As Ren overheard that there was a big mission going on, he jumped out of his seat. Now that he was associated with these people, it was best practice to go on missions with them. As a team. Something that he'd never done before. "Ok Cyanide, return." he recalled his pokemon.

As he reached the beach, everyone had already taken off with the leader. "Come on out Abalone!!" The massive whale had popped out from the pokeball and landed gracefully onto the sand. Due to it's weight it had left a giant imprint. "Ok, ready to go on a mission?" Abalone let out a groan that suggested that he wasn't really in the mood, but didn't mind being in the water. So Ren took that as a yes.

Fifteen minutes in the water, Ren saw that he had a lot of distance between him and the others. "Come one Abs, a little faster. We don't want to miss the fun.". Eventually Ren saw a ship that wasn't too far and noticed the others leaving from it. "There they are!" They stopped not too far off from the ship and had put on breathers. They were about to dive under water. "Guess that's where we're going." Pulling out the device, he placed it in his mouth. He reached the group just as they were about to dive. "Hi guys! Hope you don't mind me joining in on the fun."

Meno waved and greeted Ren as he made his way under with the group.
"Nothing yet."
As he finished his sentence he turned to look at Allen and squinted a bit.
"Allen! Look a bit to the right of you! Near that corner."

"This totally seems like a bust," Cody admitted in defeat. They had been searching for a while and still had come up with nothing.
"I think it might be time to turn around. Maybe we'll come back when we have a map of the area or a better idea," the boy sighed, admitting defeat.
Just then, a huge explosion rattled the earth and sent violent vibrations through the water. Just off in the distance, a huge cloud of smoke was forming from where the rocks had crumbled and a group of shadowed figures, masked by the darkness, emerged.
"Let's go see what's going on, guys! Maybe they've found some treasure!" Cody took off, holding onto Staryu as they sped toward the group of people. "Maybe they're thugs and we can steal it from them!" he shouted in his adrenaline rushed state with no sense of remorse or second thought in his voice whatsoever.

The blast made Memo turn his turn in that direction as fast at it could. He nodded and motioned to Kira with his head.
"This oughta be interesting."
As he and his Horsea zipped through the water he finished his sentence with small chuckle.

The team quickly approached the shadowed group. "We're gonna do this the easy way," Cody explained to his team. "We're gonna let them take us to the treasure. If we pounce on them now, we'll have to do all the work ourselves, and where's the fun in that?" The boy pointed to a reef that was uncomfortably close to the mystery gang, but with the way it was set up, it would keep them hidden without a problem. Mira quickly maneuvered behind rocks and other pieces of coral to avoid detection before finally making it to the giant coral. The boy motioned for the rest of his team to follow and watched the mysterious figures from a distance as they blew up another large portion of rock.

Just as everyone else had, Ren maneuvered Abalone beneath giant boulder that was wedged into the dirt. "Stay. Don't move." he ordered. He dismounted, swimming himself being careful as to not to be seen. He could see the figures at work. It was nice that there was a large coral to hide his face. "So we wait till they find the treasure?" he reiterated.

Cody turned to Memo and smiled, appreciating his comment. "Thanks," he replied with a sincere grin. He loved compliments. It made him feel as though he might actually have the power and influence to lead this group one day, even if it was just these three. Turning over to Ren, he put on a more serious, down to business expression. "Exactly. We're gonna follow them through the caves and let them do all the work. That way, when they hit the jackpot, they're weary and easily overtaken."
Just as the boy finished his sentence, the mystery gang made a final explosion and disappeared into the hole in the wall that they made. "After them!" Cody commanded, swimming slowly toward the hole, keeping an eye out for any stragglers. "We're gonna get rich." He kept going back to the treasure thing, hoping to keep the spirits and morale of his troops up. They had been out for a long time, and it was getting late. He could see everyone was getting tired, so the more morale they had, they better they'd drive through the rest of the mission.
