(And back to the safe haven we go!)

-She practically raced Minty down the hall and back to the safe room, feeling a little re-energized by their good luck in getting the power fixed and a good chunk of grunnies taken out. There were grunnies around to be sure, but with the lights back on and most of them in boxes, all save a few had taken the hint and were staying out of the pair's way-

-When she got to the door, she glanced around once just to make sure there were no wayward grunnies or grombies about that weren't locked away, and knocked on the door-

It's us!

Prince had been awake for a while, he had never really slept in the first place. He had began to think the box was actually an extension of him and stopped trying to eat it. When there had been voices and things going on outside and around the cage he had tried to walk out and follow the scent of flesh but these infernal bars were stopping him - although as a grombie he didn't quite understand that and continuously tried to walk around.

Then someone was put in beside him - but they were just like him. It was pointless to bite them.

Now he was here, the box was removed from his head and he remembered it wasn't actually part of his head. He opened his mouth and bit down hard hoping to get the fingers but the person was far too fast at removing them, instead he swallowed some strange sweet. Not what he had wanted at all.

Almost instantly a change began to overcome him, he felt... himself? seeping back through. His mind was less hazy, less blurry.... He was making sense of things again and that desire for eating flesh and blood was definitely gone.

-Her ears twitched as the teeth clamped down on what sounded like air instead of flesh. She wasn't sure how long the medicine would take to take effect, but Minty seemed to have it covered. Instead she focused on the white veiled creature in the cage and if it decided to get up-

-Oh that ain't good-
Minty, wait 'til it takes effect.
-Did they have another one of them medicines on them if she got bit?-

She kissed him back, desperately. Just happy to have him back. Eventually, she broke the embrace, pulling back but still holding him.

"We should get out of here, the other grombie is still passed out." She was grinning like an idiot and wiping the tears out of her eyes.

Slowly waking, Orrin sat up, his face all greased up from using the meat as a pillow. Yet again, he hadn't a clue of where he was or how he got there, but it did not matter much to him. It was a pleasant room, with lovely scents, which seemed somewhat familiar. Who was it that smelled so sweetly? Is Batty here...?, he thought to himself. Then a foul memory flashed through his mind, running after the poor dearie.

He looked around himself, desperately trying to find her, but she was already gone. There was another woman there, though. She semmed to be asleep (?). "B-b-bat...?", he mumbled, and found himself quite surprised, as he hardly even heard himself speak. What was those things over his ears? How did they ever get there? The man sat there, silently, going through whatever memories he could find.

"We found you and met up with Lady Luck here, who told us about the Safe House." Minty nodded towards the bunny, "Arron had made a cure, but it didn't work on humans. Batty fixed it though, although her first try gave Cae cat ears...The Save House was attacked by grombies, Lady Luck and I got the lights back on and some strange man in purple cleared the basement of grunnies. I never did get his name... Did I forget anything?" Minty looked at Lady Luck, hoping she could fill in anything she had missed.

He nodded and waited as the door was knocked upon. "So it's all good? Relatively safe?" Prince asked, "And do you have bandages in there?" It had been so long since he had been in the safe room. He just wanted to curl up and sleep for an age.
