Being tossed out the ring, Mason rolled and hit the barricade. He sat up with his back against it, looking into the ring as Triple H taunted him. Infuriating him, he would jump to his feet and attempt to get back into the ring. However, Mason would be stopped by multiple referees. Looking into the ring at Hunter, Mason would yell obscure things at him as the referees dragged him towards the entrance side of the ring. Mason would push away the referees and make his way backstage after a tremendous effort, eliminating both John Cena and Roman Reigns

Triple H was also in a corner, looking over to see Shinsuke and Sting, eyeing them both, as he would bring himself to his feet.

Getting back into the ring, Shinsuke would see Triple H across the ring. He would taunt him, begging him to bring it. "COME ONNNNN!"

Not taking the taunt so lightly, Triple H wouldn't use that as an intimidation factor. Triple H would approach Shinsuke quickly with a right hand!

"Oh, oh, Shawn!" "Sexy Boy (V2)" by Jimmy Hart and J.J. Maguire would hit the PA System without any countdown and the crowd exploded in cheers as they all knew that that theme song only belonged to one person, the Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels! And out he would come, stopping on stage with an angered facial expression and microphone in hand. He raised the mic to his lips and began to speak as his theme faded away. "I was originally supposed to be the 23rd entrant of this Royal Rumble and technically I still am but TRIPLE H-- Shawn would point to his former D-Generation X partner inside the ring. "attacked me backstage before I could make my entrance and took my spot." Shawn kept talking while walking down the ramp, rightfully putting himself in the match. "But sadly for him, I got back up, and I'm out here now to reclaim my spot." The crowd cheers as the showstopper made his entrance. He dropped the Mic and reached the end of the stage and slid in the ring immediately attempting to take Triple H's head off with a huge Sweet Chin Music outta nowhere, sending him over the top rope!
