Yes, much like the US, Australia had many Jewish immigrants after the second World War and then many more from the Soviet Union escaping Stalin and his cronies. Many chose Australia because they wanted "to get as far away from Europe as possible", which is understandable.

Also fair to mention that a significant number of South African Jews immigrated here. To me, a mental picture of your average Australian Jew is incomplete without a South African accent. xd

My name is Jakob, I near Toronto in Canada and I'm 16
Well, I'm pretty new to all of Gaia, so I don't hang out anywhere. Just yet wink
I'm in 10th grade and work at StarBucks, oh yeah.
I like to drink coffee..I guess. Also I watch a lot of action movies, like Fast and Furious, although I thought the Tokyo one was overly bad.
Uh...nothing else really.

Gaia: I don't really do much on gaia but sell stuff and fix my gaia aquarium. I love shopping for Avatar clothes and stuff.
Occupation: I'm a college student. I'm ready to do that whole graduating thing.
