Ayise stared down at him, her legs dangling from the side of the branch. "..." She turned away and yawned, "Ki-kun, this the one I was talking about," She said apparently talking to the air, "-Yes, I understand." She jumped down from the tree and narrowed her eyes at him,
"..." There was a distinct cracking sound, "Well, how did you expect me to take it? I-I'm angry..." She reached into her bag and pulled out Advanced Physics, "Brace yourself." She said calmly, before backhanding him with the heavy book, "Okay, now I forgive you."

Kumizu was about to ask why he should brace himself when Ayise swung the book at him. He fell to the ground, actually seeing stars before his eyes. "Ungh... was... was that really necessary?" He felt the back of his head, then looked at his hand. Yup. Blood. This time he rubbed the back of his head, and the wound was healed. See if I ever try to save her life again.
He stood up and stumbled a bit, until he was finally able to overcome the dizziness and stand with the cane. On the bright side, his leg wasn't bothering him at the moment. Kumizu grabbed an apple from the tree and took a bite. "Okay, I have to ask. Who are you talking to?"

Ayise glared, "Of course, it was totally nescssary. Who asked you to save my life? I wouldn't have been in danger if it wasn't for you." She said sulking, "I was talking to Kii-kun, duh." She said looking at him as if he was the crazy one.
"Kii-kun said that you're a helpless buffoon and can't help yourself so I should forgive you for-...taking away my first kiss." She looked like a deflated balloon. Becoming increasingly depressed.

Tell Kii-kun he can go ******** himself. As soon as he thought it, he focused back on the apple, just in case she was trying to read his mind. Then all she'd hear is Mmm... delicious.
"Look, I was just trying to save your life. The hospital was too far away, if I had just taken you there you would have died. I couldn't think of anything else I could do. For what it's worth... it was my first kiss too." Kumizu said all of this calmly, reassuringly. So what if it wasn't my first- mmm... delicious.

"Liar, don't say things that aren't true." She said turning her head, "I didn't even have to read your mind to know that, your aura is untruthful."
She dug her feet into the ground sullenly. A thin black snake with red eyes slithered from her shoulder around her neck, "You just don't quit do you? Why don't you try telling the truth or being nice?" She asked with a puppydog look on her face, "You drive off people who just want to be you friend..." She seemed to have stopped mid-sentence although the thought sounded complete.

This time Kumizu was the one to turn away. He took a bite of his apple without saying a word. Then another. Then another...
Once he had finished, he tossed the core onto the ground. Not in a fit of rage. Just... emotionlessly. He still didn't say a word, or turn to look at her.

She ran around him and stood directly in front of him, "It's rude to ignore someone who's talking to you." She frowned and looked kind of hurt. the sanke had slithered over onto her arm now, though she seemed not to be paying it any mind to it.
"Are you doing this on purpose? Do you really hate others that much? 'Cause I can guess this is why you're being this way. If you want ot be alone then leave no one's forcing you." She was glaring at him and leaning in to make sure he was listening.

Kumizu walked right past Ayise and sat down on a bench nearby. He withdrew the bottle, opened it, and took a long swig. No, you can't have any. It was almost gone, he'd need to get it refilled.
He pocketed it with a sigh, the one noise he made more often than his cane tap, it seemed. He leaned forward, onto the cane, and rested both hands on it, and his head on his hands. He was just watching the people around, playing on the different things in the playground. Whether Ayise wanted to sit next to him or not was her choice.

"Don't ignore me." She leaned in, taking the bottle from him. Tossing it aside she placed her knees on his thighs and pulled on his face, "Listen when someone speaks to you." She frowned, "Just because you don't like telling or even listening to the truth doesn't mean you can pretend like I don't exsist."
She pulled harder on his cheeks, "Speak to me Kumi-chan." She almost ordered becoming a little bothered by his silence.

Kumizu frowned. The bottle hadn't broken, but the rest of its contents spilled out onto the grass. Great. Now I need to get that refilled.
"I've heard every word that you've said, I've just been ignoring you.... You want the truth? I don't have a home. I'm a runaway. I've been like this for most of my life, which I'll tell you is longer than any human's. I'm over 2000 of your "Earth" years old, and almost all of that time I've been on the run. I've learned not to trust people, not to tell the truth, and sometimes to just... run. I don't expect to be here long. God only knows when he'll find me again.
"It's just that the people who get close to me die... or disappear." He turned and wiped the eye farther away from Ayise, then looked down at his glove in surprise. My... tear? I can't remember the last time I cried...

Ayise looked at him, "Don't cry, Kumi-chan." She tilted her head, "Does it look like I'll disappear or die? And God, don't get me started on age, it's nothing but a number people try to use to measure how long it will be until your life is over. Isn't it obvious I don't care about that. I'm not a child, I make my own discisions on who I associate myself with."
"I like you, you're...strange...but at least if you have single friend you have somewhere to run to." She grinned, "I may be blonde but I'm not stupid ya' know." She paused a moment, "...!" A large stressmark appeared on her forehead, "What do you mean you won't be here long?!" She grabbed his shoulders and shook hm, "Just where do you think you're going?!"

Kumizu just looked at her, his eyes cleared. "First off, you don't want me to answer that question. Secondly, as to age... I don't. I was born this way. Personally, I'm glad I look like an older teen than an old man or a baby.
"And no, I don't have a friend I can run to. Any true friend I've actually had has had to run with me. I've actually got a sister out there. She's married, and even has a kid. But, we agreed long ago that any time we got together it would last no more than three days. I haven't seen her in years. I only go in emergencies."
He looked at her blankly as she shook him. "I don't know how long I'll be here. Maybe a day, maybe a year. And... I never know where I'm going. I just... go. I leave most of my stuff behind, and keep the clothes on my back, the cane, and the items I can either carry or fit into a pocket. Luggage would slow me down, and that's the last thing I need." He added quietly, "Sometimes a person does too."

"Wah, Wah, Wah, don't you ever quit whining? You'll stay until I say you can leave," She insisted, "I'm sure your sister misses you, and I'm not even going to ask what you mean about a person weighing you down because you're condeming yourself; if you stay you can be normal and have friends and...stuff. If you keep on running whatever it is will keep on chasing you. You see?"
She hopped onto her own feet, "So are we going to keep wallowing in self-pity?" She took his head in her hands and forced him to shake 'no', "We're going to stay positive and not think about bad stuff, right?"

And if I stay, he'll catch up with me, and then neither of us will be running. "Hey, I never had sex with this 'person'! That's not what I mean by it and you know it." Be normal. Right.
Kumizu took her hands off of his face. "I try not to think about 'bad stuff', but we aren't going to get into that." He thought for a moment. "If I want to stay positive, the first thing I need to do is get that refilled." He walked over and picked up the spilled bottle. Oddly, he wasn't annoyed by it, he just knew it needed to be done. "Okay, I've got a couple of things I need to get first. If you want to come, just meet me at the Asura Labs."

"I never said you 'did' anything with...that person." She crossed her arms, looking a bit sullen. "It's late, I've got to check in or my sister will worry about me. You should do whatever it is in the morning so I can go too." She insisted, "You need to get your rest, Oh, and how exactly am I supposed to know what you mean? Hey, Whatever you two had between you is none of my buisness." She sulked more, "A-Anyway, it's time for you to to sleep."
'Maybe he'll have a concussion and never wake up...' Ayise sweatdropped, her inner thoughts making themselves known. She smiled nervously, "Well? It can wait."
