☽ Emma thought for a moment "Maybe we can meet up with Ellise later and talk to her. I thought she said she fought Reaver before so maybe she may know a trick for defeating him." she said. She quickly leaned up and kissed him before laying her head back down "Don't worry about it way too much." she told him. ☾

Never Again...Herald nodded, accepting Emma's kiss as he thought. That was actually a good idea. From what he had heard, Ellise seemed to have the most experience fighting The Reaver. And although he loathed asking for help from others, in this case he might have to make an exception. "I think that's a good idea," he replied, thinking of how he would be able to get in contact with Ellise. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald pushed everything out of his mind as he tried to get some sleep, eventually drifting off. [[timeskip a few hours?]] Herald opened his eyes slowly, looking over at the form of Emma next to him. He gave a small smile before sitting up slowly. He felt much better than he had and a good deal of his energy back. He took a deep breath, not wanting to wake Emma up as he thought about his next steps. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma didn't stir when Herald woke up and sat up. She continued sleeping without moving but, from the look on her face, her dreams weren't too pleasant at the moment for some reason. The weird thing with Emma was that her body, from the neck down, seemed petrified when she had nightmares, almost like it didn't want her to thrash and wake up but instead continue with the dream until the end. The expression on her face turned into a frown for a moment and she whimpered slightly. ☾

Never Again...Herald blinked when he heard Emma whimper. He couldn't see her face nor was she moving so he had no idea that she had been having nightmares. He reached over slowly and turned her head to face him. "Emma?" He asked, his voice filled with equal parts confusion and concern. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma didn't react until Herald spoke. Her eyes snapped open, wide with terror for a split second before she closed her eyes again and rubbed them. She continued rubbing them for a moment or so "What is it?" she asked, pretending that the dream didn't happen. She had an annoyed look on her face as she moved her arm down. Obviously all the issues from the day before had begun affecting her dreams and she wasn't too fond of that. ☾
