violets." She chuckled, and gave a glance over at the masked fellow and Clair, wondering absently if she should interupt.

"No he is far from alright." Loki pauses and loks his eyes with Clair's. He hope her reaction to his next words will be satisfactory. "Seth is dead, murdered by mimics." He whispers to her.

Clair's immediately fell into an expression of deep sorrow. She glanced at nothing in particular, and shook her head softly as she whispered more to herself than anyone else. "Seth, you silly demon. Should've stayed together, we both woulda been safer for it."
She wiped at her eyes as a few tears came involuntarily.

Eulalia Danae Clair's immediately fell into an expression of deep sorrow. She glanced at nothing in particular, and shook her head softly as she whispered more to herself than anyone else. "Seth, you silly demon. Should've stayed together, we both woulda been safer for it."
She wiped at her eyes as a few tears came involuntarily. "Seth decided he could take the mimics' leader himself. His plan backfired and I found him barely clinging to life he kept talking about failing his daughter by dying and letting his friends down by leaving. he died an hour after I found him. The poor b*****d." Loki shakes his head feigning sadness.

Clair, let out a shaking breath, "he prob'ly saved me in the end, if he hadn't distracted that mimic, I'd have prob'ly taken the creature on by myself, an' died for it. I was so angry back then, self destructive, hateful." She shook her head, "he didn't fail me, he didn't." Her southern accent began peeking through as she spoke.
