Vic shakes Jaeger's hand and grins.

"It's good to be home, and to know that the ladies still love smooth Vic... *ahem* Er... I mean, just the opposite, actually."

Sinking into one of the couches, Vic spreads his arms along the back, waiting for anyone who is willing to take a seat.

"Like I said when I first contacted you, we've been watching you very closely. We've seen your accomplishments, and we've been impressed by what we've seen. I came here today to thank you all for the outstanding jobs you've done and to let you know that I want you to stay together as a team. As the New Teen Titans.

Vic pauses, for dramatic effect.

"But, I know this isn't something to take lightly. As you've already seen, it's a dangerous job, and your life can and will be on the line. I want you to take the decision seriously, and I also want you to know that I'm confident in ALL of your abilities and that I have faith in you. You CAN do this, otherwise I wouldn't be asking."

Again, for dramatic effect. What's with this guy?

"So... who am I welcoming to the family?"

*Nightingale surveyed the new arrival with a small amount of intrest. It was interesting to see one of the original Titans. She was too tired to think standing up though, so she went and plopped down on the couch.*

Wow become a real titan?

Neo looked down at her hands she knew it wasn't going to be easy. The chances were that the other threats to come were probably going to be a lot worse. There were a lot of thoughts going through her head but she made up her mind.

"Well I want to be part of the team."

Kimiko who had already been looking across at vic couldn't believe what he had just asked them. "a real titan," she said looking down at her feet. what else did she have to loose or where else could she go. "i'm in!" she said with a smile her face still a little smudged from the smoke from the fire.

*Nightingale’s head drooped and she almost fell asleep. Even in the presence of Vic, she was beat. But before sleep, she had to patch up her bleeding cuts. She went over to where she kept some of her stuff, including bandages created by her for her. They were black and, like her suit, had a small amount of protection against light. She sat on the end of the couch again, and started wrapping up a long cut on her arm. Again, not one for many words she just decided to disclose her name to Vic.*

Nightingale.

"Where's Ameko?" Vic smirks, "That's a weirder name than 'Jaeger Ayers."

Vic mock-socks Jaeger in the shoulder and takes another look at the group, battle-weary and in some cases injured. He takes a moment to smile at Neo.

"I'm glad to hear you want to be part of the team. There's no doubt in my mind that ALL..." Vic takes a second to belabor the point by looking at each member of the group. "...of you have the skill, dedication and heart to do it. But, it looks like y'all have had a rough day and I'm a little beat myself from gallavanting around the galaxy. How about I give you some time to rest and we'll meet back up in the morning."

Standing up from the couch, cereal bowl in hand, Vic smiles at the group, more than a little bit of pride in his eye.

"If anybody wants to visit, I'll be in the guest room at the end of the hall. The one with the combo only I know... and the jacuzzi tub. Otherwise, I'll see y'all in the morning. Rest up. You did a whole lot of good out there."


Vic disappears behind the guest room door, leaving the team to exchange wary glances.

"JACUZZI TUB!?"

Yoh

Yoh turned around and rubbed his dogs head and Yoh wounds started to heal one by one. Yoh stood up and stretched "im beat"then he just dozed off on the couch since he didn't have a room to sleep in............

Kimiko stood up and yawned, she smiled at every one and said," well good night i'm tired so i guess i'll wash up and see you later." she began to walk towards her room.
