The Sentinel gave Harata a very flat look. She got all of these people onto this boat and didn't even know how to...?
Well, not that the Sentinel could really say anything. She wouldn't have known either. Her Infernal Majesty wrung her hands together and kept her mouth shut; complaining would probably make someone angry with her.

Seeing the Sentinel's face, Harata laughed, and patted her on the shoulder. "It's okay. I was joking. In any case, I know how to do it. So, anyone want some tea? I've found a kettle, and have some tea leaves. Or tea bags, if you prefer."

 Evelyn
Evelyn raised her hand, slowly, feeling rather silly and childish—like a little girl in school again.
“My uncle taught me when I was eight…”{{Heh, my uncle actually did. And he taught me how to work a jet ski.}}

Stunned that Harata wouldn't even know how to drive a boat she seemed to be the captain of, his gaze flickered towards the Sentinel as she drywashed her hands neverously. He could honestly say this wasn't what he had expected, but wasn't he very much the same? He ran from nearly everyone at first.
"I could try! It can't be too difficult." Before Harata laughed jokingly, and Eve offered to help, the Overseer had already darted off in the direction that Harata had gone and come back from, trailing water behind him as his footsteps thudded across the deck. He was soon rooting around inside of the small house boat, and found the controls, analyzing them with a critical eye for detail. Maybe he wanted to show off a little.

Harata wandered down, below decks. It was tight quarters. She had to keep moving, otherwise the over zealous Overseer would of possibly knocked her out with his comings and goings. She laughed. "Woah there Seer. Make certain you don't crash it. I'd offer to teach you, but last time I tried that, it didn't work out so well. Would you like some tea? It will take at least ten minutes to get back in shore." She groaned as Eve walked down. "Eve, could you please go above decks? Well, either you or him. This is only meant to be a one person boat. There is not enough room." ((It's a slow boat. And the boat was pretty far out.))) (((I believe the words one person, tight quarters, and barely room for two were used?)))

 Evelyn Evelyn followed the Overseer and Harata down, wishing the Overseer would reconsider her offer to help. But then again, he was the Overseer. He could do anything certainly.

Just about to test one of the levers, he took his hand off of it quickly, and glanced over his shoulder when he heard Harata. He just barely stopped himself from rolling his eyes when she spoke to him, and he smiled. He really was in a good, victorious mood, knowing that the Sentinel wasn't hiding behind some rock around the corner to jump out at him and kill him. She was, in fact, sitting on deck, miserable and lost. It did him some good to know that maybe he could help someone else out for a chance.
"We can have tea when we get to shore. Ten minutes is hardly enough time to boil the water, let alone enjoy it. Just show me which one of these make it go faster and slower." But now he smirked ever so slightly, "But if you do remember, you were having more of a time arguing with Bapp instead of teaching."

The Sentinel had separated her hands and lifted one a bit, as if she were trying to decide whether or not to request some the tea that Harata had offered. But then, she'd been distracted by the Overseer as he moved to try his hand at controlling the ship.
Then, of course, Harata had gone back down below deck as well, if only for a few minutes, and was followed by Evelyn. The Sentinel's shoulder's slumped with dismay; she was left on the deck, basically by herself, so she shifted from where she sat and turned so that she could sit on her knees and look out over the water, setting her arms on the railing and propping her chin on her wrists.
[Speaking of Bapp... he never quite made it onto the boat... >_>]

Harata looked at him and smirked back. "No. The most mighty Overseer does obviously not need my help, not if he uses that tone with me." She sat, knees curled up to her chest, on what appeared to be a coffee table bolted to the wall. "And ten minutes is more than enough time to boil water for tea. It takes five minutes, max." ((Where do you live? Where I live, it takes two minutes to boil 1.5 liters of water)))

{{Soorry, I haven't had any Dr. Pepper today. My brain isn't letting me write what I need to. (Blame Nellie. I had to write her sonnet for her. And that girl is...yeah...) I meant to write that I was watching from the stairs, over your shoulder. Sorry, I'll go get some Dr. Pepper and become coherent.}}

 Feline couldn't belive all the comotion that was going on in this boat. She'd been watching from the roof to make sure that no wrong doings would happen, but since everyone had seemed to go below deck she decided to hop down a take a closer look at the Sentinel. She leaned against the railing and stared out to sea, hoping to not startle the poor woman who seemed so lost. "I've been wondering about you," Feline finally said, "They say you had great powers." she paused for a second, "But you seem just as lost as our Overseer is though."

 Evelyn
Evelyn was taken aback by Harata’s words to the Overseer. That is to say, she was pissed off by them.“That’s it, Harata, no more talking to the Overseer for you. If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Out.” On one hand, this was the truth. On the other hand, she was still upset with Harata for following her and not even bothering to try and comfort her. {{Sorry, Grun-Grun, I love you!!!!!}}

"Why?" Harata glared at Eve, indignant, "I don't pamper, I tell things like they are. He needs somebody to keep him real, to make him realize his powers. That is why they dissappeared? Don't you understand that?" Harata was yelling now, her voices strained, "Everyone was falling over themselves to say how wonderful the Overseer was, how powerful the Sentinel was, that no one realized they were going to dissappear. No one bothered to watch, or actually think. Anything they do must be right! But it's not like that. And out you say? This is my boat. I am the one that saved you out there. You did not fight her, you did not know. I did. Yet why is it me who will recieive the blame?" Her face flushed, yet she did not hide it, nor move, though she was shaking. "If anyone goes above decks, it won't be me." ((I just realized. All of Taylor Swifts annoying songs are the same. "I love my best friend who is dating this b-tch, yet he obviously should be with me."))) ((and in the music videos, the guys are always caramel haired and eyed, and the girls all have dark hair, and similar features.))

The Sentinel lifted her head and looked up at Feline, pondering her words. Something about this person just felt less intense. Harata was severely straightforward. Evelyn felt too open. The Overseer... well, to say the least, Her Infernal Majesty was wary of him. This one just seemed calm.
"I suppose I did," she said quietly in response. "But the Overseer seems to have a better sense of himself than I." The Sentinel reached one of her arms out, as if trying to touch the water, but relaxed left it hang over the rail.
She narrowed her eyes, wondering at the shouting that was suddenly going on below deck.

 Evelyn
Evelyn frowned at the curled up girl. “Surely you’re joking. I’m not saying that you didn’t save me, I’m not saying you did. But I am saying that I don’t stand for such insults to be thrown at MY Overseer. Have I said one word against the Sentinel? No. I respect her, and I expect you to respect him. If he asks for your opinion, you can give it without the sugar-coating, but he didn’t.” {{Well, she does have that one song "Tim McGraw" that isn't about that. Although, it is about a guy that she's not with anymore. And then her song "White Horse." And "You're Not Sorry." (I live in Alabama. I know all that country. People expect me to. Because they like to make me sing them when they're bored.)}}
