(Maybe you're turning into SpiderMan ._. )

".. So sorry for forgetting," 'Ellian' replied indignantly, scrunching his nose. "Well, I want to continue through town after we buy what we need and camp in the forest. It'll be fun." Or at least he thought it would be. Spotting what looked to be one of the best produce stands, he tugged on Sayael's sleeve and veered toward it. "Here. This stuff looks yummy." Aside from regular fruits and meats being displayed, a variety of decorated desserts and such sat about.

((xD Jillian was such a cry baby...))
He lead Isfahel to the spot Dax had indicated and stared down at the sweet. His mouth instantly started to water as he caught sight of what appeared to be a dessert made with some sort of very good honey. And strawberries. "So, what do you want?" he asked, snapping his eyes away from the honeyed wonder.

"Oh, I don't know, honey," Dax said, unable to supress a grin. He had watched on in silence as Sayael stared cravingly at the sweetened foods. "Definitely not anything like that." He pointed directly at the strawberry-honey dessert. "I mean, you did tell me you were going to lay off the sweets, right? Another way we could 'watch our budget'?"

Sayael fixed a venemous glare on Dax. "Why, I don't remember saying any such thing," he said, words as vehement as his glare. It was obvious that anyone who tried to stand between him and his beloved sweets was in for a not so pleasant experience.

And Dax's bright smile remained stuck in place even with the other's intimidating glare. "But you wouldn't want to lose your handsomely fit figure," he returned, hooking his arm with Sayael's own. "Why don't you try some of the healthier foods while I look at the sweets."

"Do you have a death wish?" he muttered in the other's ears, his glare just as intense as before. He was not at all happy and it was all Dax's fault. "Maybe you should look at the health food while I look at other women," he muttered under his breath. There was no was he was going to let Dax stop him from eating his sweets.

Would he consider it a good thing he was close enough to hear that? Maybe not. Jerking his arm out of Sayael's, he returned the glare just as hard. "Fine!" he said, none too quietly. "Get your stupid honey dessert and find yourself a fat, new wife to eat it with! I don't care." He stomped back over to Jacqueline and pulled himself up into the saddle, leaving the shopkeeper blinking in a stunned curiosity.

Sayael, after a long, yearning glance at the honey dessert followed after Dax. "Oh, come on. You don't even know the way," he protested as the other clambered back onto his horse. "I was only joking," he murmured, looking downand looking exceedingly put-out.

Dax looked down at Sayael like any stuck-up noble would look at a bothersome peasant. "Well, it definitely didn't sound like any joke to me," he said. "And I could find my own way if I really needed to." Both hands gripped the reigns tightly as he adjusted his seating. "Why don't you just.. buy the food already so we can leave." He tore his eyes away from the other. Though he was upset, for some reason he didn't like seeing him like that.

"Don't eben know why you're so worked up about this," he muttered under his breath. "It's not like you're my realy wife." He was speaking quietly enough so that only the other prince would be able to hear him. "Anyway, if I buy it now it'll fall apart before I can eat it... and it's too sticky to carry," he mumbled, pouting and suddenly looking just as childish as he had earlier when he had worn his own appearance.

The realization hit him. No, he wasn't actually Sayael's wife, but for some reason his threat to find someone else got to him. Maybe he could convince himself he was just getting too into character. "Alright! Enough already," Dax said helplessly, sliding back off the horse in front of the other. "If I have them wrap it up for you so it won't fall apart, will you stop making that face?"

"Thank you~~!" he said happilly, brightening considerably even to the point that he leaned over slightly and gave the other a small peck on the cheek before hurrying back to the stall that sold the sweets. The man seemed to have expected him and wrapped the desired sweet up quickly before handing it to the prince with a smile. Sayael returned, looking imensly pleased, setting the pasty carefully in a side compartment of his bag before leading Isfahel on.

((See? Childish. e.e I think all the Kara manhwa I've been reading lately is rubbing off on me because I'm imagining Sayael in little pictures in my brain. xD
Kara = Korean manga-ka. Wrote Demon Diary and Angel Diary, which are both hillarious.))

(And he was originally intended to be a b*****d, huh? XDD)

Dax blushed slightly, yet was growing used to the idea that as a couple such displays were perfectly normal. Growling lightly in his throat, he stroked Jacqueline's nose as Sayael retrieved the pastry. Well, at least the other had good taste in desserts -if not, a little too crazed over his honey. "About done, my mood-swinging husband?"

((... Yup. I doubt anyone here will ever be able to take him seriously again. ._.;; Kinda like me after i watched the music video for "Sing" (by Travis). I mean, come on! A whole bunch of rich people having a food fight and this woman throws an octopus and it lands on a man's head. o_O;;
But anyway!! He most likely will show his inner nearlyevilness later. When it matters.
But he is very impulsive and childish, especially when he is with people he trusts (or nearly trusts. Or if he's just too lazy to be serious. Or doesn't feel like it.). He is very "do what I want." xD ))

"Uh-huh," he said happily. "And I got two so you wouldn't complain later," he added after a moment. His fingers slipped slightly in the silky mane of his noble steed and Isfahel, obviously protesting this gross mistreatment of his long hairs, snorted slightly, nudging the side of Sayael's face with his own.

After he had sorted out arguments with his loyal companion, he turned back to 'Ellian' and said, "Let's walk together - keep close so we don't lose each other," he said brightly. That was, of course, completely unnessesary, considering their horses, but he had seen some men looking at 'Ellian' in a way that made him feel extremely posessive.
