..Pretending to be irley seemed to work against her, as instead of flipping the tables, she ended up crunching the paper instead. Frowning, she left her crunched up papers and went to the prize wheel. She had won a candy, sos he would use it to-
..hold on...
Astra paused as she checked her pockets, finding out that she had miscounted her candies and still had another one. A pleasant surprise! Grinning, she Placed her candy in and spun the wheel.

Cervantes returned to the booth, having won a candy but forgotten to do anything about it. However, once there, he couldn't resist trying one of the games again. He did like fish, he thought. He wasn't very delicate, though. Cervantes approached the fishing game and asked to play, preparing with his flimsy net. He doubted it could catch anything, and thought in fact that even trying to stab the fish with his tail would be more effective.. but that was also a bad idea.
So he scooped the net in and closed his eyes, wishing for the best. He was kind of in a hurry, as he really didn't want to miss Scario Kart.

Desu-chan, you're not hiding puppies in those teacups, are you?
Well, that went miserably. The net seemed to explode into tiny pieces, gripped in his rough hand. He frowned at it, and because he needed to assuage his ego, moved onto another game. Would he end up playing a bunch of them, now? It was a little ridiculous how he seemed unwilling to give up, but that was his pride, after all. If he got beaten by fish and a paper net how could he possibly become the fastest, strongest Devil's Dandy Dog? That goal seemed nigh impossible!
What was better for practicing than throwing something at teacups? He couldn't think of a single game! So he went over to the cups, and took a shot at that game too.

He had lost that one, too?! This was ridiculous! Bested by teacups, bested by fish and paper, what would he be bested by this time?! Surely the Nyan-cats would not let him down. Cervantes leaned against the booth, his eyes wide and sad like a puppy dog's might be, and mumbled which his choice was. He had to get this right, surely? He was now consumed with a desire to at least win one game, but he really didn't have the time to be so stubborn!

This isn't funny, the life of a bunny is at stake! What do you mean they're not alive?
"Oh, thank you, gracious nyan-cat," Cervantes said, glowing with joy and relief. At least his poptart cat hadn't failed him! Although he had sided with the strangest one... Was it wearing bracelets? Its face seemed to have a really weird expression on it. Since he was in such a good mood, he moved to the bunny game.
"I don't think I played this right, last time," he admitted. He had hit as many as he could (and done fairly good at that) but he suspected by the look on the face of the girl running it, that was not what he was supposed to do. So this time, in a good mood and trying to be kind, he tried to avoid as many bunnies as he could. Everyone should be this happy!

Who would've thought flipping tables was harder than flipping pancakes? What's up with that!
Okay, so he hit the first two out of instinct. And then he missed two, though! ... but he accidentally hit the last one? And he felt pretty stupid. "I swear I wasn't trying that time," he said, ashamed of himself, but also secretly proud of his instincts. Okay, so it was just a terrible choice for him to play this game. His natural predatory habits meant that no matter how hard he tried, he would just keep on smashing those rabbits! Even though they weren't exactly alive...
With a sigh, and an embarassed rub to the back of his neck, he headed over to the table-flip. At least this game was comforting. What was more fun than flipping tables?! He still longed for real ones, but considering the ones last time had nearly kicked his butt, he may as well stick with these...

Cervantes sighed. Well, that hadn't worked out how he had planned it. Even the tables, he had failed at the tables! At least the nyan-cat hadn't let him down. His tail wrapped around his waist, despondent. Well, maybe his prizes would cheer him up.
He now had two pieces of candy, one from his failed attempt at table-flipping, one from the nyan-cat he had just bet on. Why not roll the wheel twice? Maybe he'd get something delicious! Hmmm, a mystery and... a nyan-cat, was that what it was?! He felt pretty happy about that, and wondered how things like that tasted? But he was also pretty sure it would be bad if he tried to eat his prize, given the nyan-cats had essentially gotten him that wheel spin in the first place. So he happily accepted what he had won, and hurried back to the booth he had left.
