"Wait..." The king frowned, "Lancelot seems exhausted..." He said, sounding worried, "But the fight hasn't even started... He didn't fully recover, did he?"
"You seem like you're struggling, Lancelot." Lamorak said with a grin. He then gasped.
Lancelot was nearly falling to his knees.
Lamorak slowly stepped back, "L-Lancelot?"
The knights and the crowd gasped.
"Lancelot!" Perceval ran up to the falling knight, "Are you ok?"
"Y-Yes..." Lancelot winced, "I'm fine..." His hand over his chest, "L-Let's continue... I'm not going to forfeit..."
Lamorak looked at Lancelot with a nervous look and readied his sword.
Lancelot stood up tall and took a deep breath and he too readied his sword, I cannot let my injury hold me back...
Perceval walked back to the bench, but she waved her hand at the crowd, letting them know that Lancelot is ok.
"Is he all right?" Galahad asked.
"Yes....it seems like his injury didn't heal yet... He is stubborn as usual.."

jewel blinks tilting her head " mother told him to stay in bed after we left that if he moved around to much the wound might reopen " jewel sounds a little worried

"Hmph..." The king chuckled, "There is no way to keep a knight still... especially him. He has his own way of free will. It is impossible to tell him to not fight."

jewel frowns leaning back i her chair with her arms crossed she looks slightly annoied 'why didn't he listen to my mother, he would rather die in some tournament then live?.' jewel asked herself

"It's his choice how Lancelot deals with his life.... he can choose to die... or live..." The king nodded.
The fight was almost over. Lancelot seemed exhausted while Lamorak isn't breaking a sweat.
Suddenly Lamorak decided to give the final blow but suddenly Lancelot jumped as if he came back to life and slashed at Lamorak.
Lamorak dropped his sword, "WAH!" He fell back, "What in the world?!"

jewel frowns her ears going back a little " but to die in a tournament... it seems like a waist" jewel blinks as she points slightly " what just happened there?, and does he get to rest between fight's? " jewel seems to be asking more about lancelot's well being then about the tournament

The "referee" waited for Lamorak to pick up his swords, but Lamorak decided not to. He doesn't want to force Lancelot to keep fighting.
"Lancelot! The Winner!" The man shouted.
Lancelot glared at Lamorak, "Why didn't you get your swords?!"
"Because I know I wouldn't win!" Lamorak said.

jewel blinks putting her cheek on her hand she has this look opn her face that show's she's deep in thought ' maybe I should have asked mother to come with me'

Lancelot stomped away but he headed to his tent to rest.
Perceval walked up to Lamorak to help him up, "So? What happened?"
"I can't let Lancelot continue to hurt himself... I had to forfeit. If I don't, he will continue fighting. He looked like he was in pain."
