I was still outside. I walked inside and I sighed, "Who are you really, Akira?"
Meanwhile...

I sighed, "Takeshi-sensei, please help Hotaru and Saturn realize that it is not good to dwell in the past for too long..."

I kept my fingers pressed against the stone as I sighed. I was lost and confused. With Akira suspecting me I didn't know what to do. Takeshi knew who I was and it killed him. I didn't want anymore people to die beacause of me.

Just then, I sensed it. I looked at the church, then I noticed it. An aura of dark energy seemed to come out of the graveyard. It wasn't the Dark Zodiac, but it was dark enough to register on my senses. I started to run toward the graveyard... I had to protect Hotaru. It was my duty as a friend... And it was my duty as my other side to protect the innocent.

At first I didn't notice the threat of the evil but then I felt it. I glanced up and then looked around. Something was wrong with the dead! I turned and choked back a scream. I panicked and froze staring wide eye at the dangers.

I wasted no time. I quickly ran to the graveyard, and I saw Hotaru paralyzed by fear by... The living dead? I thought, 'Ookay... When has my life turned into the Night of The Living Dead?'. Even though I knew she was going to be attacked, I couldn't let her be harmed. I felt the familiar weight of the glaive behind me. I sighed inwardly.
That's when I screamed, "Get back, you zombies!" I jumped up and I sliced one zombie in half. I looked at the body and I let out a sigh of relief. It wasn't Takeshi. I looked at Hotaru. I asked, "You all right?"

I was startled when Akira showed up but then I was grateful. I nodded. "Yes, I'm okay." I responded. "Akira watch out!" I said in alarm while pointing at one of the....things. "I don't understand. Why....why is the dead doing this?"

The zombie attacked me and sent me spiralling to Hotaru's right side. I looked at my left arm. Apparently, the zombie that attacked me was a girl. The scratch marks that zombie made were bleeding. I sighed, "And I just took a shower too." I winced at the searing pain. I looked at Hotaru. I sighed, "I don't know why the dead are doing this. I have a wierd feeling about this..."

I didn't respond as I stared at his bleeding arm. My friend was hurt...and it was because of me! I looked over at the zombie thing and hatred flashed through my eyes. I felt my guardian planet helping me, giving me strength.

I slowly stood up. I said, "No, Hotaru. Leave this to me. I promised I'd protect you, and that is exactly what I'm going to do. This wound is nothing. It's my responsiblity as your friend that I'll protect you. And as a knight in training, I never go back on my word. Besides, I think I've figured out why they are attacking us."

I looked at Akira my eyes flashing dangerously. The look I gave him was almost daring him to tell me to step down. "No. I'll handle this." I said.

I looked at Hotaru's eyes. They seemed to convey a deadly power, just like my own eyes are. I smiled, "Guess neither of us is backing down. We'll have to handle this together. These zombies... They are unnatural. They aren't made by the the Dark Zodiac, however, they are of the past..." And that's when I looked at what the zombies are blocking. I gasped, "That's it! I know why the zombies are attacking us!"

I looked at him and then the zombies. "What are you talking about Akira?" I asked confused. I looked back at him then back at the zombies. I didn't understand what was going on.

I said, "Someone is testing us. I don't know who, but I can already sense that the zombies are after you, Hotaru. Why, I don't know just yet."

I didn't say anything as I round-house kicked one of the zombies. I moved to take out another one but a zombie tackled me and I hit the ground. The impact forced the air out of my lungs. I managed to get up again but it hurt to breath. Another zombie caught me across the chest and I tumbled backward scraping my side on something. It hurt like I couldn't believe. I couldn't find the strenght to get up. And even if I could I didn't want to.

I sighed, sounding hurt. "Starting without me, Hotaru? How could you!"
That's when I whacked one zombie with glaive and I started to really get serious. So serious, in fact, I let my other side take over me just a little bit.
That's when I saw Hotaru down. I snarled, "If you want her, you're going to have to get me, first."
And that's when the zombies started to come after me.
