Abby blinked, wondering why Tim didn't really react; she had always assumed a boy would freak out. She frowned slightly in thought about this for a moment or two, then shrugged, looking up at her brother, who put a hand on her shoulder and grinned.
"I bet'cha had an adventure, huh?" he asked her, and she grinned widely and nodded.
"It was kinda scary... but it was more adventure than I've ever had in my whole life, bro!" Abby said happily, and Aiden grinned.
"Well, I'm glad yer safe, Sis," he said, and then Abby told him why she was safe: Her good luck powers. She expected her older brother to be shocked, but he just grunted.
"Can't say'm surprised, Abby," he said to her. "Four-leaf clover as a birthmark on ya, after all." Then he moved over to Tim and extended his hand.
"Aiden O'Connor, friend. Abby's me youngest siblin', and I can't tell ya how thankful I am that you've watched out for her. It means a lot t' me. If there's anythin' you need, anythin' at all, just ask me."

Tim took Aiden's hand in a shake.
"Tim. Er... Robin."
He shrugged a bit. Even though "secret identities" kinda got shot down the toilet, he still wasn't accustomed to introducing himself by his own name out in the "field". Even so, he was careful about revealing his full name. Batman would probably have his head if he exchanged anything more than "Tim", despite the fact that the cave itself appeared to have its own traffic issues.

"Robin?" Aiden asked, and he looked surprised, accidentally cutting Tim off. "So... so... it's real? Batman, and... and this cave, it's... all real? I've only seen things like movies and comics about that..."
Abby's eyes widened. She was crushing on a comic book character?! She walked over to him, feeling numb, and her eyes were wide. Unconsciously, she put a hand on his cheek, then moved to his clothes, and then down to one of his hands. It all felt real....

Arell smirked at Aiden. "Hate t' say I tol' ya so, che', but despite threat of gettin' nailed where de sun don't shine . . ." he said, with an aside glance at Abby and back to Aiden. "Tol' ya so." he said.

"Uhm...........yes?"
How else to respond to the question "You're real?" Tim thought back to when Jinx explained the whole 'comics' thing... this removed some of the confusion in Robin's mind. At this point, he was looking down at Abby.
".....what are you doing?"
He chuckled a bit and realized she had the same reaction as Aiden.

"So..." Abby said softly, looking down at Tim's hand-- which she was holding. "So... we're in... a comic book?"
"Unlikely," came a new, mechanical voice, and Abby looked up to see Brigade walking down the steps of the Batcave toward the others.
"We have been studying metaphysical theories involving alternate universes. Commonly accepted theories state that there are an infinite number of possible universes, separated by space, time, and dimensions. In our universe, the comic books that published stories relating to Batman, Robin, and related heroes in a shared universe were collectively called 'The DC Multiverse', as the comic book company that published them was called 'DC'. We recognize that other heroes in this Merged Multiverse, such as Spider-Man, Captain America, and Wolverine exist within the comics multiverse published by Marvel Comics. All universes within DC continuity were destroyed in the 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' event, and reformed into a 'New Earth', which was later split into fifty-two divergent universes. The New Earth continuity is the continuity that the Drake-Timothy you are standing in front of is from; however, recent records indicate that he is not the correct age. In modern comics continuity, he is several years older than he is at this moment."
Abby and Aiden looked to Brigade, and their mouths hung open in shock. Abby was a bright girl, but this was way over her head.

Tim crossed his arms; he watched Brigade intently as the multi-verses were explained.... Robin hadn't experienced the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" but he knew about other 'dimensions', along with the Infinite-Earths issue before he was ever Robin. So, unlike Abby and Aiden, Tim was able to keep up with what Brigade was speaking about. Another detail caught his attention- he was younger?
"That'd explain why Kai knew what happened......... 'happens'--- to my dad........ any theories as to what caused this multi-verse collision then?"

A previously asleep Crystal put her finger up in the air. "Gods!" She announced. She had woken up in tome to hear Brigade's explanation.
She sat up and stretched. She winced slightly before getting up and hopping off the boat. "Or people breaking the dimension barriers one too many times. Although the latter wouldn't explain why the big heroes like Batsy, Sups, Flash... Barry, and others of the JLA are not in this world."
She looked to Tim then to each person around the room. "There are several, quote, 'sidekicks' running around and even multibles of some, like the different Robins, and yet no big name heroes. It's like some Fifth Dimension being is trying to destroy the balance between good and evil for the side of evil."
Crystal knew, all too well, a few dwellers of the Fifth Dimension and most she didn't quite take a liking to. "The one I've been thinking might be behind all this is Mr. Mxyzptlk..." (MIX-ill-plik)
She then though about the comments she made. "Either that or Larry broke his finger again..."
Artemis stared at the group, having stayed quiet the entire time, cleaning himself.

Then suddenly came a soft voice from off deep in the cave. "Hello?.... Any body out there?... I'm all alone...."
There sat Jack, in a random, shallower pit, in the back of the Batcave. He had just woken up and didn't know where he was but it wasn't long before his voice echoed through the cave again, louder this time. "Where the heck is my car?!"

Another voice, this one sounding exactly like Gilbert Gottfried, whom Abby, Aiden, and Arell would know about from their universe, was heard, responding to Jack's.
"Ya car's over in the Gobi Desert, ya dope!"
Then a short, floating man with an oversized head and seemingly cartoonish features appeared above the main group. To Abby and Aiden, he seemed to be a bit like a leprechaun.
"Ha! Poor guy was just in the right place at the right time... For me, that is!" Mr. Mxyzptlk said, both to himself and to the group, and then he looked over to Crystal.
"Hey there, Toots. By the way, my name is pronounced 'Mix-yez-spit-lick'. Why can't people ever get it right?"

Tim immediately face-palmed.
"Great, right when we were having a meaningful discussion-"
As Robin murmured he crossed his arms and observed the "5th dimension being" that had suddenly popped before them, drawing all the attention. Was this really necessary?

Crystal looked back at Mxyzptlk. "Because you're name is way too hard to pronounce, Mixie-pie." Crystal waved a hand at him as if he was a mosquito.
"Yah any who this is the Fifth Dimension-er that I was telling y'all about. A thorn in my side." She spoke as if he wasn't even important, goading him on.

Arell looked at Mxy- uhh . . . lemme try that again. Myxyp- no . . . MXYZPTLK!! That's the one! "Che', you pick some weird people t' 'ssociate yerself with." he said, pulling out his hip flask. Fortunately he still had some left. Of course, he was still a little sore from what went down a little before, but it looked like he was just casual, and leaving sobriety behind.

Tim kept his arms crossed as he nodded to Crystal. She wasn't the only one this guy had visited. A real 'troublemaker'...
