"JERRY." Roberts fist came down, but Jerry had already hopped away, searching for the beeping. He was a lucky little s**t. "I ain't gonna sing no wake up song to the newbie, stop tryin' to make me!" The last thing he needed was for trainees to wake up thinking he was some kind of... of..

Some kind of Jerry.

"It's this one. Jerry - HEY." He heard the hissing as the pod release its safeties, small puffs of white smoke jettisoning from the side, and he thumbed at it. "It's this one."

He peered inside. The trainee was awake, and she looked terrified. Nothing new there, so he tried not to loom over it to give her room to wake up without a giant staring her in the face.

"Ah!!" Jerry about faced and managed to skip back to hover next to Robert beside the pod, beaming about ready to break into song (even on his own) when she started shouting in some strange language. He flailed for a moment, unsure of what to do before she quieted down, shivering slightly and immediately he slipped out of his coat, "Goodness, they seem to get younger like every time!" He hissed to his partner before smiling gently, "Hey, hey, hey it's okay!"

The white jacket was scorched in some places and smelled of blood, dirt, smoke and a general man-funk, but it was better than no coat at all.

"Take it easy, now! Deep breaths.. um... do you speak English? Parlay voos French? What''s your name?" Not that he spoke french, but he was trying.

Although she understood that there were just two super super tall foreigners, she couldn't help but pictured two giant docile bears in her mind, one was nice enough to lend her his coat, and one was sitting docilely. They seemed unharmful. The brown one was wearing a black frame, which made him more approachable to a girl who loved glasses. Then her shiver stopped when he put a blanket over her. Wait, she checked the details, it should be a coat but it was so big that enough to bury her. She quickly buttoned up and tied the long long strap around her waist, so much warmer. Realizing how big and long the sleeves were to her, she folded it several times but it still covered over her hands. The girl creased her face when she smelt of the smoke, but she was still glad to have the coat. "Thank you so much, I feel much warmer! It's so nice of you, thank you!" She gave him a big smile as return. Taking a deep breathe as the big bear asked her to, she answered her question, "I can speak English! And sorry not French. My name - my name is Dǒng Shū Lěi.....an Asian girl." She peeked around after she finished, this place was so quiet and weird, it seemed they were the only people there.

She didn't forget to spare some curiosity to the taller blonde bear, he seemed quiet. Was her act make him unhappy? She was a bit worried.

"Ah, y-yes, we can see that," Jerry smiled weakly, shooting Robert a look. "Do er... you realize where you are?" Some people remembered the recruitment, others it was more hazy. "Welcome to Deus! Um!"

She shook her head at brown bear's question, her memory - seemed like broken puzzle pieces. Deus? She made a step backward when the blonde bear decided to get up and got closer. She wasn't scary but the difference in height gave her some threats. So - it's Jerry the bear and Robert the bear? "This-is-ma-chi-na...?" She repeated after Robert and tilted her head as it was the first time she actually communicate with foreigners. "Hunter? -" She tried to recall, "I do remember someone approached me and talked about something like that..." The girl frowned for her failed memories, something important was missing. Believing her memory would eventually come back, she offered them a smile. "You two are so nice, so - what do I need to do now?" She jumped closer and used her tiny hands to hold each of Jerry and Robert's big hands fingers.

Noemi awakening was a slow dull thrum of hums. It was the sound of machine around her, something foreign to her usual quiet country living. But she could identify it, knew it for what it was. It was a quiet hum that woke her body, that eased her pain from blistering white pain....to a slow ache and soreness.

She knew this ache well.

The lid of her hatch popped open, brown eyes sliding open slowly as it took in it's surroundings. At first it was bleary, just mixed shapes and lights and dots. Some blinked...some disappeared.

Air felt different in her lungs, heavy, like she hadn't breathed it in for a long time now. She couldn't move her body yet, but she was waking up.

Slowly, but she was waking.

"I-I can have a lovely coat like the one you have?! That's-great!" Her eyes lightened up and sprang a few times like a rabbit, hands still holding theirs. Her smile grew bigger at Jerry. "Whatever you like! Shu, Lei....Ah! My mom called me Lei Lei though." Even though she was excited to get the coat, she didn't miss the "partner" part.

Robert the bear suddenly became active from his hibernation, she was happy to see the big smile on his face which she gave a brighter one in return. "Yes, you two are really nice." She nodded several times to stress she was serious and not lying at all. She happily swung her hands with theirs, like a child walking between their parents.

The girl was acting much more innocent due to the memory confusion, she should be taught about the basis of Deus Ex Machina and hunter, but her memory was blocked. "W-WEAPON?!" Her eyes were like two ping pong balls suddenly, she was shocked. So- she was gonna get a weapon and wield it like those protagonists in the adventure fantasy?! That was an exciting and cool idea. "Where are we going? Will you two be with me? I-I am a little bit afraid of going alone...." She was a bit scared.

When she heard what Robert the bear suggested, she puffed her cheeked like a well-known pink fat ball pokemon. "It is so nice of you to do that, but if you get hurt, I won't be happy even if I am unharmed." There seemed to be tears swinging inside her eyes as an emotion struck her. Was that someone who protected her died before? Anyway, the feeling came and went away quickly, the tears never drop.

"Be good to yourself, Robert. And Jerry you too." She said with a funny serious face, like a kid pretended to be a teacher.

Then. She tripped over the long coat which was sweeping the ground all the time. "Ah!"

"Ah- watch yourself!" Jerry stumbled as she stumbled, reaching to help her up again, "At least your own coat will fit right! Ah, well, about your weapon... well, we can go with you to the cove, but you'll have to pick it out yourself! When I first got here, ahaha, I was too nervous to go right away. But let me tell you, the sooner you find them, the better in these parts!"
