Remmy back to the cave. "Don't go back to thee cave it to many crazy zubat there. Let just keep going so they don't come and get us!" He said to the other. He want to make sure he caught up with everyone.

Cara ran out of the cave, panting. She was scraping her boots on the ground, scraping off all the bat crap and nastiness. "Soooo gross. I don't think those Zubat were mutated...but they weren't very happy to see us." She said, releasing Spirit from her arms to go back to her perch on her head.

(was sick yesterday, catching up)
Katori turned at a noise behind him, jumping back with surprise as a Tepig charged around the camp. Danae tried to struggle out of his arms but he held her tight "i don't think so, not if it's like those pidgey" he muttered, keeping out of range and catching up with the main group gathering for the trek.

Katori was tired by the time the main group stopped, looking over at what appeared to be a massive termite mound with an opening in it. Katori wasn't planning on going anywhere near that dark cavern but Danae ran ahead of him, disappearing into the darkness. He followed after to try and get her back. "DANAE YOU DIM WITTED CYNDAQUIL GET BACK HERE!" he yelled, racing forwards, not caring who heard him.
"Oh you fool Danae.... DANAE?!" He was answered by a very contrite Danae, apparently she had heard him yell and had realised her error, she ran back to him but Katori was so relieved/angry/upset he immediately put her back in her pokeball, he'd talk to her when he'd calmed down. Thankfully he hadn't needed to go into that dark cave anyway.

Anise fled the cave, more out of startlement than fear. And also because Oki was herding her along most emphatically. The heat of the desert washed over her again once she returned to the sunlight, and no significant other shade was anywhere in sight. She pulled her bandanna off her head and retied it to try and cover the back of her neck to avoid sunburn.

Along with Danae returning to him Katori noticed people running out of the cave, he moved out of the way.
"Woah..woah .. what happened in there?" he asked, wondering since Danae had seemed to be spooked so people running from a cave.. well didn't bode well.

As Anise was retying her bandanna, Oki was sniffing around the sands idly to check for signs of more wild pokemon. Instead he found another strange piece of paper, which reminded him of the one that'd started off this terrible trip. Still, it might be important, so after a moment of indecision he brought his trainer over to see.
Anise picked up the piece of paper, noting how old it looked. Her eyebrows raised as she read its contents. "Pokemon in cages? No wonder they were trying to get free. The writer seems a bit paranoid," she commented aloud. Then she frowned at the last line. The was it trailed of like that was a bit ominous, though.

"Caged? Who cages pokemon?" Cai hadn't paid much attention to the other notes. He'd been trying to tune out the random bouts of hysterics that they seemed to incite but now his curiosity was piqued. " Over dramatic is more like it. " Cai read the scrap over Anise's shoulder.
He hadn't thought much of the random mutations the native pokemon were showing. If the area was as isolated as rumored then it wouldn't surprise him that some color variations were shoing up. Not all had ben different after all. The flock of pidgeys had seemed normal in everything but temperment, as had the bunearry.

Anise glanced over her shoulder at Cai to answer his question, though it may have been rhetorical. "The main kind of people I can think of who'd cage pokemon are the kind of villanous people who'd steal them: Team Rocket and so forth." A memory of an old encounter with the Team made her shudder slightly and add, "They're not above caging humans, either." Or doing whatever they were doing with the Eevees that time.
She read over the paper again, puzzling at it. "There's not much to indicate who wrote this. Maybe someone who considered themself a healer or scientist of some kind, since they mention finding a cure. But a cure for what?"

Katori niticed the girl he'd met before, chattering with someone after exiting the cave, her pokemon had brought her something. Well it was a good job he'd kept Danae in her pokeball but he supposed he'd better let her out.
As soon as she was released Danae let out a huffy ember aimed at Katori's feet "Don't make me regret letting yer back out Danae" he warned her, half heartedly. She was adorable when she was annoyed at him.

Oki noticed the irritable Cyndaquil being released again, and kept an eye on the smaller pokemon for a moment before dismissing it and continuing to survey the area. He'd already decided it wasn't a likely threat, while this landscape seemed full of dangers.

Finally out of the cave, all scrapped and bruised from falling down on the rocks. A particular stench rose from him from all the times he had stepped in zubat droppings. First when he got out of the cave he was blinded by the bright light of the sun overhead, it had taken his eyes to adjust to the sun overhead.
Phrixus had followed Zak out of the cave, but wasn't as affected of the sunlight as his trainer was.

"Couldn't be pokerus. It's generally considered harmless and temporary." Cai pinched his lower lip between his fingers. "Is Team Rocket a big problem over here as well? I had thought they hadn't eeally traveled this far."
