Koras nodded, though he was still blushing heavily.
Cadaver shrugged as the spectral horns he'd created for the heck of it dispelled. "Not my fault I'm curious." He then turned to Chimera and June with curiosity. "And where did you two vanish to yesterday?"
"Hiding spot for when Chimera in heat," was the blunt reply, causing the hybrid duo to get wide-eyed stares all around.

Koras shrugged sheepishly.
Cadaver chuckled. "That was probably our mute friend's first heat, so he wouldn't have recognized the signs," he explained.
As the girls sighed, Beetle just sat there; females were weird. Pretty (or in Misaki's case, beautiful), but weird. Still, if Misaki liked the idea, maybe he could arrange something.
Simon blinked as he noticed something that the others had apparently missed. "Uh, Koras? Why's your backpack open?"
Koras blinked as well, then whirled around just in time to see two little boys, one blue-haired with deer horns and one red-haired with blue skin, both no older than five to six years old, hurry off with the two Plates that Koras and the group had collected.

Surprisingly, the boy with the blue skin seemed to shift slightly, his body changing so he got a sort of red exoskeleton and hands becoming flipperlike, easily taking the Hydro Pump head on without any effect. He then changed again, hair becoming spiky, exoskeleton shedding, body becoming much thinner and arms becoming two thin, whiplike tentacles, before he took the other plate from his friend and zipped away, the group quickly losing sight of him.
The boy with antlers, meanwhile, glared at June defiantly, X-shaped pupils staring a hole in her head even as his antlers became golden with a splash of other colors here and there, a strange pink aura of power flaring up around him as the little guy got ready to fight...
...Only to yelp in surprise as Simon snuck up behind him and grabbed him by the ankle, dangling him upside-down and causing the boy's aura to vanish, though the antlers didn't change back. "So, little guy, care to explain who you are, exactly where your pal there went, and why you were stealing from us?" Simon questioned.
The boy blinked for a moment before glaring again and folding his arms stubbornly. "Not tellin'," the little guy declared, "I don't talk to bad people! M'not a snitch!"
Simon couldn't help but grin slightly; the little guy certainly had spunk, but unfortunately for him, he minored in psychology. "Hmm... no, seems to me that it's more that you don't know anything."
"Take that back! I do too know stuff!" the boy snapped, pointing at him accusingly... which was rather humorous, since he was upside-down.
"Oh? I highly doubt that; do you even know what a bad person is? Do you even know your own name?" Simon asked.
"Of course! A bad person's anyone who's not me or Andy or Ark or Victor! And my name's Xane, so there!" the newly identified Xane snapped, sticking out his tongue... only to promptly realize that he had just "snitched". "...Aw, crud."

(Yep! The game has a storyline about how Xerneas reincarnated into a tree; expanding on that, I decided to have him reincarnate into a little more... interesting. xd )

Xane stared curiously at the girl a moment. "...I like you. You give nice hugs," he decided before promptly giving up the rest of the info they wanted; at this rate, they were probably going to find out anyway. "Anyway, Ark's sick, n' the plate thingies feel a little like him, so we figured maybe they'd help."
The other boy - Andy, probably - just stared silently, returning to his normal state and starting to poke the bubble as if trying to pop it.

"I'm Xane," Xane answered matter-of-factly, obviously not understanding the question... he WAS only 6, after all. "And we didn't say so cause the last person we tried to get one of the Plate thingies from was a meanie."
Andy blinked, then turned and poked the wall of the bubble again, expression turning a little curious.
Simon, who had set up a strange apparatus so he could hear the conversation on the inside of the bubble, blinked. "Huh... so they're not malicious at all, just trying to help a friend..."
"VICTORY KICK!" Cue the spontaneous kick to Simon's groin by a strange orange-haired 3-year-old with a V-shaped scarlike birthmark on his head, causing the scientist to double over in pain and collapse to the ground. "Heehee, 'notha one bites da dust! Nevah fear, for Victor da Victorious 's here ta kick butt n' take names!" the strange boy declared, flashing the victory sign, his typical toddler lisp fairly evident.
Koras just blinked owlishly; seriously, he'd accepted that his life was weird as all hell a while ago, but groin-kicking, full-sentence-speaking toddlers appearing out of nowhere was pushing the envelope a bit.

(He should be... he's a Victini hybrid, after all. xd )

Koras took one look at Lilian's begging eyes and gave in with a nod.
Of course, the cute little buggers didn't understand a thing that was being said, Victor blinked as he was sucked into the bubble, then promptly took a fisticuffs stance and started hopping around like the little nutjob he was. "You wanna piece a da Victohw?!? C'mon, put 'em up, put 'em up!" he shouted, making jabs at the air in front of Lilian, his toddler-lisp growing more obvious in his excitement... at least until Andy promptly restrained him, arms once again changing into tentacles and wrapping around the hyperactive toddler. "Hey, no faiw, I wasn' weady!"
"I'm fairly certain it does... supercharged or not, a kick from a toddler doesn't have the required force to permanently injure a teenager's groin, let alone a fully-fledged adult," Simon muttered, voice a little wheezy from the pain. "Should be fine in a few hours... still hurts like hell, though."
Cadaver wasn't sure whether to wince in sympathy at Simon's misfortune or burst out laughing at the fact that he was taken out by a toddler of all things.
Meanwhile, a Cleffa, Deerling, and Darumaka had followed their respective partners and were currently watching from just out of sight, ready to step in and fight if things looked like they were about to go sour... not that they'd be able to do anything, but it's the thought that counts, right?

"Nooo, Victor no want time-outs!" the little boy whined cutely, struggling inside the bubble.
Xane considered this a moment. "...I dunno. We were only 'round here 'cause we got lost. If our Pokémon were here they'd prob'ly know the way, though..."
"DARUMAKA!" Cue a little red furball launching itself into the bubble with impressive force, aiming itself at Lilian... and then accidentally overshooting and ending up entering Victor's bubble too, ending up smacking itself against the wall of said mini-bubble.
Xane seemed rather calm about the sudden and abrupt "attack" - a stark contrast to the guys, who were all either startled (Chimera and Cadaver), on the verge of a heart-attack (Simon), or sweatdropping (Koras and Beetle). "Well, there's Teddy, so Luna n' Cerf prob'ly aren't far behind." Sure enough, Chimera looked down to see his leg being poked by a curious Cleffa, and Koras looked over at the Deerling that was sniffing the bubble the three small hybrids were in cautiously.
