As his grip tightened on her hand, she moved a little closer to him, placing her other hand on top of his. She hated to see him in so much pain, and that feeling of being helpless to do anything about it was even worse.
"Well, you better get better soon mister. We never got to have our own fun time since I gave Aurora back to Lydia," she whispered softly to him as she gazed down at him obviously trying to hold back tears. She wanted to help him, but unforutnately she was good at giving wounds to people, not helping get rid of them. Kissing his hand gently she pressed it against her cheek for a moment with a soft laugh.
"I love you baby."

Most of the hunters are going to be staying here in the Haven."She smiled and dug into her pocket."Eden.....I know this might be panifull but."She pulled out Reno's goggles that he always had on his head."Joker found them outside. I thought you might want them."He handed them to her."I'll let you get some rest now."He said walking out of her room. Lydia Aidly Lydia smiled, glad that Edith was, for the most part, alright. Even if Edith being prgnant was very strange, granted her vampire powers. Well, Lydia never claimed to know the intricacies of the immortal races; really, all she knew was how to kill them, and kill them fast. But as soon as Gail pulled out Reno's goggles, the psychic huntress went up to Edith and hugged her.
"I am glad you are all right. I know you do not like to be babied, I got that much from our brief link, but we want you to get healthy soon. You can get better on your own, but let us help so that we can make the process quicker. And since you are now not allowed to hunt, as I am tied down with the respinsibilities of looking after my child, perhaps we could get some of those lessons in, help you to become proficent in your abilities." Lydia said in a small whisper, so only Edith could hear. Edith wasn't tired, too awake to rest, too many things to consider, too many things to think about. God, why could everyone else handle this much all at once and she was just a jumbled mess? How the hell did her brother deal with a bazillion people's issues when she couldn't even deal with her own? Wow, she'd never realized how stressful taking a leading postition, how straining, it must have been on her brother.
When she was handed the goggles, Edith bit her tongue to fight back the sobs. Her fangs sank into her tongue easily, almost as easy as poking a needle through some silk fabric, almost as clean too, minus the blood that was now oozing out of her tongue. She was disgusted by the vile taste and though she knew it'd only make it worse, she swished it around in her mouth, hoping to mix it with some saliva or something to make it less intense.
After a few moments of just sitting there, dumbfounded, she accepted the goggles that Gail had offered her. Edith snatched them hastily, looking to place them on her lap until she remembered Tokeru and just dropped them beside her. Right now she couldn't deal with this, right now she needed those goggles to leave her alone. She'd dealt with death before, but never had she dealt with a death that was intimately her fault. Yes, she hadn't forced Reno to do anything, but she'd driven him over the edge to make that decision.
Edith hugged her sister in law back, glad to have her there. She liked Lydia, even though she didn't know her well, Lydia'd always kind of been there for her, even when Edith hadn't done a thing for her. Edith forced a smile, knowing all too well how thrilled Lydia must have been about being couped up. "Yeah, sounds good," she whispered back to Lydia, voice still raspy, "and I'll help out with Aurora, after all, she's my neice, ain't she?"

Tokeru woke up, being crushed between both women, and the reason he woke up, was because he couldn't breathe.
Not wanting to just rip them apart, he started wildly thrashing his hands around, hoping they would get the idea and perhaps let him breathe.

Seeing that Tokeru was being crushed and his oxygen supply was being cut off, Edith literally jumped out of fright from the random thrashing, throwing Tokeru to the ground, and depending on whether Lydia continued to hold onto her or not, Lydia came soaring with her. Edith smashed not only against the wall, but partially through it, head bashing against it.
She was just about to utter the Lord's name in vain when she stopped herself, uttering only, "Damnit!" Immediately, her hands flew to her aching head. Oh wow was she going to have a honking headache after this. "Wow!" she exclaimed super loud, but not nearly as loudly as she could of had her voice not been so sore and raspy, "that really really hurt! Walls hurt!"
Finally coming out of her daze and stopping her exclamations of how much walls hurt, Edith rushed over to Tokeru to make sure he was alright. "Angel," she asked Tokeru, at his side, no longer holding her head, "are you alright?"

Tokeru fell backwards, gasping for air. He landed on his a** on the ground, wings brushing the walls, lungs heaving for air.
"I'm, fine..... just.....need......to......catch.....my......breath....."

((Kerri... Krii'Ouse is in a suspended bed, hanging from the ceiling, facing the floor. Laying on his back would be bad in the state.))
Krii'Ouse smiled at her statement. 'I'm sure Esou will take care of it fast enough.' He forced back a frown of pain, keeping his eyes fixated on his fiancee, using her love to force back the pain. 'Come closer, please. I want a kiss.'

Edith knelt beside Tokeru, inspecting him for any injuries as if she were his mother or something. She was a worry wart when it came to others, but when it came to herself, she was as reckless as they probably came. One of those kinds of people, who, if they were mad enough or desperate enough, they'd attempt to infultrate an entire base of over one thousand people all by themself without the assisstance of stealth. Yeah, Edith wasn't the brightest crayon in the box.
"I'm so sorry," she apologized to him with sincerity, holding him gently by his left shoulder. She would have moved him, propped him against the wall, but she was kind of concerned at how harsh his breathing was and decided that she wouldn't right now in case it strained his breathing. "I didn't mean to friggin' kill you." She then started laughing, despite her huge-a** headache and Tokeru's harsh breathing.

Grinning slightly she leaned in, planting a soft kiss on him as her lips lingered over his for a moment afterwards. Her eyes locked into his, the bright green shining through for the first time in what seemed forever. She felt more like the Kerrigan she had once been now than she had since she had been turned. Whatever it was about Krii, it tended to bring out the best in her and or that she was grateful. It was nice to get a reprieve from being the hardened hunter b***h that she had grown into. When she was with him, she could be soft and feminine instead of hardened and strong.
'You're saving what's left of my soul, you know that?," she thought to him as she planted another kiss on his lips gently.

Lydia let go in an instant, her training kicking in as she felt Edith buck and throw herself. "Edith, might I suggest lying still for now? I know you dislike being inactive, but for now, I think a lack of sudden movement would help you heal...and prevent others from getting injured." The psychic had a small smile on her face, showing that she was faintly amused.

*People say I have that effect on them.* he replied, smiling to show he was being silly. Krii'Ouse's eyes dimmed down, showing his albino red eyes peering back into her own. *To be fair, you keep Esou tamed.* he thought to her, blinking. When he opened his eyes, they had shifted into a wolf's eyes. His face protruded very slightly, and he grinned. 'Woof.'

Laughing slightly her fangs extended as she let out a soft hiss at him before grinning to show that she was being silly as well. Shaking her head with a small laugh she shifted do she was laying down on the edge of the bed, though supporting most of her weight with her foot on the floor, looking up at him with a smile.
"When did you get to be such a jokester?"

Tokeru groaned, "Please don't laugh" he said when his lungs finally recovered from the struggle. He felt something hard under his legs, and saw Reno's goggles. he moved them aside and stood up.
He took Edith's head in his hands, and kissed her. "Dont scare me like that again k?"
Unconsciously, his foot nudged aside the goggles, and pushed them under the bed.
