It was a little surreal. She held back the terror at seeing Wedsday by being polite to Cloud. 'Uhm, hi miss. I would love to, but, uhm, me and Wedsday...I think he wants to talk to me." she stammered.

"But only if she would let me," he added quickly tacked onto her sentance. He walked up closer to her room, and looked her square in the face. He wasn't backing down, he needed some things answered 'Would you let me?"

Cloud nods slowly.
"Well, I'll be around here if anyone needs me."
She turns back to her room
"Good luck you guys."
She walked back in her room and shut the door softly.

"Yeah, we'll need it." she thought to herself. "Uh, Wedsday, come in..." she opened the door wider for him but couldn't meet his eyes "There's my bed and a rug on the floor. Or I guess you could sit on the bureu."

"I'll take one side on the bed if that's ok." Could that have sounded any worse? "I'm not sure really where to start. I mean, I just keep asking myself what happened, how it could have. I noticed that you flirted with me, but that's just a part of your personality." he winced "no offense."

"None taken. Really I mean it." she said as she took a seat on the far corner of the bed "And I was asking myself the same question. I really can't be with someone. I needed you so badly that I gave in, and it was really my fault for giving you all this trouble."

"What do you mean 'you can't be with someone'?" he asked. Pale had told him a little bit about her, her history, and there was nothing abnormal. Tragic yes, but sad to say not out of the ordinary. "There's someone out there for you. And I guess I have to realize that it can't be me." the thing he hated most was that he still wanted to be with her.

"Wedsday," she moved closer to him and took his hand. Not like two nights ago, but this was more of a desperate "please understand me" sort of thing "It's impossible. I find someone I could actually care for...but they wouldn't be able to accept me."
She looked away, down at her fingers and his underneath "So I flirt and I tease and I have fun in temporay things that are never serious enough to even warrent spending the night with someone."

"Is that why you pulled away?" he asked quietly, absorbing what she was telling him slowly. He had thought that she left because she knew he was gay (he knew Pale had told her that at least) or for religious reasons. This shed a very different light. "You'll find that person, I stll maintain that. Whatever you think is so horrible...you'll find someone enraptured with you. I know because you did the exact thing two nights ago."

It was so late. The nightime stars were now the only thing that lit her room from the small window opposite them. It was why she pulled away. She could never be like that with anyone. Kia had accepted it, but it was hard for her to talk about it with other people. "Wedsday, please don't say that. Tears welled up in her eyes. You don't know what you're saying, you really don't!"

"Kiasys, what is it? What is so wrong with you that you've just written your life off to be alone?" he wanted to stand up, but looming over someone when they were crying was about the most hoprrid thing to do to anyone emotionally. He sighed and looked out the window. It was hard to watch her when she was so miserable.

Then fine. She knew he would keep her secrets, and if he was so anxious to know, then best to get it over with and leave him satisfied. Without a word she got up and went to the window. There were no shades or blinds, but there weren't any people there wither. Kiasys turned so that the light was a little bit behind her and so she faced Wedsday. She closed her eyes and removed her dress.

He looked at her, and once the shock had worn, he stood up with her. Wedsday stood in front of the window now just in case she wanted a little more privacy. Experinece taught him someone was always outside.
