"It is possible, with my powers," assured Ana. She looked at the boy. "We did. It is strange that they aren't here. Not even him."

The other girl looked around and saw the cave in. "Ana, perhaps they fell through there," said the girl.

"Good. Alex and Sato, go in. Nocturne and Nova, you keep checking everywhere else. Sora, stay with me," ordered Ana.

The boy that was with the wind girl went over to the entrace with Alex. Then a water foutain burst up. Sato and Alex got on and rode the water down.

Meanwhile Sonya and Markus were still going on when Sonya heard the water. "Sounds like someone's coming after us," she said. She began to fly faster. "What do we do Markus?"

"Right..." With a quick gesture the fountain burst and he and Alex went down. "Wait a second....why am I looking for her...she's got lightning...." stressed He kept going though. "We need to have a long talk about stuff like this..."

"Well, not much like this...." He admitted. "Just get us up to the main floor....who knows maybe they've already been taken care of...?" He doughted it.

sweatdrop "Found them....please come up to the main floor...." Was all one boy said and turned to head back up. Once there he peeked down the hole every few seconds. "They're coming...." He told Ana. stare "And next time...send someone who isn't alergic to electrisity down looking for her...."

Pietro frowned. "I don't buy it," he said, still eying "Ana" suspiciously. "How do we know that you're for real?" he asked.

As if on cue, a few words began to echo through the minds of the X-Men and Brotherhood. The voice was perfectly familiar.

If they are not legitimate, began the telepathic voice of Charles Xavier, Then they are capable of building mental constructs to a degree I've never seen before. Indeed, if they COULD, that would only further prove they were from the future, as Cerebro has never detected a telepath of such skill...

Hmmph, aside from yourself, thought Pietro sarcastically.

Pietro then grew a bit softer as he saw Ana. Indeed, she had grown into quite a beautiful young woman... though there was a sadness to her eyes, and even a bit of coldness. And of course, for her to risk coming back in time, whatever had happened to her must have been horrible. "Ana, what happened?" he asked.

Meanwhile, Sonya would receive a different message from Xavier. Sonya dear... distance yourself from the institute for at least a few hours... you may be in danger, but I dare not say more unless they intercept this... was all she would have heard before his mind went silent, for now...

"Well...who would have thought Charlie was still around?," Jacen asked to no one in particular. Of course, it had been a rather lengthy time since Jacen had last seen the Professor, let alone have one of his infamous telepathic interruptions. And that was something that was going to have to change soon.

Noticing that Penance had her hand resting on his shoulder, he instinctively met his hand to hers before standing up straight. He did feel wrong, almost dizzied, but he was getting better. He coughed a few times before his voice actually came around, and started to quiz the young girl who obviously had her attention transfixed on Jacen.

"You.....you're staring at me...," Jacen said before realizing that Penance was also being looked over, "And Ev too. I don't suppose..."

Yes. You are my parents, she projected into his mind. He wasn't sure if anyone else was a part of this conversation, and he wasn't sure if he wanted others to be part of it either.

"Nooooo...," Jacen said before laughing nervously, "Bullshit. That can't be."

You and mother went to your senior prom together. Hardly did she know you, yet she took the risk. Jacen was slightly put off. He knew that their first 'date' wasn't a secret to anyone, but how this girl knew about it....

And she told me about the time when she was nearly certain you had died because of..... the voice had disappeared suddenly and there was nothing but silence and some stray thoughts running through Jacen's head.

"Because of Exodus...," Jacen finished her sentence before looking directly into her eyes. They weren't black, nor were they gray. They were a darkened, ashen blue color. It appeared to be a perfect mix of both parents' eye colors, only the blue was due to Jacen's natural eye color. The black only appeared during the eruption of his mutant ability. He wasn't telepathic, nor was he empathic, or have any other mental abilities, but he could tell this girl was not lying. Something in his gut told him this was the truth.

"Can you at least speak to me...physically?," Jacen asked. He was met with stone-cold silence. Annoyed by this, Jacen got an angry look...one that was reciprocated by the girl. In some strange way, Jacen felt like he was looking at himself. "Ok...can you at least tell me your name?"

Alexandria. Alex to most, Silence to the rest.

"Alexandria...," Jacen repeated to himself.

"Alexandria?," Penance asked, "Talking with her I assume?"

"Have been for awhile, dear," he replied, "And for whatever reason, none of them are not lying. They can't be lying...."

"Prove it."

"Give me a minute to piss that girl....Alex off, then you'll see what I mean," Jacen said as he started to concentrate his aura solely at Alexandria. He needed his point proven, and quick.

Penance wanted and didn't want to believe what was going on. Logic wanted her to disbelieve anything here. But when was anything the X-Men EVER faced logical? They've seen everything that shouldn't be possible. She put a hand on Jacen's good arm and without words he held back from what he was going to do.

Penance looked at the girl who had that look in her eyes. The look Penance knew. That look of loss from a long time ago. Penance had that look for years. And for the first time in a long time she took down her own defenses.

Why don't you speak, little girl... The connection was there immediately. She knew it would be. Just the way she and her mother had formed one. She knew herself. Had she children in the future with this ability, she would form the bond as well.

The girl didn't have to tell her anything. Penance saw the visions in her own mind that Alexandria sent to her.

I'm sorry you have to live through such things. Penance was very saddened for the children after seeing what she saw. Wrinkling her brow and looking visibly upset for a moment, Penance looked at Jacen, "She hasn't spoken since her father died and won't now that her mother is gone."

"X-men and children, Come," Penance motioned to the group of people starting to form in the main corridor. She looked at Sasha, Pietro, and Markus and anybody else there who didn't fall under the X-Men title, "All of you come to. Scott can kiss my a**, we're going to the War Room. We can sort this out there. We don't need to be on display."

After some hesitation, she was followed. An ocular scan later, they were in the War Room with Penance sitting at the head. She was the senior X-Man at the moment as non others cared to show up. She glanced around the room knowing that Regina had followed them just not sure where she was at the moment. Penance's fifteen minutes had been up about twenty minutes ago.

"You say that Xavier is in danger and you're after somebody," Penance looked at the group of children, "I'm not here to stop you but before I dive the X-Men into something, I need more details from you. And don't act like you can do this on your own. You may come from a darker future than today, but I know you can use our help."

Morgan now stood in the War Room among the others down there. His tie was now indone, his jacket hung open, and his sleeves were rolled up. Wearing his nice suit was great during a nice dinner, but thie was hardly a nice dinner anymore. He still didn't entirely trust these new arrivals, and he wanted complete freedom of movement should things turn ugly. He kept a watchful eye on the proceedings, not really caring who was aware of his displeasure at this.

He didn't really care whose kids they were; they deliberately attacked the mansion, and were he to have his way, they'd all have been thrown in the brig. It may have sounded heartless, but Morgan didn't like to take chances in situations like this.

He turned to Cathy, wondering what she thought of all this.

Raze had also followed the group down to the War Room, after making sure that Rachael was alright. He stood off to the side, nervously tugging at his gloves. Actually, he wasn't quite sure what to feel right now, so nervousness was the first thing that spread to mind.

From the future? The idea hit her like a ton of bricks straight in the face. Had she have never been a mutant and joined up in this evolutionary war, she would never have believed it, but since things hadn't gone that way, she took it in stride and accepted it as the norm.

Under the semi-reluctant orders of Penance, Victoria picked herself off the floor and followed the rest of the students to the War Room, carefully avoiding the large hole in the floor. After the group of them filed into annoyingly shiny room, she took her preffered place in the back of the room. She sighed and flipped little chucks of food from off her sweater while waiting for futher information.

Kris had heard very little of the conversation. What he had made little to no sense to him. The only clear thing he had heard was to go to the war rrom, so h had followed. However, he was not in the room, rather, on the left side of the doorway (on the outside.) His head lowered, eyes closed.
In this position, he de-armors and begins to ponder what he has heard. Strange visitors on a mission from the future. Right now, he just wanted to listen, to understand what was going on, and become enlightened on the subject.
"........" Sighing internally, he once again, recalls all he has delt with. It seems like his life had suddenly become much more interesting.

Jacen couldn't help but look at both Alexandria and Evelyn. They both seemed to be feeling each other out slightly, but then when he heard what Evelyn had said when she looked him dead in the eye...it stunned him a bit.

"Her...father..died?," he asked, perplexed, as he felt a gentle squeeze on his shoulder. "How?"

"Not now, Jace," Penance said before she started to take charge of the situation. Another one of those pesky traits of her's that he admired; her courage. Before he knew it, he was trailing the small group of mutants to the War Room. Alex seemed to be walking closer to Penance, like she had more of a connection to her than she did to her father. He didn't know why, but that made him think for a second. Why did he die?; how did he die?; why did he feel sadness and remorse for the girl? Was it because of the way that Penance looked at him? He only saw that look twice that he could remember. The first time, when under Ahab's dominance, he impaled her on his energy blade. The second....after emerging from twenty tons of stone rubble.

To his chagrin, he heard the doors opening to the War Room, and filed in like the rest of them. He looked at Penance and smiled as she took the head seat at the table. Not that it help to flash a smile of reassurance, but he figured it wouldn't hurt either. Naturally, he didn't take a seat at the table. He never did when it was time to formulate attack plans or to partake in a mission briefing. While he hung back, he saw Ana take a couple of steps back towards his direction.

"Does your arm hurt?," she asked.

"A little....but I'll manage," Jacen replied.

"We'll....Alex will need you at one hundred percent," Ana said as she lay her hand on Jacen's casted arm.

"Hey, I just found out I have a kid later on.....don't try to make me feel guilty about any....." He was cut off as he felt odd. Almost out of place, like he was being thrown forward almost. Everything else around him seemed to stand still for the moment. And as quick as it started, it stopped. Everything became normal again, the chattering voices echoed his ears and filled the room.

"You just...."

"Sped time up for you. Jumped you about nine weeks," Ana said as she turned her attentions towards the speaker of the moment.

"Much obliged," Jacen said as he couldn't feel any more pain sitting in his arm. Whatever was there was immediately disappearing and the discomfort was gone. Within two seconds, he was flexing his hand, and working on breaking the cast off. Only cracks appeared, and with the flick of his wrist, he had an energy knife in his free hand, and slicing open the cast. How joyous it felt for him to not have to wear that thing, and he only had it on for less than 24 hours.

Feeling ten times better, he scanned the group of mutants to see Alex looking at him every once in awhile and grinning slightly. He wondered what that was about and absent-mindedly touched his face to his hand. He had a light beard growing in? He was startled for only a second, but realized that it would happen to any guy who didn't shave for nine weeks straight.

Must be how she remembers me?, he asked himself while listening to the conversations melding into one.

He turned to Cathy, wondering what she thought of all this.
Rachael glanced at Raze from were she ended up standing. He looked just as confused as she was. Looking around the war room she took in the sights...as it was probably the last time she'd see it for a while. Her eyes soon shifted back to these new comers. They all carried features of her friends only leanding credidence to their claim of being from the futre.

Cathy caught Morgans' look and shrugged not sure what to do. She was with him in the fact that they should have tossed the lot of them into the brig after the stunt they pulled in the dining room earlier. But she wasn't the one in charged...thank god for that...an inspiring leader she was not.

Tetsuo walked into the insttute...catching an unexpected scent...not the smell of good food...but of dust. He growled, Looking around cauciously. "What the hell happened" He said, walking further into the building. He remained in human form...waiting for any kind of threat.

What was supposed to be a small infiltration operation at the beginning ended up being a parasite operation. Freya and Wanda never left the mansion and to Freya's disappointement, Emma never bothered to talk to them in anyway. Wanda still couldn't believe she somehow summoned the presidential turkey feast instead of their zombified turkey but now that they were both sitting in front of the tv with chips, nothing seemed to be important.

However, after a while, Wanda noticed that people were tensed. Well, more tensed than usual for the x-men and simply stiffed for the brotherhood. Still watching "Corpse Bride", that she summoned into the tv with her powers, she asked Freya about this tension.

The blond merely shrugged. "Something about some children coming from the future to stop a catastrophe to happen. Nothing really that important."

Wanda raised her eyebrow. "Not important? How can this be not important? Some kids are messing up the timeline and that's ok with you?"

"Unless I can go "hero", I don't care what happens to those jerks."

The goth stared at Freya for a while before opening her mouth again. "You're still mad about Logan, aren't you?"

Freya made a pouting face. "He's still refusing to tell me what he knows about Alpha Flight. I think I'll just hack the Canadian Force computer system and just steal the information I want."

Wanda wondered what was worst. To live with someone that could act like a kid at the worst moments or someone who had diabolic plans to satisfy her thirst for revenge. "So that's why they're all jerks that deserve to die?"

"No," said Freya as she took a bunch of chips in her free hand. "They're jerks for ruining the greatest goth movie. Now watch. We still have one hour to go."

"That makes sense," said Wanda before turning all her attention to the movie instead on the fate of the world.

Ana sighed. "I was hoping we could skip the story, but you are just as curious as before. We are from the future, about 18 yrs from now. In our time there a huge war has been going on for about 17 yrs. There are three sides. One side, lead by the mutant we are looking for, is a group of mutants who kill humans and mutants. Their leader is terribly strong. Even with my time power, I am unable to stop that kind of power. They are currently traveling across the seas to Europe to conquer more lands. The second side is the humans that hate all mutants. They have nuclear bombs aimed towards the mutants that are coming. But, with some many bombs, it would cause life on the Earth to disappear. The third side, where we come from, is humans and mutants who life in peace. The war began because Xavior, the mutant who would never harm a mutant or human, and President Kelly, the human who doesn't like mutants but would never kill them, have be assainated. We are not sure who exactly the mutant is. Her name changed in the future after she had her children." She looked at Sora and Sato. "But Miss Penny of the future told us we would know once we see her powers."

From listening to all that her future daughter was saying, Sasha was having a really bad feeling about this. Something told her that this would all be connected to her somehow but she wasn't sure how.

Sonya and Markus were able to escape through a sewage tunnel. "This is sooo digusting," said Sonya, as she and Markus were walking through the ecky water. Sonya was conserving her powers ever since Professor Xavior had told her to leave the mansion. "I thought Professor Xavior was gone somewhere," she said. She then saw a rat and screamed. She jumped onto Markus and they both fell through a tunnel. It was much like a water slide. They landed outside. "Eww," said Sonya, "My dress is ruined." Then it began to rain. "Can this get any worse." Unknowling, someone was watching them.

"Tell me about it..." He grunted sourly as they sludged through the sewers. Once outside. "Let's hole up in the gardeners shack till this lets up..." He pointed to the small shack that housed most of the mansions lawn care equipment. "We can dry off and figure out were to go from there...."

"Ana....we're short a few people...." Sato said after looking them over. "Fath....he's not here...." He said looking around the room.

"......" Rasing his head, Kris decides that he should be a more active listener. Straightening and turning, he leans on the left side of the door frame, looking in at the gathered group.
"Well, what kind of power does this individual have?" His voice is quiet, but at the same time, forceful, plesant and kind, all at once. With his left hand, he pushes his glasses further up his nose as he stares levely at the youth of the future. As he waits for a reply, he considers asking what happens to him, but probably, it's better if he doesn't.
