Scarlett walked calmly, her MA5B inches away from ready-to-fire position. It seemed clear, but she still felt uneasy. The newly assigned Corporal took tentative steps inside the entrance, being one of the first to check if it was clear. Her rifle aimed at the ready as she stepped into darkness. She turned on her helmet light. Still, it was empty....for now.

Mendez crept past the Corporal stationed at the entrance and Saluted the Lieutenant. "Structure Secure Sir, Do we go in?"

"We need to get these wounded In orbit now! Or we're gonna loose them!" said the cheif surgeon of the operations, But the wounded wouldn't get to fly until the Lieutenant gave the green light. Sergent Bisenti was feeling ...strange...not a bad strange, nor a good one...The world was spinning and he felt weak...

TheFierceKnight Mendez crept past the Corporal stationed at the entrance and Saluted the Lieutenant. "Structure Secure Sir, Do we go in?" Mathias nodded and replied, "Nice work Gunny. Command is forbidding ANYONE from going into the structure for the time being. I want guards posted at the entrance. Nothing goes in, nothing comes out..Also, take roll call. I want to know who all we have left. Get it done." The Lieutenant finished with a salute to the Gunnery Sergeant.

Lieutenant Twombley, This is Lieutenant Brennan of the Black Operation Team Delta. Right now we are currently on the captured Covenant Carrier.
We are running this transmition on a short band length because thats all we could get in this pile. Give us your current location, Over.

An unfamiliar voice came in over his com, filling his ear. He hadn't been aware of Delta for quite awhile, since before the first engagement with the Covenant at the former Alpha Base. Mathias replied after a moment of though;
'Roger that Lieutenant...'
Mathias hesitated for a second for a second to give out their position, wondering if the Covenant would be listening in on the conversation, he finally said it though.
'Current position is several clicks east of Alpha Base. We are at the one of the entrances to Halo's inner confines. Over...'

Roger that. We have a lock on your location. Listen, We found a blueprint of what looks like the inner area's of Halo. You are currently 7 clicks away from the elevator to the Flood Main door.
We're your eye in the sky. If you need directions, just radio us. Also, these Plasma turrets have a long range. If you ever need air support, we'll send Plasma down their throats. Just holler if you need anything.

Kristi sighed realizing noone was coming down she continued farther inward. about half an hour passsed and she came to a large door with a encoded panel to the right of it, -Yo mathias, found a door down here, i thin ki found the entereance to this hell hole-. her transmition only made it with the first two words. She was so far into the entereance to the ring that her transmition was being cut dramatically.

Howie heard a few staticed words over his com and thought it might be kristi. Howie ran over to mathias and said "Sir, I belive Kristi has enterd the ring. I'm not sure, but it seems like something she would do."

Mathias got a curious look upon his face and stood up to face the entrane of the Halo structure. Kristi's message was garbled after the first couple words. A moment later, Howie rushed over to him reporting having heard the same thing. "Yeah I got the same message. I think your right, she wandered inside." Mathias desperately tried to send a message to Kristi to get her back to the surface;
'Kristi, do not, I repeat, DO NOT open that door. Let it alone and return to the surface immediately!' He hoped the message would get to her, but he wasnt sure if it would. The Lieutenant sent an urgent message to Captain Resnick on the current situation.
'Captain! Be advised, SPARTAN Kristi has entered into the confines of Halo..'

Kristi nodded softly to herself, -if yo usay so sir....-. She heard only this in the transmittion,-Kristi do....open door-. she unclipped a device from her right thigh armor secton and placed it on the archaic numberpad pressing numbers.
