The man in blue STILL remained emotionless. "I suppose if I'm not getting an answer from you....you're all worthless." He told them, drawing his katana.
Justin rushed at the man, bearing his frigid claws.
Before Justin could get close, the man raised a hand, and then summoned a bunch of swords out of nowhere, the blades flying at the ice demon.
Justin's eyes went wide as he jumped to the side.

"You've been worthless to me since this conversation started." stated Shadow, not impressed by the sudden appearance of swords.
"You're wasting my time." Sonic jumped into the air, doing his ball thing and boinging at the man.

The man simply sidestepped Sonic, smashing him in the stomach with the hilt of his katana. "On the contrary, mutant, you are wasting MY time." He said, kicking him back harshly.

Shadow caught the now-limp mutant. "Idiot." He mumbled. Sonic was yanked from him.
"SONIC!" Amy hugged him tightly.
"Hmph. So you can take out a damn blue-haired teenager. Don't think that makes you immortal." Shadow said, looking at the man. "But unlike Hedgehog here." He gently kicked Sonic's head, "I'm not a moron."

The man looked at Shadow. "I'm sure you're not. However, I'm instantly bored of you mutants. You people, save for the ice half breed, are basically a genetic mix and mash of MORTAL beings. If I'm going to waste my time here, I'll waste it by killing someone of a somewhat superior breed. The rest of you are nothing more than roaches." He said coolly.
Justin glared at the man. "I don't take kindly to you insulting my friends." He hissed, rushing him with Cerberus this time.
The man blocked every swing of the nunchaku with the blade of his katana. "Do you really think the weapon of a simple ice half breed can defeat my blade, Yamato?" The man hissed, knocking Cerberus out of Justin's hands, then quickly cutting Justin across the face, leaving a bloody gash running near his right eye, then pushing the ice demon away.

Shadow smirked. "That's where you're wrong, Blade-Boy." He said calmly, watching Justin nearly lose his eye with no interest(well, that's natural). "These ones are worthless." He nodded towards Knuckles, Sonic, Rouge, and Amy.
"Hey!"
"But me? You can barely call me a mutant." Shadow turned away from them, putting his hands in his pockets. "Ultimate Lifeforms don't have time for puny beings like yourself. Run along, before I get pissed."
(Don't autohit Shadow, though. One, he's actually reallypowerful(maybe not up to the standards of, y'know, Metal Sonic when he KEEPS COMING BACK FROM THE DEAD), and two, he's awsome xD)

(I knows, but so is Vergil. That's the guy's name, by the way. He shows up in DMC 3 like six times as a boss! And, The guy's like a half demon Shadow, in terms of seriousness, but he's also got Metal's lust for power, times ten!)
Justin held his eye, then glared at Shadow. "This is MY fight!" He yelled, then did something drastic. His body changed yet again, and he went into Devil Trigger form. "YOU PICKED THE WRONG PERSON TO SCREW WITH!" He roared, his voice blended with a demonic growl.
The man still had no emotion on his face. "Rash, impulsive, quick to throw everything into a fight without a real plan. Dante must have rubbed off on you." He said coldly.

(Hey, just saying ;3 Shadow has thingz to does, so he won't even be hanging around ^^)
Shadow smirked. "Think I don't know that? I was simply correcting him. Take care ofyourself, Justin." He strolled off.
"IT'S REAL NICE TO KNOW WE HAVE YOU AS BACK-UP, SHADOW!" Rouge called after him sarcastically.
Knuckles looked at Sonic, then at Tails. "Great, now I've got two bodies to move to safety." He heaved Tails onto his shoulder, took hold of the back of Sonic's shirt, and walked away.

Justin didn't care how much of a jerk Shadow was right now. He was busy going nuts about nearly losing an eye. He then started firing sharp icicles at the man.
The man in blue summoned more swords, shooting them at the flying ice projectiles. He then rushed Justin, in a flash of blue, swinging Yamato at him with blinding speed.
Justin managed to block the blade with his ice covered arm. He then summoned an ice katana in his other hand to strike back.
Sadly, the man in blue simply sidestepped Justin, impaling Yamato into his shoulder. "One slash at the eye, and you go insane? Pathetic." He told the ice half breed, twisting the blade to intensify the pain. He then yanked it out, pushing Justin over.
Justin held his shoulder in pain. He HATED this guy right now, but he had a point. He had to get it together, or he would die. He got up, taking a breath to calm himself down. He then began sizing the man up. This enemy was skilled, and freakishly fast. The best plan would be to stay calm, and study his moves during battle.

(And since I know absolutely nothing about Devil May Cry, I'll just be reading a magazine while you do this. cool *sits in lawnchair, sipping lemonade and reading, sunglasses on*)
Amy tried to keep up with all this, but decided she'd never be able to do it without getting a major headache. She ran after Sonic, and began fussing over him, taking out a first aid kit and tending his wounds(most given by Shadow during their fight, by the way).
Knuckles came back over. "How's Justin holding up?" He asked, eyeing the fight a bit aprehensively.
"Considering that this guy is like a demon version of Metal, pretty well, actually." commented Rouge, arms crossed.

Justin slammed his hands to the ground, causing a field of giant ice spikes to spring up at the man in blue.
The man in blue avoided the spikes with ease. However, Justin managed to use one of them to trip him. He then quickly got up, holding Yamato in a blocking stance. "So, you managed to trip me. Enjoy it, for that will be the only time you catch me off guard." He said, speeding over at Justin.
Before the man could reach him, an all too familiar blur of crimson zipped in and blocked Yamato with an all too familiar sword: Rebellion. "Now, now, Vergil. You're supposed to be the mature, older brother, so why go picking on the Popsicle?" Dante asked, with a cocky smirk.
Vergil STILL had no emotion. "Simply to draw you out, little brother. You have something of mine, and I'm going to take it off your corpse." He threatened.

Had Rouge not known Shadow and Sonic, who always zipped onto the scene in an instant(Sonic in a blur and Shadow just appearing), she probably would have fainted by Dante's sudden appearance. Either way, she was startled. "God, can't people just show themselves and not scare the crap out of us?!"
"Everyone appearing out of nowhere isn't really going to help my recovery." Knuckles said sarcastically in reply to Rouge. He grinned at Dante. "About time you showed up, though. I take it you know this b*****d?" He nodded towards Vergil.

Dante nodded. "Guys, meet my big brother, Vergil. Half demon like me, but he's my exact opposite. Boring, cynical, serious, conceited, and not as stylish and awesome as yours truly." He explained.
Vergil sighed at his brother. "You forgot to mention that I'm more powerful than you." He said.
Dante laughed. "You're either incredibly high, or your power's gone to your head." He joked.
Vergil said nothing. He just jumped back, then rushed Dante for another slash.
Dante simply swung Rebellion to meet Yamato's blade.

(Well, Knuckles might learn a big lesson....DON'T screw with Vergil while you're not at 100%)
Vergil heard what Knuckles said. How DARE this simple mutant accuse him of drug abuse!? Since the Echidna looked the easiest to kill, out of the two people who accused him of such a thing, he was going on the death list before Dante, simply to save time. He then jumped away from Dante in a blue flash, reappearing behind the echidna, Yamato at his back.
