I guess you have both heard that if the government does shut down like they are talking about doing then all federal parks will be closed. Which means no Gettysburg until the shut down is over.

No, all essential people will still be working. meaning security, military, etc. However, the military will probably be going with no pay or half pay for a month. Basically, one of the few ways it really effects us is that any thing that is not essential to the country like park rangers, National park personnel will not be working.

I saw and I know. But there are things the general public does not know and those that work for the actual government like DOD (department of Defense) do know. I am just saying there is more to this then people think. More "cuts" are in the works.


Omg! My neighbors have some really Violent sex.

They are having issues passing a budget so they are pulling a "Rendell". Which means they are threaten to cut or close down things till a budget gets passed. But Rendell who was our former governor would fire state workers to get his way. Luckily what I have found out is they will be keeping most of Gettysburg open Because most of it is self funded.

Lol, I say Congress should go without pay for a year. They could probably afford it and it would take care of so many budget problems.
