Awww, Goldeye, I think you should confront your friend ASAP because it can worsen. It's more like if shes a true friend then she will tell you what's going on, and she will tell you why her parents act the way they act. But if she doesn't give a reason then I guess she may not really want to be a friend of yours.
When it's only the both of you, does she act like a real friend?

I don't mind. At the moment nothing's wrong, but last night when I left to go to youth group I was supposed to pick up a friend(not the one who's parents hate me, a different one), it turned out that she had completely spaced and was at a different friend's house and about to eat dinner. She called today and told me she was really really really sorry, though, so I'm okay about that now. Yesterday was a bad day, but today is getting better. That's why I said "I guess" instead of just "fine".

Goldeye I don't mind. But if she doesn't give a reason then I guess she may not really want to be a friend of yours. When it's only the both of you, does she act like a real friend? Yes, which is the reason I'm still her friend. That and the fact that last year when her family was having problems, I was the friend who was always there for her, which I know now has something to do with why her parents hate me. Go figure.

I don't like crying in front of people, which is why I waited until I got to a hidden place about a third of a mile from the place my friends were before I allowed myself to start crying. I usually only cry late at night in my room whenever I cry.
