Maybe...I'm about to type up step 12...(but in all honesty, it takes me less than 5 minutes to make an Environment now because it's really easy once you know how.)

Alright, it took me a while, but here is the definition of an environment as well as instructions on how to make one. (The instructions seem long and complicated, but I'm just going into uber detail.)
TekTek Environment: A version of TekTek's Dream Avatar creator where the only options available are items in your inventory at the time you make the Environment.
How to make an Environment:
1. Have TekTek open in separate tab/window (it doesn't matter which.)
2. On TekTek, click on "Gaia Items"
3. Once the "Gaia Items" page has loaded, scroll down while looking at the column on the right.
4. At the bottom of that column, there is a box called "User Tools." In that box, click on the link called "tektek+ Avatar"
5. On that page, there are instructions about how to make the Environment. (Read my instructions anyway. I have handy tidbits of info. xD) Start by clicking the inventory link that they give you.
6. Assuming you're logged in to Gaia, a new tab/window will open to you inventory. Now click on the TekTek tab/window for the next step. (Note: DO NOT click any of the inventory tabs)
7. On the TekTek page, there should be an image on the right about how to see your page source if you don't already know how. (It's slightly different for each browser. TekTek shows you the way for whatever browser you're using for that page.) Make sure you know how to do that and then go back to your Inventory.
8. From the Inventory page, follow the image on your TekTek to open the Source of you Inventory page. A new window will open with the html coding for that page.
---8.5. Scroll down to the bottom of your inventory and see if you have multiple pages of items.
9. Back to the Page Source, select all and copy everything in the box.
10. Go to TekTek and post the Source in the box that already has the text "This is where you paste the source from your GaiaOnline inventory." (Note: You do not want those words there. Delete them.)
11. Now one of two things will happen. If you only have one page of Inventory, it will go straight to what I talk about in step 12. However, if you have more than one page of Inventory a page will come up that says, "You have multiple inventory pages" and some directions on what to do next. DO NOT follow those directions. Go to the bottom of the page and click "Skip this."
12. A page will then load that is titled "Item Information." This page will tell you how much gold you are worth and you can look and see the value of every item that counts towards your worth. That's not what we're worried about though. You can look around on that page, but when you're done, click on "Create tektek+ Avatar" (near the top of the page).
---12.5. I should also mention at once the Item Information page comes up, you can close out of both your Inventory on Gaia and the Page Source window.
13. The next window to load will look just like the regular Dream Avatar creator. The only difference is that if you were to go Items, only items you own would be there. Don't deal with the items for now. What you want to do on this page is create your base. You can choose nothing and just save it empty, but I recommend selecting the skin, hair, and eyes you want on you avi. (Basically, make it look exactly like it does in the Dressing Room on Gaia, but without the default undies.)
14. Once you have your base created, click "Save Avatar." Just like with Dream Avis, a window will come up that says "Finish avatar?" and you just click OK, Yes, Continue, or whatever the option is on your browser.
15. You have now reached a page headed, "tektek+ Avatar Created!" Good Job! Now you just share the link they give you with anyone you would like to make you an avi.
