Dante looked over at Victoria and got distracted after he felt her head on his shoulder. "Um...yeah sure." Dante said as he rubbed Victoria's back. He checked his phone to make sure he was going the right way. "You'll want to take the first right after the bridge." Dante looked out the window on his side. He smiled again after he thought about Victoria and moved his head to kiss the top of hers. He continued to sit there without saying a word as he waited for Victoria to say something.

Daren could see Aria smiling and his face turned almost magenta when she commented on how slow he was driving. "Sorry. I'm just...nervous." He tried to concentrate better and sped up even more, so they were at almost twenty-five miles an hour. He glanced out and saw an elderly woman behind a wheel that passed him, which proved Aria's point. He grumbled something under his breath that sounded like, "She's going too fast," and sighed irritably. He heard Dante's answer, but he didn't sound too into it, and Dante knew he was more interested in his new girlfriend, or whatever she was. Daren felt better once he gave him a real direction. He straightened up and tried to find the bridge, which didn't look too much farther ahead. He could see it, but it was still a few blocks further. He finally grew mad about how slow he was going himself, and sped up to thirty. Now he was going normal speed, and the sign down the road showed it. He shot Aria a glance, but she was doing something on her phone again. He shook his head and kept his hands on the wheel, turning right as he was told when the bridge came up. "What next?" He met Dante's eyes once again in the mirror, waiting as he slowed down a bit, afraid he would do something wrong. Victoria tried to keep herself from giggling stupidly when he glanced at her and struggled with responding to Daren's question. She smiled when he began rubbing her back, and she sighed into him, blushing a bit when he kissed the top of her head. She glanced up at Dante, silently thanking him with her eyes for everything he had ever done for her. He hoped that she understood the message, but decided to clear it up by whispering, "Thank you Dante. For everything." She closed her eyes and set her head back on his shoulder, growing more tired by the second. She didn't want to fall asleep, but she was in a comfortable position for sleeping.

Dante smiled at Victoria when she glanced up. "When you turn it'll be at the end of the street." Dante kept rubbing Victoria's back and felt her sink into his shoulder. He grinned after she thanked him and felt somewhat accomplished. "No problem." Dante sat back into the seat and placed his cheek on the top of her head. Dante's body warmed up a little bit after he began to think about Victoria. He felt himself wanting to grow closer, but there was the nagging voice of his past present. He knew that he liked her, but he also knew that he liked the others in the past, so what made her any different from them. Dante decided that he'd let time take it's course and see what the relationship would grow into.

Aria had been greatful that Dante had been too preoccupied flirting with Victoria to check his phone. It really wasn't a conversation for right now. She wanted to say 'Settle down you two.' as it seemed like Dante and Victoria had some secret thing going on. Aria thought it'd be good for Dante to settle down though; those other girls he had hung out with had been terrible picks. Aria smiled slightly; she couldn't really talk about his choices, could she? She listened to Dante give Daren directions and wondered where the hell this bowling alley was. She then remembered that they'd traveled from the 'upper-crust' part of town; nothing was close to that community.

Victoria smiled when he said it was no problem, and felt him move his head on top of hers. She sighed sleepily, and closed her eyes once again. He was just like a warm security blanket, and it made her feel safer and more comfortable. She felt herself drifting off, because the car was so quiet. No one was speaking, and it was already dark. She slowly fell asleep, the car gliding along the road like a lullaby, hoping she had a few minutes. Daren nodded, hearing the next direction. He frowned then, realizing that the bowling alley wasn't that far from where Dante was. Lucky b@stard, he thought with jealously. He continued down the road, turning at the right turn, and saw the sign for the alley down the road, a couple of blocks down. He kept driving, speeding up a bit. When they finally pulled into the parking lot, he made sure to put the shift in neutral before he parked, and carefully turned the car off. He glanced back at Victoria and Dante, but frowned when he heard Victoria breathing shallowly, with her eyes closed. He sighed, irritated. He looked back at Aria before staring at Dante. "Should we wake her up, or what? How could she fall asleep that quickly?"

Dante looked at the bright sign after they parked. He hadn't been to this bowling alley before. He glanced at Daren and then to Victoria. He kissed the top of her head, and said "we're here" as he unbuckled himself. He wiggled his shoulder a little to make sure that she was waking up. He would feel back if he went to get out and she just fell over. Dante waited for her to get up and told the other two to go inside. "I'll join you two in a few."

Daren sighed when he was told to go inside, but he didn't object, either. He got out of the car, handing the keys to Dante before gesturing for Aria to come with him. "Hey, maybe we can get our bowling shoes and bowling balls first." He grinned, now excited. He pretty much ran inside without her, and the doors closed behind him. Victoria faintly felt someone kiss her head, and she heard Dante's voice say that they were here. Here where, she thought groggily in her mind. But when wiggled his shoulder, she opened her eyes and remembered they were at the bowling alley. She yawned quietly before glancing over at Dante, smiling shyly. She felt really bad that she just fell asleep on him, but she couldn't help it. "I-I'm sorry. I'm up." She stretched quickly but glanced up just in time to see Aria and Daren going inside the doors to the alley. She frowned, turning to stare at Dante. "I guess we are just slow. Thank you for waiting on me and everything." She gave him an apologetic grin, and waited for him to get out so she could, too tired to remember there was one one the other side.

Dante moved the seat forward and climbed out. "I told them to go ahead. It's fine. Really." Dante said as he offered his hand to help her out. He moved the seat back and closed the door after Victoria got out. He straightened up and held out his hand for her to grab it. "When's the last time you went bowling?" he asked looking at her. He felt his phone vibrate. It wasn't on silent or anything, so he checked it. He saw that Aria had sent him a message.
Not trying to ruin my day? he thought and it came to him. It didn't upset him but it worried him a little.
What's Veto doing now? Dante sent back and put his phone away. He wondered what Veto was up to and how long it had been going on. He didn't think Aria would withhold information like this from him, but it was a possibility, now that he read that message. He turned his attention back to Victoria and hoped he didn't miss the answer.

Aria had gotten out of the car right as Daren ran inside of the place; she hadn't even been able to reply to his statement. She glanced back at Dante and Victoria but simply thought 'Whatevs people.' She ran up to the door and opened it, gasping as her eyes fixed on an arcade room. Bowling hadn't really been her thing; she really just wanted to hang out. Now that she was here, however, they wouldn't be able to pry her off of these games with a crowbar.

Victoria waited as he got out, admiring the muscles that flexed in his upper arms as he moved the seat forward, allowing her to get out of the car. She hoped he hadn't caught her staring. Her face flushed happily when he held out his hand for her to take. "Thank you." She accepted the offer and set her feet on the ground carefully, watching him close the door to the car. She again blushed slightly when he held out his hand, but she didn't reject it as she intertwined his fingers with his once more, more secure and comfortable this time. She heard his question and was not surprised by it. She raised her eyes to watch his face when he answered his cell phone, and noticed he held a worried and irritated look. Something was wrong, but she didn't want to be nosy anymore. It was his personal life, and she didn't need to be in it...yet. She smiled hopefully at the word, and pulled out of her mind as she saw him waiting. She answered his question with hesitation. "I have only been once, with my dad. I was only seven. It was a couple of months before.." She didn't need to get into that right now; they came here to not worry. "I've just been once. It's really fun, although I wasn't that great at it when I tried." She said this quickly, laughing at the truth of her comment. She slowly moved her gaze away from his as she glanced up at the bowling alley, wondering when they would go inside. Daren had waited for Aria, and when she entered the doors leading into the arcade and further back, the bowling alley, he grinned once he saw her face. He jogged over to her, almost bouncing on his toes he was so excited. "Isn't this great?" He asked anxiously, his face glancing back to see the counter and the line for bowling shoes. "Where should we go first? I don't know if we want to split up now or meet up later or what, but I'm hoping we can try the arcade first, no matter what the decision." His voice sounded eager and hopeful, and he waited for her answer, looking like a kid on Christmas. "What do you want to do, A?" He didn't lose his large smile or his stare at her.

Aria laughed as Daren bombarded her with conversation. "Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to be in here winning a shi-...I'm mean crapload of tickets." She had stopped herself because she wasn't sure how Daren had felt about her profanity problem even though he had heard her blow up before. She smiled at that thought and her mind secretly wandered to Dante and Vic. The hell are they doing, making their own bowling shoes? "What are you going to do first D?" she asked, holding his arm to keep him from flying away.

"I see. I've never been much of a bowler nor did I frequent here myself. But if it's what you want to do then I'll do it." he said as he led her into the bowling alley. He hadn't been here in ages, but it was all familiar to him. He walked up to the counter, Victoria by his side, and talked to the guy. "Size ten please. And shoes for her." The cashier sent someone to get the shoes as he rang up Dante. "How many games sir?" the cashier asked. "Until we get bored. Can you just keep a tab or something?" he said and the cashier hesitantly shook his head yes. "I'm not gonna jip you out of your money. Trust me." Dante said as he grabbed his shoes and sat at his lane. He looked over at Victoria and smiled. He let go of her hand and went and got his bowling ball. After walking back he sat down to enter the names and let her go first.

Victoria walked with him inside, a exciting and anxious filling her as they entered the bowling alley. She didn't let go of his hand, even at the counter to get shoes. She waited as the man talked with Dante and sent someone to go get the correct sizes of shoes. When they got them, she held them in her free hand and followed Dante to a lane, disappointed when he let go of her, but reassured by his charming smile. She watched him get his bowling ball and put her shoes on quickly, following his example. She frowned, trying to pick up a twelve weight ball, but almost dropping it. She settled on an eight, embarrassed that she had to get a small one. She waited until he got the names in and gave him a thank you when he let her go first. She took a deep breath and made her way up in front of the lane, rolling her arms back and forth to get the feel of the ball first. When she was ready, she moved the ball forward and back, and finally let go of it, surprisingly making it sail down the lane and hit the pins hard. She was irritated when she saw she hit all pins but two in the lane, and they were split. Trying to pick out which one to hit, she glanced back at Dante helplessly. "Told you I'm not very good," She said self-consciously, a redness coming up to her cheeks. Daren grinned when she said crapload of tickets instead of the other. "You don't have to be polite, Aria. I'm not your grandmother." He let her hold his arm, but he felt like dancing he was so anxious to do something. "Let's go to the arcade, then! I want to beat you at the guitar hero." He gave her a devious smile and went up to the token machine, instantly pulling out a wad of bills, stuffing a five in. He came out with at least twenty tokens, and he gave half of them to Aria. "Here, take these. I think you only need like four to do the guitar hero. I mean, you don't have to play. I'm sure you're scared of getting your as-..butt kicked." He winked at her and went sailing over to the game, pushing the tokens into the game like there was no tomorrow.

A sly grin crossed Aria's face as he mentioned kicking her butt at guitar hero. "You, sir, are going down!" She ran over to the game and joined him; he'd already out in enough tokens for the both of them. She grabbed one of the guitars off of the rack and quickly glanced back to see Dante and Vic playing a game. It didn't look like Vic was doing too well and Aria hoped Dante wouldn't try one of those 'Here, let me show you how it's done.' moves. Daren had picked the song by the time she looked back and when it started, she began pressing the buttons and acting as if she were playing a real guitar.

Dante looked at the pins and back at Victoria. "You didn't do that bad." He stood up to take his turn. He concentrated on the pins, mentally aligning them, and then take his swing. He didn't know what happened after he saw it went into the gutter and he turned around in a shameful manner. He tried it again but failed. Stupid game Dante mumbled under his breathe as he sat back down. He looked behind him and saw a bar with endless bottles of alcohol. Dante left Victoria and went back to the bar.
"Jack and coke on the rocks." Dante said in a quite manner. He turned around to make sure Victoria wasn't looking. "I.D.?" the bar tender said as he cleaned out a glass. "My friend Ben has an I.D. will that work?" Dante slid a Benjamin across the bar. "Are you bribing me?" Dante lifted his hand. "Is it working?" The bar tender made the glass and Dante grabbed it from him.
Dante went back over and sat down hoping that Victoria wouldn't say anything. What bad could one drink do?
