I'm planning to go see Memoirs of a Geisha tomorrow maybe...I have the book, I just haven't read it yet. My Christmas was ok...mostly expansion of books on my shelf, which is just perfect for me. razz

I went and saw Memoirs of a Geisha last night, and you were right, it was a good movie. I'll definitely buy it when it comes out on DVD. I want to learn how to do that flip the fan thing...that was awesome...

Definitely...and all those lovely little twirls and fancy throws? Forget that...it'd take ages to teach me to do that...
I still think it's a miracle they can use their version of heels...mostly because the sandal version of high heels back then didn't have the front part touching the ground...so you'd be unbalanced and floating in the air...my friend decided the heavy weight of the kimono bow in back kept them balanced... xd

hey y'all! i was in this fourm on new years and i recrutied a girl (sorta) sh checked out the guild and all and i think shes gonan join!!!! we might have a new novice or accepted!!! ya she saw my name and said "that wouldnt happen to be WHeel of time whould it?" WHOO HOO!!!

Not funny. You talking about Memoirs of a Geisha made me want to see it aswell. But, as far as I could find out it is only coming to Holland the 2nd of March. That's so far in the future crying .

Mirren Not funny. You talking about Memoirs of a Geisha made me want to see it aswell. But, as far as I could find out it is only coming to Holland the 2nd of March. That's so far in the future crying . same here! sweatdrop i dont even have the 11th book yet!!!! it wont come out here untill its in paper back!!!! my mom saposedly ordered it and it is appsoed to come with someone but they never came!!!!!!!!!!!! sad

That's so far in the future crying . That's insane...I couldn't wait that long....are you close enough to the border so that, I dunno, you could cross into a neighboring country who gets it faster? My friend told me he gets it in theatres Jan. 28th.

Those shoes she had in that dance on the stage, the like omgi'dkillmyselfinthose type of shoes, notice how she didn't really pick up her feet and shuffled instead? Man that dance was nifty.
Those fan things (moves) were nifteh too!
