Hmmmm...
Should I use a Nurgle attributed Chaos lord/Majority and a unit or two of Noise Marines or should I use a Slaanesh attributed Chaos lord/Majority and only employ a few favored units of Death Guard?

Anyone else find it funny that in the Book of Nurgle in the CSM codex, it shows a Death Guard Marine with a Heavy Bolter, when Heavy Bolters are not allowed in Death Guard armies...

Drachyench_The_Eternal Anyone else find it funny that in the Book of Nurgle in the CSM codex, it shows a Death Guard Marine with a Heavy Bolter, when Heavy Bolters are not allowed in Death Guard armies... We can have them. Just we can't have them on DEDICATED Nurgle units. If they would be undedicated they can. Nothing to say undedicated marines won't be seen with nurgle loyalists.

Seeing as how my Necron force is pretty much finished, I've been thinking of starting a Chaos Marine army. However, I'm not sure which branch of chaos to get into. I am more inclined to chose a Death Guard army, mainly because I like the idea of bloated, dead looking Plague Marines as my troops. So what I'd like to know is, just how good can a Death Guard army get, and what kind of tactics do they utilise to win? Anyone?

Next, they always count as having an additional hand weapon, but never get the charge bonus. Talk to others about this more though As I've rarely used or seen Death Guard be used...

SonicBlaster,SonicBlaster,SonicBlaster,SonicBlaster,BlastMaster
Frag Grenades,Infiltrate
Power Fist, Bolt Pistol, Demonic Strength, Spikes, Combat Drugs, Master Crafted Power Fist.
Rhino: Search Lights, Smoke Launchers, Extra Armour.
The Power Fists Are The Same, But Meaning The Power Fist Was Master Crafted.
