Selce swore in frustration as only one person ran away. "Very well, I can't strike fear into your hearts maybe a squad of monks will." She mumbled to herself and cast a MIRROR IMAGE spell at Erron. She had first thought to use the spell on one of the orcs but that would likely only bring more people into the fray. She used a small mirror to reflect light at Erron as the spell finished.

Erron swears as their previous battles in the tomb have obviously effected their stamina and will to fight, all he wanted was to deliver the Dragon eye and get back to the Inn for a warm mug of ale, a bowl of whatever meat based stew they had and some fresh bread and butter to go along with it, then to hit the sack, he noticed Selce flashing a mirror at him out of the corner of his eye and surmised that since her previous spell didn't work as well as she had planned, perhaps she was going to be going for one of the other spells she had mentioned, he evaded the latest blow from the two and took several steps back
"Lets make these odds a bit more fair! You thought you had trouble with only one of me? Watch as my incredible speed makes me move so fast I'm everywhere and nowhere all at once!" ((What is the roll standard for Bluffing? Pass or Fail?))

Trying to ignore the stinging pain in both his hands, Brurag fell back into a defensive fighting stance. In the old language of his people he called out to the other orc "They are humans, brother! They cannot be reasoned with! They slaughter our kind as if we were animals! They have no respect for our people's honor and I doubt their leaders would care if two orcs died in the chaos of an angry mob!" He quickly put one hand around the other, which was balled into a fist, and rushed at the human attacking the other orc. He used the force of his hips turning and both his arms to launch a powerful strike at the male human's spine, hoping to disable him. However, he assumed that the human would be quite a bit more disabled than the other orc would have liked.

If Tjaden hadn't been dodging weapons, he probably would have sighed. He spoke in his native tongue, replying to the newly freed Orc. "Hate and violence turns all creatures into beasts, brother. They may lack respect, but even humans recognize that bloodshed is best avoided..." The clatter of weapons on his shield cut Tjaden off as he struggled to fend off the attacks with his defensive techniques. Tjaden saw the other Orc charge and maneuvered between the human and his fellow Orc. "Stop this at once." He said in human, "there is no sense in fighting!" His tone was firm and insistent.

Selce's Mirror Image spell effectively creates several copies of Erron which surround the two men confusing them, Laren's feathered friend dives onto Tjaden's foe tearing and clawing at him while Tjaden himself attempts to intercept Brurag's furious charge, The gallows still host the Paladin fighting the executor
3-6 Erron's threat fails, one of the mirror images is attacked and dissipates, Kal is unable to find a good opening with which to strike, Tjaden is unable to intercept Brurag who slams his fist into the distracted human's face for moderate damage, the Paladin is still within equal footing with the executor who is only able to cause minor damage through his stalwart defense. (4 Men Left, 1 Minor damaged, and 3 in full health.)
7-16 The combination of mirror images and threat scare away one of the two, the other is assaulted by Kal about the head with a blunt object for moderate non-lethal damage. Tjaden intercepts Brurag, and the Paladin deals moderate non lethal damage to his opponent, and Laren steps in to aid Tjaden who is busy with Brurag and knocks down the opponent at his back for minor non-lethal damage, the Paladin again causes moderate non-lethal damage. (3 Men left, 2 Injured, 1 Barely Scathed)
17-24 The bluff is a success, one man runs away post-haste, while the other man momentarily stands amazed before Kal knocks him out, Tjaden successfully intercepts Brurag and pushes him further from his target, Laren who enters the fray with the objective of disarming some of the fighters is successful in her endeavor and demands a yield from Tjaden's assaulter, In the mean time The paladin has dealt heavy non lethal damage to his opponent and also demanded he yield. (1 unconscious, 2 Left, Both demanded to yield, one heavily "wounded")

With a sudden realization that he was now fighting with only one assistant, the crazed prosecutor cried out:
"You're all traitors, every last one of you! You would defend these monsters than your own kind!"
The paladin retorted immediately:
"You are the traitor here, accuser, you have soiled the name of justice, and for that you shall pay!"
The prosecutor's blade soared in towards the paladin only to be batted away and to see the holy swordsman's weapon come full circle as it cleaved into his shoulder to his chest.
The crazed man fell to the ground and died while the only remaining fanatic, seeing this, lost all morale and fled the grizzly scene.
The paladin, after cleaning his blade, made his way to the two orcs, placing his hand on Tjaden's armored shoulder.
"You, my friend, are as much of a knight of the order as I. You have upheld justice this day. Please, come and see the Grand Patriarch as soon as you can."
Smiling and turning to the other orc, his face shifted expressions only slightly.
"I must apologize for the citizens of Haven. They are frightened by this war, as we all should be; however, what was done to you and what this man did," he said kicking the corpse in its ribs," is not an acceptable response. I would not suggest wandering alone on the streets at the moment. I can not grant protection for you and the city guard may think you are hostile. I would suggest traveling beside your savior here. He has been granted the sponsorship of our Grand Patriarch and is under his wing."
The paladin bowed before all of the group and bid his farewell as he made his way back to the Temple District.

"Well," Laren said while putting her blades away and letting Zues land on her arm once more, "That went better than I had hoped. We should go see the Ruling Council post haste. Then, make our leave of this town soon after."

Selce grinned happily as she nodded in agreement to Laren. She moved toward the crowd of Erron's and poked at them with her quarterstaff, seeking to dissipate the copies and find the real one. "Don't shift about Erron or I may hit you instead." She said to the group of monks.

Kal chuckled. "The magical council and the grand patriarch. Quite a pair we have to see," he added. This would be quite a day for them. "We also might want to catch up on our rest before heading out. I believe our lack of rest would be bad for a travel, unless we know the exact distance to the next town. I'd rather not have another battle in our unrested state," he spoke up.

Tjaden nodded to the Paladin. "My thanks, good knight. May you always seek Righteousness and find Justice." As the Paladin left, Tjaden nodded to Laren and laughed at Kal's comment. He then turned to his Orcish brother.
"I would not insult you by insinuating you need a savior, but I'm sure it is the halfling you have to thank for your escape. Only he could have loosened the lock unnoticed. I am Tjaden Sunsei." Tjaden held out his hand. "What shall I call you, brother Orc?"

The Chorus of his own voice surprised him as he spoke, there were still a few mirror images to dissipate.
"What do you suppose, should half the party go to report to the Council while the rest go to meet the Grand Patriarch? Or shall we all go togeth- Oof! He got a slight knock to the ribs as Selce found the genuine article
"Couldn't you just decant the spell or something?" He said with good nature and a smile, after spending an entire day underground and meeting with an angry mob soon after, he was in surprisingly high spirits as the only obvious thing ahead of them after returning the Orb and going to meet with the Patriarch was a good meal and a night of rest

Kal enjoyed a nice laugh at the monk's exspense. Selce jabbing him instead of the last clone was great slapstick comedy. Something about being tired was giving him a light feeling. "I believe we should see them both all together. They both deserve nothing less than our full party. Going in half's may seem slightly disrespectful, as if we are in too much of a rush to see them both fully, no?" he analyzed and asked.

((Umm Tonas how would Malkor be doing right now in the health area?))
Selce grinned in reply and poked the rest of the images into nothingness. "I could do have but there is no fun in that." She laughed at Erron and prodded him weakly with the staff.
She checked the wrappings on the Orb before walking over to Tjaden. She listened quietly at the introductions and warily eyed the small amount of people still out after the small fight. "I guess a couple of fanatics are nothing when we just beat a tomb full of everything else." She joked.

"I don't know," Laren said in reply to Selce's comment, "That Malfius was a fanatic was he was a very difficult fight indeed."
The elf then began to move on saying, "Come, we are waisting valuable time and people are begining to stare."

Nodding to the paladin, Brurag said to him "Thank you for fighting along side me, despite your people's protest. My honor has been avenged, that is all that matters now." He nodded his head and looked to the other orc, normally he would've gone on a verbal rampage at the other orc for showing such hesitation during battle, and most of all, stopping him from killing the man who had tried to kill him moments earlier. Considering the circumstances though, he did not say a word about that. He owed these people his life. He looked at the other orc's outstretched arm strangely then remembered the greet he had seen the humans give eachother during his lifetime. He took the other orcs hand and awkwardly shook it. He looked to the others and nodded silently with much gratitude to all of them. No longer quite concerned with what it was they were speaking of, he thought back to his equipment. It had taken all the humans in the group to put him in the cage and he didn't see any left behind so his weapons and armor should still be a short distance outside the city. "My weapon's and armor are still in the encampment not far past the walls of this city."
