Rio smiled and took her hand in his. "You..are the best kira. Uh hehe...i never thought i would meet someone like you in all my life."

Kio had driven around a bit but then found something amazing. It was a small hotel, no longer in use but kept very well intact. The only issue was some dust. He chatted with the current owner and after a couple minutes was handed the keys at a price that was...practicaly a steal. He then drove off, going in search of the others. "hehe they are gonna be so happy when i tell them the good news."

"Alright. Thanks Hikaru." Ryan said as he started up his bike, and despite some pain, he sped off to catch up to Kio.

"Yeah had a little run in with Zenno." Ryan said as he pulled his bike over as well. "Wonderful. I need a place to crash. I feel horrible."

"no prob. just fallow me dude." Kio then drove slow enough for Ryan to keep pace, just in case he needed aid. After a short drive they came to the inn, the for sale sign was removed. Kio pulled up into a covered drive way and parked his ride vendor by the door before transforming it into its vendor mode.

"Welcome to our new home."

Rio blushed more and tried hard to not look away out of embarassment. "Well its true. You are strong Kira, the strongest woman i have ever met."

*Sitting in a large SUV, Dalton looked out the window as places passed by. He wanted to go for a drive on his motorcycle to get air, not this. Shifting in his seat a bit, he looked over, while slightly agitated, as he had to sit in this vehicle with several armed guards. Going from always alone to having to have guards was a change that he didn't like. The vehicle pulled up to a stoplight, when suddenly the front end of the vehicle came ripping off. A set of swords rotated in the air and came through to slash the vehicle in a horizontal manor, giving it the stylish roof the driver never wanted.

Rushing out of the vehicle before the swords could finish ripping the car up, Dalton and the soldiers got out in time. Opening fire at the black bishop monster as it approached, the military attempted to hold back the creature and prevent it from getting to Dalton as per their orders. Knowing that it had responded to Dalton, he was allowed to keep the device, but given 24/7 supervision and guards for his safety. So far, that hadn't been working well. Bishop rose it's hand, multiple rocks flinging upwards and smashing the guns out of the soldiers hands.

Dalton stumbled back a bit, gulping. He knew that this monster was pretty strong, but that he was the only one who could fight it right now. Looking at the driver as he took it out, he wondered if he should try using the device again. The first battle, though it definitely helped, the driver didn't seem to respond to him and more lead him on for it's own sake. The second one it worked slightly better, but still didn't seem to work well for him and did what it wanted in a sense.

Looking up, he watched the monster knock the soldiers around. Seeing Dalton not respond to the fighting, the Bishop monster turned around and summoned a volley of axes to come downwards towards the helpless soldiers. Screaming out for the monster to stop, Dalton couldn't respond in time to do anything and the following few seconds made him close his eyes in regret. Those people had risked themselves for him, or rather the device that had to choose him of all people. Thinking back to how he vowed to fight and save people, he knew he couldn't hesitate with transforming again.

Strapping the driver on, Dalton glared at the monster who was somehow happy to see Dalton going to use the belt again. Taking out a large gear, Dalton posed.* Henshin! *Pulling out the slab on the driver with a motion, Dalton put the gear he showed into the rock and pushed it back into the driver with another. Responding to the sequence, the driver once again warmed to life and did it's motions to create the armor around Dalton and make him the rider known as Ardence.

Knowing he should call Era for support, but wishing to get revenge on the monster and prove himself a bit more, Ardence ignored the idea of using the candroid and ran in to fight by himself. The Bishop made a motion, happy it got it's way, and summoned multiple types of bladed weapons to fling at Ardence. Rolling around to try and avoid them, Ardence sparked and was damaged right away again, unable to avoid the full barrage of weaponry.

Not sure how to counter the monster, Ardence stayed back a bit and stopped his charge in. It was clear that this type of monster required range, as getting too close let it swarm you with weaponry. As he tried to think, a group of cannons appeared and opened fire, knocking Ardence heavily and launching him down the block into an oncoming truck which skid to a stop and smashed up a bit on the impact. The driver jumped from his truck, running away and screaming in terror.

Pulling himself from the truck now wrapped around him, Ardence stumbled around a bit.* Think...think... *Bracing his hands on his knees, Ardence seemed to need to catch his breath for a moment. Thinking a bit longer, he jolted upwards and jumped to the left behind a parked car in time to avoid another barrage of cannon shots.* Alright, I know what I'll do!

*Putting his hand outwards, he tried to summon forth the medium and smaller gear set and quickly swapped them. A weapon appeared in his hand as he jumped out from behind the car.* Prepare for Era's rifle! *Going to hit a trigger, Ardence realized that once more the belt had screwed him. Holding onto Era's sword this time, Ardence groaned a bit in disgust.* This thing just hates me. *A volley of cannons fired again, smashing Dalton heavily and sending him once more in the air. Growing accustomed to it by now, Ardence moved in the air and rolled to his feet a bit.*

Well, if I have to fight with a sword, then I'll just have to get in clos- *Before Ardence could finish, a black featureless monster jumped out and tackled Ardence into the side of a parked car, smashing it off the street and launching it and him into the side of a sturdy building. Stumbling to his feet after the attack, Ardence propped himself on the car and looked out the hole he was standing in.* Another one? I'm glad this armor is durable enough...

*Making his way over the car, Ardence ran in and slashed at the monster that jumped him. Absorbing the blows and sparking, each hit from the sword caused the monster to shift in appearance, growing more of an armored look until it's eyes flashed and it smacked him away.* Activation. Rook Routine. *The monster finished changing, taking on a very heavily armored look. The large monster moved forward, intending to squish the rider with it's new power. Getting up to fight back, Ardence was going to rush in when a barrage of swords can swirling around him. Falling down to the ground, Dalton knew he was in trouble.*

I get it... next time... I'll call for back up.... Good. I'm sick of having to check in on you to make sure of it. *A large blast came out, knocking Rook back a bit, but not doing much damage to the black, armored monster. Era walked forward, detaching the gun and sword from each other before putting the sword away.* Lets give this a try. *Placing a card into the belt, Era attempted to cross kamen ride Ardence.

The data stream went to Ardence, but canceled out and the card ejected from Era's belt.* Okay then. That is new. Calls for plan B I guess. Take the one who attacked you first. The big one is mine. *Ardence nodded as Era took out another card, then Kamen Ride summoned two riders to deal with Rook. Running towards Bishop, Ardence took the replica of Era's sword and began slashing wildly.

The slashes knocking other weapons out of the way, his wild style of sword us was proving slightly effective for once. Jumping into his swing, Ardence managed to get into slash distance of the bishop monster and force him to take a step back. A barrage of swords appeared however and slashed into Ardence, causing him to spark and sending him back a few feet from the monster.*

Meanwhile, Era caught his rifle weapon and used it to fire on the Rook monster. Walking through the shot as if it was nothing, the black creature continued forward. Two summoned riders appeared in front of it, the first being a blue kuuga-style rider named Kaoodra. The second one, took a delayed response and instead seemed to be cycling through something first. Sighing deeply, Era shook his head once more.* I am always forgetting how annoying that rider is...

*Settling on a red diamond, a somewhat red colored, gun wielding blade-style rider appeared. Dubbed Shuffle, it immediately opened fire on Rook as well. The combination of gun attacks from both Era and Shuffle's Diamond Form cause Rook's armor to splinter a bit, forcing him to groan an odd noise and back up. Suddenly however, a larger, thicker armor appeared around him.

Absorbing the impacts of the gun attacks easier now, Rook carried forward. Kaoodra rushed in, kicking and punching into Rook as it continued to move in Era's direction. Moving it's arms to try and hit Kaoodra and squish him, the armored monster's attempts to hit the quick rider continued to fail. Smashing the road up a bit, Rook began to get annoyed at the insect.

Jumping in for a flying kick, Kaoodra went to hit Rook square in the head. Seeing the attack coming however, Rook moved it's arm swifter than before through the air and swatted Kaoodra from it, causing him to fly several feet away and land with a skid. Shuffle rushed in, firing it's weapon at a closer range at Rook's head as well. The armor on the monster shifted, protecting the head more before the impacts could hit and allowing it to barrel through the rider. Tossing him aside easily and straight into a nearby dumpster, denting it heavily, Rook continued to move towards Era and keep him from helping Ardence survive.

Swords, axes, hammers, multiple types of weapons came flinging close to or into Ardence as he continued to try to rush in.* I really need to think of a way to get closer.... *Standing up after the last barrage had hit him, Ardence focused and brought out a gear set before swapping them around.* OK this time for sure, Era's rifle! *Raising the weapon and finding this time he did indeed summon a weapon with a trigger, Ardence pulled it and opened fire. The blasts shot out, but were blocked by a sword which formed in front of the monster. Looking down, Ardence noticed he had a pistol like weapon.* Well at least it is a gun I guess.

*Firing the weapon a few more times as he rushed in, he didn't like that it didn't have a lot of firepower, but was happy just to have a ranged weapon. As he shot and got closer to hit the monster better, various weapons appeared to block the shots which were then flung at Ardence. Being knocked back, Ardence landed on the ground once more as the attacks successfully landed. At the same time he hit the group, Era was being knocked back by the Rook that had rushed in. Blocking the brunt of the impact with his sword, Era flew back in the air, but landed on his feet.

Kaoodra rushed up, putting a strong punch into the open side of the Rook monster. Turning and smashing Kaoodra like a bug, Rook's eyes followed the rider as it flew in the air backwards. Rolling on the ground to it's feet, the summoned blue rider got back up instantly. With the help of being a summoned version of Kaoodra, a staff weapon digitized in front of him and was grabbed by him. The staff shifted into a spear and Kaoodra's form changed from blue to purple. Having now changed form, Kaoodra rushed in with it's spear weapon and began stabbing towards the Rook monster. Not bothering to avoid the attack, the monster was stabbed several times by the piercing spear's attack. Making an odd noise once again, it's armor shifted again as well and the Rook rushed forward at it's best (yet still slow) speed.

Shuffle, in it's Diamond Form, quickly readied two cards. Slashing them through a slot on the gun, the gun responded to the Bullet Armadillo and Fire Fly cards. Using the combination of the two of diamonds and six of diamonds, Shuffle's gun began belching out fireballs with added damage into the back of Rook. This didn't stop the monster from barreling towards Kaoodra and trying to smash him, causing Kaoodra to use the Striking Form's agility and flexibility to avoid as many attacks as possible before being knocked backwards and off his feet by a hard strike. Turning his attention to Shuffle, the Rook monster moved towards him, the fireball attacks from his gun doing little to nothing against the approaching monster.

Using another card, this time a face card, Shuffle used a fusion to suddenly change forms. The fused Shuffle formed wings before taking to the air and avoiding the smashing arms of the large monster. Zipping through the air, the summoned rider continued to fire down towards Rook, but with no real effect to the Rook. Kaoodra readied his spear, the armor shining a bit before his trim went from the same color purple to a silver color and the light purple of his armor shifted to a darker color. Running in, the powered up form of Kaoodra stabbed forward, the spear tip shining as a ring on the spear moved and added more blades to the weapons tip. The impact of the spear-turned-trident ripped slightly into the armor, but the armor quickly patched itself up before Rook did an overhead smash into Kaoodra and knocked him into the ground to create a crator.

Era whistled a bit.* This monster is one of the toughest ones I've seen... but I also see it's weaknesses as well. *Taking out a card, Era hesitated a moment. It was another push of his belt to do what he was prepared to do. He didn't want to push things any more than he had to, but every battle was something new to make him do such. Sighing a bit as he watched Kaoodra and Shuffle attacking to no avail, he shook his head. After a few seconds, Era slotted the card in and summoned a third rider.

The den-o based Magnos appeared once more. This time however, different armor appeared and formed on top of it's base form. This armor was white and silver and had multiple vents on it, as well as a different feel than other imajin-based forms. Forming what seemed like a bazooka as soon as it appeared, it began firing off energy blasts into the armor of Rook and joined the attacks with the other summons. Beginning to concentrate their attacks on one spot, the trio of riders began to chip at the armor before Magnos tossed their pass in front of their belt.

Initiating a full charge finish move, Magnos' vents suddenly began sucking in particles around them, as did the back of the weapon which had begun to spin and lit up brightly. The vents then suddenly shot out a bit of steam with some electrical energy as the form moved backwards from recoil. A large silver-white energy beam came crackling through the air, impacting Rook and chewing away the armor. As the attack hit, Shuffle flew to the right position and started to fire into the wounded spot to keep it from sealing up. Kaoodra pointed the trident forward, the other two rings on the spear weapon shifting in position to their other slot as well and causing the weapon to not only spiral like a drill, but also stretch forward and extend it's length.

Magnos de-summoned, it's hissatsu move in that form having a terrible side effect which broke the data clone down. It had done it's job well however and with Shuffles help, created a large enough opening for Kaoodra's extending, spinning trident weapon to impact and knock Rook backwards finally. The monster stumbled a bit, falling to a knee as two marks appeared in front and in back of the black creature. Standing to it's feet, it tried to charge towards Kaoodra, but the marks finally took effect and the piercing finisher kicked in fully. Exploding in a pyrotechnic display, the Rook monster that Noburus had sent after them was defeated. Shuffle and Kaoodra de-summoned themselves, allowing a slightly on edge Era to worry a slight bit less and focus on Ardence fighting.

Looking over to the battle finally, he noticed Ardence laying on the ground, smoke coming from his armor and the magnum weapon laying a few feet away. Ardence had been putting up a good fight, but the belt still was being annoying and not doing what he wanted. Getting up, Ardence panted a bit.* Alright belt... work for once... *Opening his hand after forming another set of gears, he swapped them out. Thinking that Fang's ability might be handier in getting to damage the monster, he reasoned that being able to deflect the weapons with the fangs would do a great deal in getting closer to strike it. Slotting in the gears, Ardence form suddenly changed before he looked down to notice it not doing what he wanted again.*

Aghhh... this is getting annoying... *Ardence stood in the form of another rider. This time however, it was Fury that he had turned into and not Fang. Making due with what he was dealt, Ardence figured he would try to use what he knew of it's abilities. Forming FuryClaws, Fury-Ardence ran in, firing them off towards the Bishop monster. Trying to block all the claws, Bishop formed a wall of saw blades which chewed threw the claws, then launched at Ardence. Slashing through them with the FuryClaws he hadn't shot off, Ardence got closer than before and tried to cut at the Bishop monster several times.

Caught by several large sledgehammers before he could reach in time however, Ardence was knocked back and fell onto the ground. Coughing and groaning in pain, he slowly got up.* How did that guy fight in this form?!? *Feeling like there had been little to no armor in between him and the strike of the hammers, Ardence wanted to abandon the Fury rider's form quickly.* I don't care if it is the default stuff... your going to respond belt. We will beat this monster! *Responding to his feelins, another set of gears appeared in his hand. Once again sliding out the tablet and changing the gears, Ardence shifted form from Fury into the lycid-mutation that he had helped defeat before becoming a rider.

Watching Ardence take the shape of the monster, Era was beginning to figure out in his head how the belt worked, at least partially. Observing the fight more and not jumping in, he wanted Dalton to continue feeling confidence in using Ardence and to see if he could finally beat one of the monsters. Bishop was a tough one to face, but Ardence's abilities mimicked Era's enough and Dalton's conviction in fighting to help everyone else reminded Hiraku of himself early on.

Spears appeared and flew towards Ardence, causing him to weave around trying to avoid them, but eventually being pegged by several. Ripping them out, he winced in pain a bit. This form also was a problem to be in if he wasn't more careful. A large array of bladed weapons appeared now, ready to head towards Dalton. Having had enough of this and knowing this forms abilities, he took a gamble and spit out a large hail of the acid that had wounded Era's summons. The belch of acid melted through the weapons and struck the Bishop monster. It's eyes flickered a bit, the acid sizzling but stopping before it reformed a bit.*

Gotcha! *The black monster rose it's arms up, forming multiple bladed weapons, shields, blunt weapons and projectiles. Ready to throw all it could at Lycid-Ardence, Dalton simply spit a large spray of acid out once more, melting the weapons and causing the same freak out to the monster. Going to attack, the belt suddenly locked up in it's gears. His form stopped and broke apart, phasing him back to Ardence and causing him to stumble back a bit.* W-what? Why? I had him! *Recovering and being very angry now, the bishop monster summoned more weapons which hit into Ardence and sent him flying back.*

At least this form is defended well enough. *Getting back up as his armor smoked from more damage, Ardence looked to his belt, then the Bishop monster who was using all it's power to summon a large storm of various weapons.* You chose me belt. I was given your power to fight this threat to everyone, right? Then it is time to move past these games, give me your power!! *A light shined in his hand, forming another small gear.* A monster again?... Fine, but it will be used to bring this monster down. *Sliding the tablet back in after swapping gears once more, Ardence noticed nothing outright happen. He then got a slight jolt, a sense of what he was meant to do with the gear.

Running towards the monster, Ardence prepared to make this approach the last one against this monster.* Have a taste of your own power! *Focusing and trying to form the same powers, Ardence suddenly began to make a variety of weapons appear and fly around. The weapons forming just in time to block the storm of weapons the Bishop monster had been creating. Era looked on towards the fight as the weapons clouded out his view, swirling around like a tornado and clanging into each other in battle.

Charging full of energy as he ran, Ardence's larger gear began to spin faster, in turn spinning the medium and smaller ones with it. The Bishop monster summoned up a wall of swords and other weapons, which was immediately ripped apart by multiple piercing and taring weapons that Ardence willed up using the monster's own abilities against it. Creating several more layers, the monster tried to protect itself the best it could, but Ardence's wave of weapons continued to rip away at the Bishops line of defense.

As he ran, Ardence's feet suddenly locked into the ground, forming what seemed like half-gears on the bottom of his feet in energy and forming a toothed pattern on the ground. The two worked together to suddenly propel Ardence forward with much faster momentum. Disconnecting from it, but still having half-gear energy rotating on his feet, Ardence drop kicked forward past weapons that were either forming or breaking away. His own summons attacking the defense of Bishop and allowing the gear drop kick to land and the gear's teeth to begin to chew into the monster. Flipping away from the black Bishop creature and landing on the ground, the gears pulled him back a bit before rotating in the ground to face Ardence the other way. The Bishop finally exploded and was defeated along with the black Knight and black Rook.

The storm of weapons stopped for a moment before disappearing into data like the summons of Era or DiEnd. Ardence fell over onto his knees and panted a bit, de-transforming back into Dalton before laying on the ground and trying to catch up to the toll of fighting so much. A large grin was on his face, having not only beaten the monster, but seemingly gotten his belt on his side for the moment.*

Beat it easier too *Dalton laughed a bit, getting slowly to his feet*

You should head home and rest up.
I'll have to give a report on what happened too... *Dalton paused, thinking of the soldiers who were trying to guard him.*
Make sure to tell them that you already have the means to defend yourself. No one needs to be hurt foolishly.
*Era got on his motorcycle, waving a bit and riding off before Dalton could respond. Sighing a bit, Dalton knew that his battle still wasn't done.

Elsewhere, Noburus returned from their business, looking to their Pawn minions as they took care of their thriving lair while they were gone. Noticing that Rook and Bishop had been defeated, Noburus showed little concern in their actions.*
I suppose thhe next part of the game....

*Holding out a sphere device, it floated in the air before opening up and having small, dark and purple lights float into the air themselves. Six orbs of light appeared in all, flying past Noburus and into six husks. The orb that hovered in Noburus' gloved hands closed up and fell back down with it's job done.

The husks of creatures eyes lit up, three black and three white colored ones stepping forward a bit. First the set of three black creatures shifted form, resembling the fallen Knight, Rook and Bishop from before. The set of white monsters became similar to the set of black ones, with minor differences throughout their design or weaponry.*
Thhe seccond test phhase is over...
Let us see if thhey ccan survive thhis one...

"I guess." Ryan then winced from where he'd landed on the concrete floor. "Man I'm not gonna just sleep this off." he said as he gingerly got into a laying position.
