My only comfort is that Shikaku will only find out about this later, and wasn't forced to see the horrible act take place.

Actually, on that note, I vote we save time and Kennie posts again to start the next round, since any reactions now would be within about a two second time frame between Sora and Kensei's next post.

@Timmy: No. Laxus is completely incapable of falling over or lauching. I don't know what lauching is of course, but I have no faith in Laxus' ability to perform said act.

Shadowrun Returns is awesome beyond my expectations.

I'm actually planning on buying the pen and paper books for it just so when I can, running a campaign of it.

Yeah I know, but life has become annoyingly busy. By the time I have time to sit and do anything lately I have no desire to work on a post. I'll have something up soon, hopefully.

Well, I managed to finagle myself some free time this afternoon and was planning on doing it then, but with Hikaro leaving us there's a fairly high chance of things changing a lot for the whole guild and suddenly it didn't seem quite as important.

Actually, considering you and Timmy are now the only active members not in crew, I might as well just spill it, cause why not?

For awhile now, starting from about a week or two before the new professions were released, the crew has been batting around the idea of a complete PotS reboot. It was more seriously considered before the updates, because we didn't expect to get them done so soon. Since they were finished so fast, the idea was dropped, though still mentioned off and on ever since.

With Hikaro leaving us, that leaves two of the five core villages closed, one leaderless, and the remaining two nearly empty. We could close Kumo, leading to three out of five closed and absorb the characters into other villages, but that would, at this point, just be another nonsensical timeskipped mess. The only other option, while retaining our original timeline, is to get someone to make a new kage RPC or NPC and take over the village. With our current numbers, that's unlikely to work well.

Basically, to sum it all up, the idea of a reboot is sounding really good about now, at least to me. It gives us a clean slate to do whatever we like without worrying about conflicting with guild history, and more importantly, lets us shift all of the members together so that we're not stuck with just one or two of the same people constantly. And, of course, if we did that continuing the current mission has little purpose besides personal closure.

I've put the idea forward to crew already, though the only reply so far is Hado agreeing that it sounds good (He's also been the most regular suggesting it recently). But, considering again that you two are the only active non-crew, I feel like we should probably see what you think too. Does a reboot sound like a good idea for you? You would most likely be able to keep the same characters, or at least build a new character using them as a base so there's no worry about being forced to start that from scratch, unless you want to. And, of course, the character's memories would no longer apply since the reboot would either be a massive time skip or a new world entirely.

More on the question, I expect he's the only one who actually heard Kensei's "Why did I agree to this?" thanks to his hearing boost, so his reactions could be important in their own way. If you do feel I'm taking too long though (And of course still wish to continue assuming all of the above), you can feel free to skip me. Any post I make will most likely be a lovely fleshed out thing summing up in the question "What did you agree to?". Heck, if you want just for the fun of everyone involved, and still assuming I hadn't posted yet, you could write out Shikaku's actions for me as an outside observer! Could be amusing, and he'd be easier to do it for than some others, such as Laxus for instance.

... Actually, Laxus wouldn't be that hard either. It's really just his brain that would be hard to duplicate.
