I love Fushigi Yugi my favorite character has to be chichiri my dad saw a couple of ep and now when he feels like it he says no da after each of his sentences

Yay! Fushigi Yuugi is my favorite of Watase's works.
My favorite would have to be Tasuki, hands down. Really, I didn't think I really liked Nuriko too much until he died. Then I realized he was one of my favorites!! So sad...
I really really like the Suzaku Seven. Well, okay, for some reason Chiriko really annoys me (I don't like child characters) but I love all the rest.
I loved Amiboshi so much!! Why did he have to be one of the Seiryu Seven? Furthermore, why did he have to die?! (his twin brother is a little too homocidal for me to like him too much. Can't forgive him for murdering Tamahome's family in cold blood)

Fushigi Yuugi is also one of my favorite works by Yuu Watase! I love Chichiri though, I think it's cool that he wears a mask but when he takes it off, there's a story underneath... and umm.. he's kind of handsome if you ignore the funky blue hair! domokun
