Reaper's smile grew in return, his face now developing a shade of color. He felt his heart softly pound away in his chest again, but didn't think much of it this time. "I suppose considering all the things I could be getting into..." he said. "Maybe I'm just hoping this will grant me some privileges when he does come back."

"Like a TV?" she asked, rolling her eyes. "God, I still cannot believe the man doesn't own one. Oh, did you get the ... " she gestured vaguely. "DZD thing? I didn't know how to play it." Cat was still trying to wrap her head around the idea that there were people from different times in this world. She was from the early 1970's, and had no idea what to DO with most of the crap she saw around.

Reaper's smile grew wider, and he carefully reached into one of the large pockets of his jacket. He pulled out the slim case a moment later and held it up. "I did." he replied. "I'd been meaning to thank you for it as well. I didn't get a chance to watch it yet. But...I'm sure I could 'borrow' a tv and DVD player from a nearby store for a while. I'm sure I've earned something like that as of now." he replied, then paused a moment. "I, uh, I could also show you how to use it in case we ever get out of this house again and you'd like to watch other movies."

She brightened. "That would be really nice. There are so many buttons on everything, now." The whole thing was actually really embarrassing. She had a legitimate excuse, but that didn't stop her from coming off as an idiot child when she was asking about the latest technology.

Reaper grinned. "Alright. There's not really much we can do at the moment anyway. Where would you like to like to set it up at?"

Cat sobered a little. "I'm not sure," she admitted, "I don't want to bother anyone. That mage is actually trying to get something done, I think."

Reaper nodded, his smile still in place. "Well, I did come across a spare room upstairs that should be out of the way." he replied. He wasn't going to say HOW he came across the room. Though she might understand his need to escape boredom with dominoes. "Move the furniture around a bit and it should have enough room for a flat screen."

Reaper shifted a bit. Right...had to keep in mind that she wasn't from the present time. What all did they have in the 70's? Never really payed attention to history. "Yep. I'll show you once I can transport one over here. They're flat enough that you can set it on the table and still have most of the table to use. Or we could hang it up on the wall..." he replied, then thought a moment. "I could probably bring over some other smaller electronics that would probably be new for you. Or at least a magazine of some kind that would show them."

The grin was back, though it looked a little wry. "Thanks. Seeing as I'm usually asked to steal technology of some kind, having some kind of baseline would be nice."

"Alright." Reaper replied with a small smile.
A shadow wrapped around the chair under Reaper and Cat, and quickly engulfed the two of them. A moment later the darkness dissapeared and they were sitting at a small table in a small room. The room seemed to be nothing more than a small lounge or study. Just a small table in the center of the room, a bookshelf on on wall, a couch on another wall, and cabinets and shelves across the others.
Reaper glanced over at the shelves, then over at the couch. A moment later everything began to move and slide across the floor, creating more room and creating a long table across the wall. A few moments after that, the surface of the furniture turned completely black and various peices of technology rose from them.
A large flat screen tv appeared on the wall. Under that was a dvd player, surround sound, an i-pod, a cd player, a cell phone, a smart phone, a digital camera, a computer, a laptop, some travel drives, and a few magazines on the latest technology.

A cat-like, female voice spoke over any and all X-Coms:
"Any available X-Men, this is Kesshou. There are Sentinel type beings attacking Gotham City. Please help."
Then Remy's voice came back over the coms
"Hey Chere! I'm stuck in Metropolis. I'll have to catch the next one alright?"
