I'd probably greenstuff it myself. But that's only because I have more experience there.

And here I was thinking of cutting all the joints, reposing, then pinning and greenstuffing the gaps. sweatdrop

Pfft. N00b.
But in all seriousness, how well does resin hold without pinning on a model that size? I don't imagine it'd be too complex, either.

Resin also isn't that heavy and seems to react well with most glue. Also with glue and your fingers.
But anyhow, long ago I built a wartrukk out of a classic Ork resin battlewagon (the thing that holds less than six models and has no visible drivers) and a Dark Eldar Ravager, and the weakest joints are between plastic and plastic. Resin-on-resin and resin-on-plastic work out beautifully, no matter what rigours I put it through.

Apparantly, you have to wash the resin pieces really well, and then prime them in car paint because ir holds better. They use a special lubricant to get the moulds off the pieces, so that ends up being a problem for paint and anything else that goes on afterwards.

How come all the new models (DR Exarch, Farseers, special character and now this) are all on some form of rubble or object? Also, hosting from GW is against their rules.

yo_momma117 maybe guardian prefers the avatar to have some love handles and a bit of weight on him...a fat and lazy couch potato if you will *snorts* that thing does not look very intimidating. The old one did, smaller, but he had the right shape to scare someone. If I was fighting that thing Id either ignroe it or put it out of it;'s misery. As with the old one I'd get rid of ASAP. thats my own personal opinion on the new Avatar. if you dont like then kiss my native butt.l

-Mykal In this case I believe the singer is on bone. Maybe its some cool ice man effect, making bone and traveling on it as it moves forward. Who knows, either way it looks badass.
