Phimi blinked when the feathers scattered slightly, a giggle escaping her throat.
The giggle halted at his concern. "Oh, uh, yeah. I'm... fine. It just suprised me." She muttered, feeling her cheeks get hot and rubbing a paw on her nose to relief the tickle. Sometimes she was such an infant...

"Well as long as you're okay." He said smiling kindly at her. He then blew on a feather that was floating down in front of his face, sending it towards Phimi. "Catch."

Her head snapped up at the word 'catch'. Blinking at the floating feather, she had time to give Tsubasa a curious look before leaning forward slightly and "catching" the feather on her head. She giggled, standing and walking slowly to challenge herself to keep the feather on her head.

Tsubasa grinned at Phimi's curious look and at her 'catching' the feather. "Good job! Oh watch it! It's going to fall off." He cheered when he saw that she was trying to keep it on her head. He was standing up and wagging his tail watching her as she walked.

Phimi stuck her tongue out in concentration, happily distracted from her previous emberassment and usual nervousness. Her eyes crossed as she saw the tip of the feather moving at the top of her vision, freezing with one paw in the air.

Tsubasa smiled and tried not to laugh at how cute Phimi looked with her tongue sticking out while she concentrated. "Ooh! So close! It's almost over the edge!" He said crouching down. Oh he just want to do something to help!

Feeling safe to move again, Phimi had only gone a couple steps when she felt a sneeze coming one. Not yet! She closed her eyes and wrinkled her nose against it. Still, it came. She sneezed once, the feather falling off her head. Then she sneezed again, the feather blowing away.
"Don't let it hit the ground!" She yelped, play in her voice as she tried to hold off a third sneeze, shaking her head enough to make her ears flop softly.

Tsubasa looked slightly startled when Phimi sneezed. "Bless you!" He said darting for the falling feather. However he kicked up more feathers mixing them all up in the air. "Oh no! Which one were we playing with?!" He cried blowing all of the feathers up. Some feathers still fell and some even landed on him.

Phimi stopped, looking at all the feathers in confusion. "I don't know!" She laughed, scurrying forward to catch any of the feathers that she could. Ending up with some on her head and some on her back, she stood as still as she could manage, a big smile on her maw. "Now what do we do?"

Tsubasa had started to freeze as he realized that feathers were on him. But when Phimi asked him what they should do now he slowly lifted his head to look at her. "I dunno. Don't move?" He suggested before grinning, "How about sending them all up into the air and trying to get away from them before they land on us again?"

Phimi giggled while waiting for Tsubasa to answer. He had feathers all over! It looked like some of the ones they hadn't caught were drifting toward him too. Then she realized, she was laughing with someone she'd only met a few moments ago! She was relaxed! Mother would be proud!
She blinked to bering herself back from her thoughts as he spoke. "Okay. How do we do that? Jump? Shake?"

Tsubasa grinned at Phimi realizing that she was happy. "Shaking would work." He said, "Ready? 1....2....3..... SHAKE!" With that he began shaking sending the feathers flying up in the air. Grinning at Phimi he ran off with a laugh. He ducked down as a feather floated down towards him as he ran.

Phimi shook as hard as she could on que, then took off after Tsubasa. "They're coming after us!" She yelped, seeing some of the feathers get caught in the draft they created. "We need to go farther!"

Tsubasa looked back and saw that some feathers were indeed chasing them. "Okay! The tree line should be far enough." He called to her. He raced towards the trees and in a few minutes reached them. He stopped and began panting hard. "Did.... we.... get.... away?"

Phimi raced as fast as her legs would carry her, which wasn't actually very fast. Living most of her life hiding in the house didn't give her much chance to strengthen herself. Fit, but not really strong. She caught up after the male had stopped, panting as much, if not more, than Tsubasa. "I... think so..." She gasped as she turned to peek back at the porch. Some of the feathers had actually made it about half way. "Wow."
