Yep. I live in Florida. Disney is about the only thing I really like about it. blaugh Thanks, I'd like to think I have a fighting spirit. Of course my boyfriend is helping me a lot. He's been wonderful. He was there when I had my surgery and he held my hand the whole time I was in recovery and the he stayed overnight in the hospital with me. biggrin heart He didn't want to leave my side. I love him so much I really don't know where I'd be without him. Sept 1st will be our 8 month anniversary! xd We are still going strong. He's the one. I feel it with every fiber of my being. He makes me so happy! So Kita, anything interesting happening with you? question

Man, you guys make me feel like an infant.
I got a job but I'm not too fond of it. I'm going to stick around a while and hope it gets better but if not I'm out. I need managers who will actually listen to my needs. Other new things.....Not a whole lot I can think of, we got a new computer cuz the old one crashed. This is tragic news since everything of importance on the old computer is gone.

It just makes you wonder what would be considered "important", Monk. Think of it as giving you a chance to start fresh and begin anew? I still haven't found a job. I'm such a freakin' slacker. confused I am going back to school though, so that's good... right?
Rose: That's wonderful to hear. It shows that you two care very deeply for each other. I think that the situation allowed for his true feelings to show through quite honorably. heart

Maybe. Life just feels to full these days. Also it's incredibly out of control and I dunno what to do with myself anymore.

I think it might be a good time to sit down and sort out what is going on in your life at present then, Monk. Write it all down and see what needs to be done first and foremost to gain back some of the control. You're very strong when it comes to life and I know you'll figure it out. blaugh
Rose: Might I ask what drew you to him in the first place? Was it instant attraction or did you get to know him before the crush set in?

I'm not in control though Kita, like it's a situation I'm being part of not by my choice. And the other situation is just me showing off my "brilliance."

Was it instant attraction or did you get to know him before the crush set in? Well Kita, the funny thing is I've known him since 8th grade. I really disliked him because he kept picking on me. It turns out he had the biggest crush on me. Boys huh? blaugh Then all throughout highschool he was still crushing on me but didn't have the courage to tell me. We became friends but we weren't that close.Once I knew his true feelings I got scared because I didn't want to get into another relationship so soon. Because I had just ended one and was still hurting from that. But he helped me through that and I helped him with some of his problems. We became good friends. I really got to know him and developed feelings for him. He was so good to me just as a friend that I decided to give him a chance. I finally after all the times I turned him down decided not to let fear control me and I told him I would go out with him. It's the best thing I ever did. mrgreen heart

Gallbadder removed at 23? That must of sucked though I'm glad to hear your boyfriend was there to help you out.
I'm myself have not gone through surgery (except for removing my tonsils XD) though I am rather odd medically speaking. I have graves disease which is very odd for me to have since it happens normally in women around 20 to 30 years-old. I was 16 when I was diagnosed with it. It is very rare to be diagnosed in a 16 year old boy. My brother is also a rarity in the medical field. He had kawasaki disease when he was 10. 80% of cases are in children ages 5 and younger.
By the way, I'm vincent(gotta love usernicknames XD). I frequent the "new member" forum.

Monk, you can become in control. You just have to think about how to make it happen. Some like to ride the waves and others like to make them themselves! You are one that will make them, I just know it!
Rose: That sounds so very sweet. Being friends first is very important. You really have to get to know the person to see if they will fit into your life fully. It sounds like he does a wonderful job of it. smile

Ugh, I wish girls would do more of the asking. I hate all the drama that goes with asking someone out. Right now my life is an utter mess. There's not a lot going for me but I pull along anyways because....well I guess I just like to look stronger than all of this.
