Travis grabbed Midori and roughly pinned her to the wall. "I will hurt you if I have to." he said to Midori as he motioned for Raine to hide.

Midori smiled. Then she closed her eyes and started to sing. And her songs would put any human under a trance. And none of the other mermaids know this, since she has never told anyone.

When Raine was downstairs, she opened a door to some closet and closed it quietly. She wondered if Travis would be alright.

Travis' grip loosened slightly as he tried to stay focused, though the signing was preventing that.

Midori kept singing, her song soft and hypnotic. She didn't sing too loudly, so that Raine wouldn't hear her.

Midori opened her eyes, smiling. She kept singing as she reached up and moved a bit so that his grip would continue to loosen.
