Shayera tenses, looking at the Hokage and waiting for his response. The young Uchiha seems riled up about something. If there was a rogue ninja in the village, of course the Hokage would go and detain him before training her. She turns away with a sigh. This is really taking much longer than she initially expected.
This is way more complicated than it needs to be, she thinks. All she wants to do is learn four jutsu, then she can leave and go back to Suna. Four of her clan's Shadow Release techniques. That shouldn't take this long. Kage Mane No Jutsu, Kage Kubi Shibari no Jutsu, Kage Nui no Jutsu, and Kage Mane Shuriken no Jutsu. She figures that's all she'll need to learn form this man to prepare for the Chuunin exams. She'll learn a second and third stage of Pi Qua Quan, Kamaitachi no Jutsu, Kaze Bunshin, Kaze Bakuhatsu, Suna Tsume, Daisan no Me, and maybe Kaze no Totsunyuu to be on the safe side. She fidgets with a kunai as she waits as patiently as she can. Desert Shadow

Leaf Village|Sannin|Taijutsu|Lothar Clan The clone saw Matsuya in the training grounds, and was glad that his guess had been correct. He ran forward to Matsuya. "Matsuya-sama, my squad is only a short while from returning from their mission. Nobody was seriously hurt, but I have an issue that will require your personal attention, and not that of any clone. Please meet me personally in the interrogation room of the ANBU HQ with a medium size cage in hand, preferably one with horizontal and vertical bars to prevent small things from leaving the cage. It should be at least a 3 by 3 by 3 cube." The clone saluted, and then poofed into a cloud of hot air now that it had expended all of its chakra with running and delivering the message.

"Graaah!", Taiji shouted in frustration. He was getting to the end of his rope with all of the hold ups.
"i'm gonna get that Aburame, you can count on that much."
and with that, Taiji made a mad dash back to the gates.

Matsuya had noticed Taji, there was no doubt about that. But Deil's issue seemed more important. His sannin wasn't ussually that rushed and demanding. But this was different. Matsuya made a handseal and a figure rose from his shadow. Matsuya looked at the clone. "Train her." He pointed to the girl and the clone nodded. Matsuya himself ran off towards the ANBU headquarters. He'd need to prepare the place for what Deil had said. Matsuya did feel some guilt in leaving Taji to do the mission alone. But he wouldn't punish the boy when he returned. It was Matsuya's own fault for not going with him.
EXIT
The clone looked at the girl. "Ok. First lesson, controlling your shadow." It made a simple handseal and his shadow started to squirm around him. "Focus you're chakra into the shadow around you. It may seem difficult, or even impossible, but it's not. Just concentraite and I know you'll get it." The clone smiled and watched the girl.

Shayera sighs, quickly growing irritated. Is no one in this godforsaken village going to let her learn the damn jutsu? And why the hell couldn't that guy just take care of the cage thing himself? Her training will take, at most, a few hours, and then she can leave. So why is no one going to let her train with the only person who can teach her the jutsu she needs? She aims a kick at a rock, not seeing that it is still half-buried in the ground. Her foot connects with the rough granite and she hisses in pain as her toe throbs, cursing a string of profanities under her breath that would raise every hair on her mother's head, had she heard Shayera's language. "Huh, you can never have too many clone jutsu... I think." Jubei wasn't so sure this would be as complicated as Sayuri had mentioned, as he was pretty sure he could perform this technique with little to no trouble at all. It was just another Bushin Jutsu, nothing too complicated, although it used top soil instead of the earth. He had an affinity for Doton elements, as well as Raiton and his Iron Sand, so he had no trouble figuring this one out. With a single hand sign, and some chakras, Jubei molded a perfect clone out of the top soil. It looked all right, he thought, but it was probably very fragile and almost useless unless used right. He'd know when to use the clone, hopefully. "All right, that's another clone jutsu down. I think I may be a natural at this learning thing." Jubei said, a smirk on his face as he dismissed the clone. It reverted back to its' base components, namely dust and soil, and fell back to the earth from whence it came.
[Koujin Bunshin no Jutsu (Dust Clone Technique) completed.
[Chakra= 28/32.]

[I'll Run back to the gate, I only looked in the valley of the end, because I didn't know where else to check that counted as the "Countryside. A thought ran through Taiji's head. "There were spots outside Konoha that I didn't check!"
after a momentary pause, he flipped a cigarette between his fingers, lighting it with his free hand, before sprinting off to the gates.

Shay sighs. Finally she'll get some training done. She carefully studies the clone and copies the handseal he makes. She pools her chakra into her shadow, which begins to squirm around her the way Matsuya's clone's did. She looks at him levelly, still concentrating hard, glad to be doing something at last.

Matsuya smiled. It was nice to see the girl was learning quickly. "Next is the Kage Mane no Jutsu - Shadow Imitation Technique. It's a staple of our clan. One of its first jutsu." Matsuya made the handseals for the jutsu and made is shadow latch onto Shayera. He moved his hand, and systematically hers did the same. Matsuya let his shadow retract and still. "Now you try. Move my hand like I moved yours."
[hope that doesn't count as god-modding. It was the only way I could think to teach it. sweatdrop ]

Kokirii blushed and thanked the Hokage, trying her best not to stumble over her words in her gratitude. Her pale eyes stood out, watching the various ninja train. She smiled lightly. She already had her first lesson planned out...
